Made my car look brand new again! I went in for an estimate and dropped my car the next morning and it was fixed so quickly. Everyone was very nice and I paid exactly what I was estimated. Highly recommend! read more

Service was excellent. From the first entrance at the door to the exit after the job, the staff was so courteous and kind. I am glad that I used Portside. They kept me updated on every step and the price was right too, not over the mountain fine-print charges like other places. I would recommend them anytime and every time!! read more

I don't write many reviews but I absolutely felt that I had to let anyone that was even thinking about using Portside Collision that they should bring your car or truck there as soon as possible without hesitation. Juan at Portside Collision is a perfect gentleman and does fantastic work!! Being born and raised in New York City, I have unfortunately had to deal with many body shops over the years for one reason or another. Never have I felt so comfortable leaving my car with someone as I did with Juan. He was patient and kind in all of his words and actions. I will undoubtedly use him for all of my collision needs for as long as he is in business. I can't wait to refer him to the next person that needs some body work done! Do not hesitate to call or go in person. He is the man! read more

I had extensive body work done on my vehicle. The shop did an excellent job. The communication was top notch. Juan does an exceptional job at communicating and explaining. Juan went above and beyond in taking care of any questions/issues I inquired about. I would go back here, and I would recommend this business for any autobody problems. read more

Juan and his team did an excellent job repairing our car. Their estimate was reasonable, and they stuck to it. We were very happy with their work and the care they took with the repair. They also completed the work on time. High recommended! read more

Juan the owner of Portside, is a pro, and a gentleman who can be trusted to repair your car to your specifications, and do right by you! His communication is clear, timely and proactive - calls, texts, both. He explains your repair options clearly, spends time with you, is patient, and works well with your insurance company with your interests at heart. He's my go-to if his expertise is ever (unfortunately) needed again! My daughter hit the back of a metal box truck with her car, with much cosmetic / body damage (she's thankfully fine). Juan and his team of experts completed their work, and the car looks and drives like new and better than before the accident. Unbelievably awesome work, and Juan was on target with repair time to complete, which is a challenge given the supply chain issues. I couldn't be happier with Portside and with Juan and his team! Nothing bad to say, at all. You won't regret it! read more

As good as it gets! Juan is the owner of Portside Collision, he is great! This was the first time I was here, I brought my SUV in for a bumper replacement after someone hit me in the parking lot. Jaun talked you through everything, he answered all your questions, even questions you didn't know you had he answered before you could think of those questions. He ordered my new part the same day I spoke with him, and I hadn't even dropped the vehicle off, it would be another 2 days before I dropped my vehicle off. I spoke with him 5/16, dropped my vehicle off on 5/18, my bumper was already there. I just got my vehicle back today and I couldn't be happier. He explained how he saved me money, he explained how everything worked out to make everyone happy in the long run. He got me in, he got the work done in a timely manner, and the impressive part was I got my vehicle back before one of the busiest holidays that kick off the summer, Memorial Day! I definitely recommend Jaun! He is professional, his communication is very clear; there was never an misunderstanding about what was going on. He spends time with you to explain things and works well with your insurance company as well as you. He explains all your options having to do with your repair. He also washes your vehicle before you get it back and does an interior wipe down. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back for any repairs I need! This is the only place I will go now! read more

I went to every Auto Body shop in the area to get work done on my car, which I cherish. I was looking for a shop with experience and integrity. I needed to feel like I can trust them to do the job to my standards but still keep the cost reasonable as I was paying out of pocket. Juan at Portside Collision is a diamond in the rough. Most times you come across shady body shops that try to squeeze every dollar they can out of you. Juan was such an upfront guy. He spent more time than he needed to discuss my issue and possible outcomes. He quoted me a price and stuck to it at the end of the job even though he had to put in a little more work than he expected. That's unheard of. I consider myself lucky to come across Juan and his establishment. He is an experienced Auto Body man with integrity that seeks to do right my his customers. He also does amazing work. I will bring all my auto body work to Portside Collision. You should too. read more

