I've used Unique Tree Service several times over the last five or six years. The foreman Carlos is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to maintaining large trees, taking care of trees so that they remain both structurally sound and beautiful. The team of Professionals works well together and they are both efficient and clean. They can also bring out the big equipment and handle large jobs and the prices are extremely reasonable for the kind of service that they offer. I strongly recommend Unique Tree Service if you want to give your trees the maintenance they need to shine as focal pieces at your home or business. read more

These guys are the best. I called at 5:30 am and they were here by 6:30 am. I had my parrot fly up a tree and they came out very quickly in the morning to get the bird down. They were very fair with pricing. My family is very thankful as our parrot is back home safe. read more

Carlos and his team were great! From the price to the quality of work, communication was great and everything was done in a timely manner

I have a residence and the lot is just short of an acre so there's plenty of tree maintenance. Unique Tree service personel arrived on time as committed at 8:00 am. My project consisted of two ash trees, three palms and one Chinese elm tree. The crew began by moving patio furniture and my Bbq - so nothing would be damaged. They even covered several sprinkler valves to avoid being damaged. The crew came equipped with chain saws, heavy machinery and trucks to work efficiently. Several employees worked simultaneously on the three queen palms and the Chinese elm. The two tall ash trees were cut back and trimmed lastly, since they were nearest to the street for chopping and shredding. I was surprised how much debri there was. I requested the wood to be hauled away which was completed. The crew did a superb job cleaning up and even blew all the areas lined with pavers. The owner Carlos also showed up and assisted his crew who were all cordial and friendly. Unique Tree Service was the best tree trimming company I've ever used and was a pleasure to do business with. read more

I contracted Unique Tree Service to do an ornamental pruning on my 30' Flowering Pear tree; drop the crown, raise the hem, cut the tree away from the roof and lace out the foliage. Being a former tree trimmer/surgeon specializing in ornamental pruning, I can heartily recommend Ramiro and his crew to do the job. Not only was Unique the low bid (about 2/5 the cost of the median bid), but the job was completed in accordance with my wishes. I did not reveal my professional qualifications beforehand nor did I micromanage the job. Ramiro was competent and swift in his expertise, and his ground crew did an excellent job of clearing and cleaning, leaving the property clean and tidy. Kudos to a company who lives up to expectations! read more

Carlos and his team are hands-down experts. With over 20+ years of tree trimming experience. If you're looking for a high-quality pruning or trimming or even a removal of a tree look no further. I care a lot about my trees but I did a lot of research to find this company they truly know how to trim a tree appropriately and not just cut random branches off. Unique tree service is our one stop tree service that we will use as long as they are in business. Thank you Carlos and crew for an amazing job today trimming our palm trees and trees in our backyard so expertly! read more

Look no further, Carlos and his Team did an extraordinary job in removing two, 20ft plus, melaleuca trees (one stump removal), and cleaned up a carrotwood tree in a matter of 3 hours. His price was unmatched, and couldn't not be beat by any other company. Unique Tree Service is licensed and insured. They arrived on time and his staff were safe and professional. Upon completion, the team cleaned up and left almost little, to no trace of a debris. I highly, highly, recommend Unique Tree Service. Muchisimas gracias, Carlos, y a tu equipo! read more

Scheduled a tree trimming serviceOnly by my confirmation did I find out he was not planning to show. Rescheduled and confirmed date and time. NO SHOW! Unprofessional, unreliable! Update to review: Were late. But Roberto and crew did a great job. Nicely laced my three trees. No damage to my plants, including a couple plumerias. Cleaned up. read more

Our neighbor had a problem with our 40 year old trees that reach over the property line. We maintain these trees - trimmed by professionals every 3 to 4 years. Multiple other tree services have come by and left realizing this trees are not a danger or nuisance (no property issues). Not these guys. Neighbor had them come out with no one home (we were on vacation!) The cuts are terrible and two professional arborists have written evaluations stating the pruning has ruined the trees and cut their lives short by decades. Yea, hire these guys, they'll cut anything read more

