As described in the photos I posted, I have had this fig tree for maybe 25 years, every year it produced bumper crops that I gave all the fruits to my neighbors, I don't even like them but my husband loved it, my daughters liked them too, my grandkids went crazy climbing on the tree, it just cracked me up seeing 3 to 4 climbing at the same time on the tree, they climbed on the orange trees too but they got higher much faster. This year for some reason it had only 5 figs and the roots grew all over 1/3 of the garden, it was time to cut it down. We went to yelp for recommendation and was pleasantly surprised Yelp had a warranty policy. I called the 1st entry, the man looked cold to me and his estimate shocked the daylight out of me, how could he possibly charge that much, as senor Cabral completed the job in less than 3 hours, he had 2 workers, 1 was his son. My 2nd estimate was with Cabral Tree Service. Camilo Cabral was very nice, I just connected w him immediately, good vibes I guess, he quoted me 40% cheaper than the other dude, I was thrilled as I just came back from a very expensive cruise from Venice to 9 ports and running into a cash crunch I guess, I think I should spoil the grandkids a little less. I was both nostalgic and at the same time relieved seeing it finally gone as the roots were breaking the sprinklers, it grew to the sky and became so huge, it literally fell sideway to the ground. By the way, he said he would fix the sprinklers if he breaks any. Mr Cabral was punctual, he came w his son and another guy, everybody was smiling and happy, in less than 3 hours the tree was gone, I never saw so many weird machines that could pulverize the roots in so little time. After it was done, he cleaned the entire area as if nothing happened. Great job sí señor! If you need a tree removed, call Cabral Tree service, you'll be very happy, I will call Camilo back for some other trees job, my husband thinks he can do it all, to him it's a hobby but it's very dangerous as he had fallen off the ladder once, I will need some trimming service maybe in the fall. Bummed because i wanted to work with these guys again after having great experiences in the past however unfortunately i can no longer recommend them. Camilo came out to give a price, it was fair, however after getting other prices i asked if you'd be willing to match. Helio's company has done work for my neighbor's house for a long time. I hired him to cut some limbs that overhang onto my property from town land. There was no easy access to cut them with equipment so he climbed the trees to cut the limbs. Helio is a Master Arborist so he knows how to cut limbs without damaging the trees. Second time using Cabral Tree Service-- and this was a very big job for them. Time finally came to clear out the entire backyard and front flower beds. With my experience the first time they were here 2 1/2 years ago-- they were the only call I made. Camilo was here in under an hour for an estimate. I told him what we were looking to do and he even offered suggestions for things I didn't think of (trimming some trees that could later be an issue; and he was right!). Scheduled the date and he and his crew were here-- bright and early. It was a 2-3 day estimated job and they got EVERYTHING done in a day and-a-half. It was a tough job but he and his crew did a PHENOMENAL job and I was blown away when they finished early this afternoon. I contacted Cabral Tree Trimming in Garden Grove, thinking that I was calling a company I'd used before, A. Cabral Tree Trimming in Irvine. By the time I realized they were two different companies, Camilo Cabral had already come over from Garden Grove and had given me a very reasonable quote for the job. Plus Mr. Cabral impressed me as a straightforward and honest man who just wanted to do good work for an appropriate price. My instinct was right: for 1/3 of the price other services quoted, Mr. Cabral's crew pulled a dead tree, a rose bush, cleaned up the creeping vine that had invaded half the patio, trimmed back a fast-growing bougainvillea tree plus cleaned up all the fallen bougainvillea blossoms and the wild grass.
