To start I was standing in line and a gal was picking up her Rivian, not expecting the price she had to pay, she asked why it was more than expected, Leanne said "Because insurance didn't cover it". Very rudely, not explanation as to why or what? No courtesy to say maybe you should call your insurance carrier, just a rude response. Which..... I should have expected from talk g to Leanne the day before to schedule a rock chip repair. I told her 4x on the phone that it was the size of a quarter and I just needed the repair filled. We made an apt for me to come in, then she says we don't repair, I said that's what we talked about and she again rudely stated "well that's not what I got from our conversation". tl;dr - (Warning to Rivian owners) Requested a quote for my Rivian R1T, twice and never heard back. Ghosted in the quote phase. This is, unfortunately, one of the only certified Rivian repair shops in the Seattle area. I have a new R1T who someone hit and ran at night. I was recommended AAB by the Bellevue service center. Called on a Monday to ask how to get a quote. Most places use an electronic system but AAB asked for an email and pictures. Emailed them. Never heard back. Followed up a few days later, still nothing. In contrast, my insurance company and another repair shop (albeit further away) got me a quote in less than 24 hours. I suppose I dodged a bullet - if their quote takes so long, I can only imagine the atrocious service I'd have gotten. read more

Long story short! I went to the grocery store to pick up just a couple of things. When I got back to my car someone had clipped my back side bumper of my Forester. Damage about a foot long black strip and blue paint. I called Kirkland Subaru and got referred to Accurate Autobody. I called and spoke with Randy who is absolutely wonderful. He said they don't work on cars as old as mind but bring it in and I could probably fix it for free. I made an appointment with him and when I took my car there Randy came out looked at it and then went to work. He did such an amazing job! And it was free!!! Who does that? I gave him a bottle of wine as a thank you. I 100% recommend this business if anything should happen to your vehicle. Overpriced and dishonest. We got a quote to fix our Tesla. When I went to the car with the salesperson, our tire rim was magically partially off. They put it back on, but what are the odds it would have fallen off on the way to the shop and I wouldn't have noticed (it was not off before). Along with that the salesperson began to play with our car computer when we got in, presumably to delete the sentry video which would prove they took it off while I was waiting. Sketch! Then they quoted $5000 more (literally double) to fix the damage than it ended up costing at the Tesla branded shop, and were clear they wouldn't work with with our insurance (which the Tesla branded shop did). What a scam, so glad we didn't get our car repaired there. read more

Repair R1S front fender and side damaged by collision. Their work is high quality and they do stand with their customers with the insurance company. That said, the parts acquisition can be very slow -- but that seems about par right now. Parts can take a week or more to obtain. read more

After waiting almost 3 months for an estimate, I was told yesterday that they won't deal with the insurance company of the person who rear ended me. This was not told to me or my partner when the appointment was set up. Jackson said I would need to file a claim with my insurance company so they could work through them instead. My insurance company said I'd need to close the other claim first and it would cost me my deductible. I'm not going to do that. Is it the customer's responsibility to make an estimators job easier? Plus, getting in for repairs would be another wait of over 2 months! I should have known not to come here. My partner worked here. Said they do great work, but I've heard all the stories. These guys are only in it for the money and will move the order of cars around based on how much money they bring in, or stop working on them if insurance hasn't paid them yet. The people who do the repairs are good but management and some of the estimators are arrogant and toxic. I was hesitant to go here as I value genuine people who care. I should have listened to my gut and called around but life gets busy and the familiar feels easier. This place has plenty of business from car dealerships and the police. If you are a regular person, I recommend going elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that will do a great job with care and concern for all of their customers. read more

I needed a little touch up paint on my Tesla so I brought my Tesla touch up kit with me to see if they could do it then and how much it would cost me. I spoke to Jackson who informed me that they could do it then at no cost. I can't say enough about Jackson and his team of technicians. We recently had my wife's car in for a repair and shortly after we brought it back in to have a sensor, that popped out, put back into place. In doing so, the tech noticed that the spoiler located underneath the car had been altered from a tussle with a parking lot curb (potential cause of the sensor popping out). The tech brought customer service to the next level and fixed the spoiler and no cost. You know why? Because it's the right thing to do and customer service still matters without always gaining something in return. Big shout out to Jackson as he's top-notch. Earlier this year we had our 5th wheel hitch break while we were leaving a park. There was quite a bit of damage to our truck bed and tail gate. We just picked up our truck from Accurate Autobody and they did a fantastic job! Randy White, the service manager for our truck was wonderful to work with. Randy treated us with respect and was empathetic to our troubles. He also worked directly with our insurance company and got us the best prices for the repair. The technician that did the majority of the repair work did an excellent job, the truck looks like it just rolled off of the factory floor. I had a zero fault accident last year (literally was not even in my Tesla when it was hit). There are precious few shops that work on Teslas, and this one had the first openings for an estimate. I was working with the insurance company of the people who hit me and they had been absolutely nothing but responsive, easy to contact, and speedy. I ended up going with a different shop because these guys made the process absolutely obfuscating, stressful, and difficult. The first words out of their mouth was that I should expect to come $1-3k out of pocket for the repairs. No explanation was given, besides "that's just my experience with Tesla owners". Then there was a lot of ranting about how my paint color was difficult to match (it's a standard Tesla paint color, not a custom job). Then an imperious side convo about how this is why the estimator doesn't have a car anymore and just rides bikes everywhere (good for you?). Then when I asked for a copy of the estimate to be sent to the insurance adjuster, the estimator claimed he couldn't do that until the car was in pieces on the shop floor. No, no time frame for the repair could possibly be given. I have been lucky enough to emerge from a lifetime of driving relatively unscathed, so I didn't know if this was standard or something truly alarming, but went with my gut and waited another five months for a second estimate (Exotic Motors, Bellevue). I am writing this review after using the services of Accurate Autobody Redmond not once but twice. Both times, it was awesome (and highly recommend) working with Jackson Clemmons and the front desk. They keep you posted with updates regularly. I am also grateful for the guidance provided by Jackson Clemmons on how to go about the repairs and work with the insurance since it was the first time dealing with such situations for me both times. The quality of repair is excellent since they use only Suburu certified parts. The shop also has a tie up with Enterprise car rental across the street, which makes it convenient to setup a car rental on dropping off the car. They work best with Progressive insurance as of 2024, not sure of other insurances. Please call and check. If you are a Subaru owner, you can blindly rely on them for your repairs end to end. The only problem I have faced is the lack of appointments for estimates and repairs, but I see that as an issue with many body shops. read more