We used Unique Tree Service twice in 2022 with mixed results. The first job involved pruning an enormous 60-year-old Oak tree. Carols and his team did outstanding work! The 2nd job involved pruning 5 other trees. Carlos was unable to supervise; some of the work was disappointing. Cross branches were left in a Mulberry tree (see pictures). And our overgrown loquat tree, which used to have lovely lower branches that provided our family loquats for over 50 years, was probably ruined. I asked them to not cut the lower branches -- it is a fruit tree, after all. Instead they cut all of the lower branches. Only birds will enjoy the loquats for a long time. But for very large trees, like our Oak, I would recommend Unique Tree Service if Carlos is on site to supervise the work. read more

This review is long over due, and I feel bad I haven't written it sooner. So back in July 2020 I had a dying tree that sat on my retaining wall to the point any amount of pressure could cause the wall to fall. I explained to Carlos the owner that someone with experience needs to be on this, he said no problem. A week later Carlos was the one to not only climb the delicate dead tree, but him and his team knocked all 3 trees in about 2 hours. And that was with clean up. And when he didn't have the right stump grinder, he came back a few days later and got it done. The price was fair for the amount of work, I had also gotten 3 bids and he was the cheapest and honesty the best. They even wore mask to keep everyone safe cause of covid. Seriously Carlos and his team did an awesome job. I would use them again if I had anymore trees to cut down. read more

Our project consisted of trimming, topping, and pruning 12 very large, grown pine and pepper trees. For the job, we reached out to a total of 4 companies and after meeting with each one in person we decided to contract the services of Unique Tree Services. Carlos and his team were on time, very professional, and not only completed the whole job in one day but did a magnificent job at putting things back in place, cleaning and clearing the area from branches and any debris. Unique Tree Service just removed my tree and stump today. They were professional, efficient and careful. The tree was leaning toward the house and was about 10 feet from the house and nearby wooden fencing. They took the tree our chunk by chunk protecting my property. They ground up the tree into their truck. They used a stump grinder to finish the removal. They removed all the debris and leaves and raked the area making things presentable. I would hire them again and am thoroughly impressed with them. One thing I would suggest is to notify your next door neighbor to move their car as the stump removal generates a lot of dust. read more

I had to hire additional tree service and root removal to be performed at our home by Unique Tree Service (State License 1041745) under the direction of Founder and Owner, Mr. Carlos Carrillo. I was so impressed with him and his team's work that I am formally writing a highly recommended review as they are a very professional crew of hard-working, mindful individuals who carry out a very clean, careful and thorough job from start to finish. The job was not only quoted appropriately in terms of price and timeline, but they were very professional, respectful, punctual and mindful not to cause any property damage and cleaned up very well after the job was complete. They provided status reports throughout the day of how the work was going and explained to the us homeowners and customers how the job would be carried out to avoid any debris on the tile roof, the koi and turtle ponds, as well as patio framing and any windows or siding. We were so impressed with their ability and quality of work that I wanted to personally promote them and refer them as very satisfied customers. read more

First, I rarely write reviews on Yelp but this company deserves some serious praise. Couldn't be more happy with the service provided by Carlos and the team from Unique Tree Service. These guys are true professionals. We are in the process of remodeling a home and the backyard had numerous towering King and Queen palms, Giant Birds of Paradise plants and ficus trees that needed to be removed. We interviewed several tree services and none of them could match the price or offer the services provided by Unique Tree Service. Most of the companies we interviewed offered to cut down the palm and ficus trees leaving ugly stumps behind but Unique Tree Services was one of the few companies who could actually grind the stumps down and in many cases remove the stumps. You can barely tell where they removed giant palm trees or ficus trees. The removed tree areas are level and ready for planting. Carlos and his crew showed up on time at 7:30am, worked all day, cleaned up for the evening and then finished the job on time the next day. Every employee was very careful not to damage the remaining landscape or hardscape and they used best practices when it came to safety. They hauled away all of the material and let the place looking better than when they arrived. I also had Carlos trim a very, very large Coral Tree in the front yard and he did a fantastic job taking the branches up and creating more space for the tree to thrive. It looks better than ever. I will definitely use them again and have already recommended them to several neighbors (who all had excellent service as well). Highly recommend this business. read more
