I messaged Rigo and he responded immediately. After giving him an idea of what I needed done, we scheduled a date to meet up so he can look at the trees and give me an estimate. I wanted to remove a really big and old tree, some lawn plants, a medium sized orange tree, and trim some trees. With all of that work, he was able to give me a really affordable quote. After we met up, we were able to schedule a date to start the service. Rigo was really accommodating, easy to work with, and very informative. On the day of the job, Juan and his crew arrived and was ready to get to work. Juan was super nice and friendly. Juan checked in with me to confirm the work I needed and then they got to work. Their work was excellent! They had like 10 guys, each guy having their own role and their teamwork was flawless. I was in awe just watching them. These guys are pros. The stump of the nectarine tree was completely removed. The orange tree had to be taken down to half its size as it was very overgrown. They did a great job of trimming and shaped it beautifully. After several calls/text later, he finally responds and I ask to make an appointment. When I first used his service, I liked it...the second time was fine as well, but holy hell the third time was like pulling teeth. First, he said no problem and said he would need to check his schedule, which I said that's okay, just give me a heads up so I can make sure there is space for their trucks as I live in an HOA community. He said, no problem. The day goes by and no response. Then I receive a text at 8pm that evening and he said "I have an opening tomorrow morning"... I responded that I needed time to notify my neighbors. He then goes and says ok, we can do it next week. I said, "sure, just let me know what day is available so I can plan it out." Two days goes by, and I haven't heard from him. I messaged him and he says he can come tomorrow. (Like you agreed for next week, didn't give me an appointment schedule and now I have to drop everything just to make it convenient for you...I'm sorry, who is the customer?). If I wanted an appointment the next day, I would have taken the first offer, but the fact he kept ignoring my request for a later date. What crossed the line was he telling me to park my car in the space in the back to save the spot, but first of all, that's not how it works. I cannot control who is parking in the community parking spot. Second, I will most likely be at work unless I can plan ahead and you would think someone who has service my trees before would understand. In fact, when I got home, both spots were already occupied. Regardless if I could have parked there, there are 2 spaces, and both spots would need to be blocked off because last time they decided to start cutting, there was another car next to their boom truck and while trimming, all the debris was falling on the car not taking into consideration if the debris would damage it. Hence why I want the heads up on the date so I can let my neighbors know and post signs. The fact he ignores my request again and only after I posted a negative review he then tries to make it up by offering me discounts and contact me to change my review to right his wrong. Anyways, I've decided to move on from Paez Tree Service as I was more than fair and patience with my request, but that didn't seem to register or resonate with the owner and then tries to blame me for giving him a negative review. Do better as an owner and listen to your customers.