Please read ALL the one star reviews and consider some other shop. My car was two year old Tesla Model X, and Tesla list them as four star authorized shop. I dismissed the low reviews at my own peril. There are always going to bad experiences, it's how it is addressed that shows the true quality of the company and their work. There is a lack of Quality Assurance and attention to detail at this shop. If you have minor body panel damage, they maybe a good shop to accept to do the work if you can't find someone else. But anything more, I would suggest you seek a better managed shop. Like others, my car was quoted an estimate of cost and time similar to other shops but in the end was near double the cost and double the time. Same story I had read from others, back and forth with insurance eating in the time and lack of contact of progress until insurance discontinued car rental support. Read the reviews of other one star ratings and I will not repeat anymore of the same I experienced. Their skill at body work and painting is good, and I am mostly happy with that work. I state mostly, as they missed several things in their quality checks which in the end were poorly addressed. First, an obvious blemish in the paint on the newly replaced door, which they took back and polished immediately when I spotted it. But returned it with polishing compound now splattered across the plastics molding of the car. Second, an inch diameter gouge in the door frame under that replaced door was not addressed at all. Already at over two months without my car and already paying a month of a rental, they pressured me into a less than good solution at the fix leaving a paint seam at the door frame edge. At least they paid for the rental when addressing this shortfall; but it should have been spotted and addressed correctly. Further, who ever in their shop that did the work to remove internal panels in the back of the car left muddy foot prints not only on the carpet but also under the carpet after it was removed. I am not saying one or two, it was more or less covered in shoe prints. They also left dust and grit on the inside of the car that they mostly wiped up, but was left under some surfaces and at the carpet edges near interior molding. Shouldn't they have masked off the inside when sanding and polishing?! I had to return it to them to clean it up. They should have cleaned it up before I even seen the car let alone try to return it finished in that state. Truely, they should have not put shoe prints on the inside of the car in the first place let alone mask off the inside when sanding. While working on the car, they somehow introduced an air leak in the driver's door, which was not directly damaged originally. It wasn't there even after the damage they were fixing had happened. Again, things happen. But when it was returned to address the numerous issues including this, they stated they fixed it. They did not. At this point, the steering is still not fully centered and the alignment still a little off, even though they stated it was done. They did something I know, as it was better centered than when I drove it in; it just wasn't fully fixed. It was also an item in my list to reworked when I returned it. When I picked it up the second time; I was handled not by my primary contact even though he was present in the shop, and was simply stated all things were addressed. After several miles of driving, it was obvious they weren't. Please save yourself some frustration and stress, pick another shop. read more

I dropped off my car acura mdx from very minor front hit another car at traffic light (crash front bumper, front driver and passenger seat belts locked, airbag line on without deploying airbag at all). First estimate from Accurate AB roughly $2600 which higher than Safeco estimated $500. Dropped off car then the cost changed drastically to last bill as $7600. I will complain to Acura to remove this company out of Acura certified repair service and my insurance company as their over price repair service. When I refused to proceed with the repairs because it would take 30 more days; they blamed the manufacturer, yet I had paid for parts upfront and they had already arrived. I needed to replace the rusted right side rocker panel on my 2005 Chevrolet Suburban, I learned it was not a simple repair. My Chevy dealer recommended Accurate Auto Body. The estimator took the time to make a thorough inspection and supply an estimate, but recommended I not undertake the expense of the repair. I decided to proceed anyway. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a body shop. I will definitely be posting in the Tesla groups I'm in to make sure people choose a different shop. I brought my car here because they were so highly rated. From the beginning it was clear my business was not valued. I called on Monday to confirm that the tow truck driver had dropped of my car but no one answered. So I left a message. I called back on Tuesday and left another message. Finally on Wednesday I was able to talk to someone who said they called me on Tuesday but I had no record of it. It took 4 days in total to get an estimate and when I decided to take my business elsewhere I was charged storage fees for all of those days. Randy was very rude in our initial conversation stating that it would be two weeks before he could get me an estimate. Then he said that he had 20 cars on the lot that were waiting on insurance, and to be ready for delays. Next I got a contract in my email that said, "please sign" with no explanation. When I read the contract it was clear that the shop had no intention to work with the insurance company (which made sense why 20 cars were sitting unfinished in the lot). When I sent the new tow truck driver to get the car, I got a call asking for my credit card to release the car. They charged me $100 a day for lot fees.