WOW! Well deserved 5 stars. I'm an extreme car enthusiast that keeps all my cars immaculate. I went to several other places before coming here. Some very well known in custom and high end exotic car work. However, I was turned off by their way of doing business. Thankfully from doing extensive research I found Juan. Not only was he honest, but he is a humble man. I felt comfortable leaving my Lexus RC F in his hands. He took care of all my concerns and went the extra mile providing information. My RC F came out flawless! The 1 hour drive from Huntington was well worth it. Hands down this is the place to go. I am so grateful. Thank you. read more

This is, by far, the BEST auto shop I've ever been to & I've been to several in 3 different states. Their work is impeccable/perfect; they are timely & kept me informed of their progress; & everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous, personable and kind. Our car looked better after the repair than before the deer accident smashed up the front. They just went that extra step so few people do these days. Couldn't give it a higher recommendation: Totally EXCELLENT read more

I went to see Juan at Portside Collision based on the favorable reviews. I could not have been more pleased. He walked me through how to handle the claims process. I went through my first car accident after driving for over 9 years, victim of a rear-end incident in the Bronx, NY. I just had my brand new car, as little as 20 days old, when this all occurred. One of my closest friends from school recommended Juan and Portside Collision after he himself was in a big accident several years ago. The warm recommendation of Juan and his workmanship was enough to persuade me to seek Portside Collision for repairs. After traveling from the Bronx to Eastern Long Island I was pleasantly surprised at how warm and receptive Juan and the employees were. Juan took some time to break down some of the damages and work that was expected for the car and reassured me that my car would be returned to its brand new condition. I was nervous given the Pearl White paint color on my car and the stories I heard of how difficult paint match is for that specific color. Fast forward a few weeks later, my car looked flawless! It was as if I just rolled it off the dealership once again. The paint match was perfect, the workmanship was impeccable and I received the vehicle in a timely manner. Throughout the process, Juan and his staff kept me updated with phone calls just to make sure I was aware. His staff took care of anything and everything related to the insurance. The entire stress of the accident was mitigated because of the staff at Portside. I have never experienced customer service like this before. I highly recommend Juan to anyone who is looking for a reliable, warm, smart and excellent individual to care for their car whether it be after an accident or for minor cosmetic upgrades. When I look at my car today there is no evidence of any accident. Out of sight, out of mind! Juan and Portside Collision Center will be my go-to if, God forbid I ever need it again. For now, I will continue to recommend this place to friends and family. Great service, great final-product, great owner and staff. read more

Awesome place ... Extremely friendly... Amazing turn around time .. My car is like new again

I brought my 2015 Mustang GT to this shop for some paint work to sharpen my car. I had my hood scoops, front and side splitter painted red by them. I am extremely satisfied with the job they did, and I am very picky. They have great customer service and they are super knowledgeable and passion with what they do. They don't just finish the job, they get it done with care and heart. I am coming back for more customizations of my car in the near future! read more

My car had previous bodywork done on 3 panels and the paint failed and blistered off. I was hesitant to get it redone because of the time/stress/money involved in finding a quality shop and hoping they would do it right. I spoke with owners of 3 other shops and didn't feel comfortable with any of them before going to Portside. The results pretty much blew my mind, exceeded expectations. They also went above and beyond in taking care of the car beyond the scope of the quote. My only suggestion would be to use a different sanitizer - whatever was used smells like it has unfiltered ethanol in it. If you are reading reviews and deciding on body shops, CHOOSE PORTSIDE, you won't find anyone better!!! read more

Was in an accident a few weeks ago. Luckily no one was injured but quite a bit of damage to my car. Decided to use Portside, since they came highly recommended from my cousin. So glad I went with them. Juan is super nice and a pleasure to work with. He clearly informs you step by step what is being done to the car and keeps you posted during the whole process. The quality of work done on the car was truly outstanding! I can't imagine any customer every writing a bad comment on Portside Collision. read more

