The owner wouldn't listen. Not "disagreed" -- wouldn't listen. My father tried twice to explain the car, the body work Both times he got talked over and brushed off. Then, after all that, a glance at the car and a flat no: won't touch it because of the body work, or maybe come back in winter. Neither of which required us to be standing in his lot.
Every one of those things could have been said on the phone and would have saved us the trip, the flatbed, and the afternoon. He didn't ask, because asking would have meant listening.
If you want any work done this is not your shop, and you'll find that out the expensive way like we did. If you don't mind being talked over, I suppose you'll be fine. read more