Absolutely amazing. Someone backed into my XC90 and left. Insurance wouldn't help enough and wanted to charge me way over the top. Came here off of a recommendation and meet Robert and Juan. They checked out the damage and priced it out very quickly and extremely fairly. They saved me so much money with the repair. Besides the great pricing you can't put a price on the quality of the work they put into the job. They quoted me for 2 days and it was done in 2 days and even offered to drive me back and forth to pick up the finished product. I can't thank you enough. And I'll be recommending your shop to all my friends and colleagues. Thanks again! read more

This is a long over due note that I intend to post. Portside Collision came highly recommended when my van was parked in a lot and hit by another vehicle. The bumper, side panel and sliding door suffered quite a bit of damage with some metal exposed in certain places. Juan provided guidance throughout the entire process, including regular status updates on the repairs. Portside did a superb job with the body work and paint job - the van looks just like new! They even provided both pick up and drop-off service (this saved me two trips with two rambunctious toddlers in tow). I would definitely use them again! read more

Juan is incredibly professional and helpful in his dealings. I would not hesitate to go to Portside in the future.

Had someone rear end my late model Lexus. $12,000.00 in damage. Met Juan the owner who assured me that he could make the car like new. I was concerned due to the amount of damage and the fact that the car is black. It took a few weeks to repair the car. The workmanship was outstanding and the paint color match was perfect. I am astounded at the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire staff. I've had collision work done before but the quality of work at Portside is a whole new level of good. Absolutely fine, outstanding work. He worked with my insurance company and made the whole process painless. I am extremely happy. Highly recommended. read more

There is no words to express how much this place means to me! The work and service is impeccable! Portside Collision is by far the best Mechanics I have been to. From the beginning they made it very easy to have my car repaired after an accident. I was referred to Juan and his team from another one their clients. To say they have gone above and beyond would be an understatement. Since this was my first accident I was unfamiliar with the process, Juan did a great job of not only putting me at ease but also talking me through how to go about reporting it through insurance and picking up a rental. He even suggested I get it towed since we were unsure if the engine may have been damaged. Most importantly the car was brand new and it was devastating I crash it. I recall Juan reassuring me that he would do whatever he could to restore it to exactly how it was so that I wouldn't have to look at the damage and relive the experience. I have to say he did not disappoint! It was such a relief to see my car restored back to brand new. In regards to pricing I went through insurance. However my family reviewed the estimate and thought it was priced very fairly. Even if they were to charge more I would definitely pay because you known what you are getting and the service and quality of work makes it worth every penny! read more

I absolutely love this place... my first time going! Super friendly service, even when I was on the phone with them. My car looks brand new. Speedy service. It was ready 2 days before they originally said it would be. It took about a week. They even spoke to my insurance company, didn't get charged for my rental. You can leave your rental when you pick up your car for a hassle free exchange. My car was immaculately car when I got it. They wash your car but it was more like a detail. I would recommend them to everyone. read more

This place is an absolute win! It is incredibly hard to find good honest guys in this field who are genuine and actually do good work. First of all Juan is as nice of a guy you will meet. I have used him for multiple cars of mine and I'm extremely picky about my stuff. His work is top notch and only exceeded by his customer service. Even the pricing is extremely fair! He fixed my girlfriends car when I was on a tight budget and I still can not believe how good it came out! He recently fixed my 2016 Subaru WRX that was hit in a parking lot and I was terrified that the repair would never match again being that it's a pearl white, and my car ended up turning out great! I can't say enough good things about Juan and Portside Collision! If your worried about finding a honest body shop with top notch work, this is your place! Spend 5 minuets talking to Juan and you'll know this is the shop you want taking car of your car. read more

This review comes late and I apologize to the guys at Portside Collision. Last year my parked car was hit by someone driving a U-Haul truck with a Learner's Permit. That was the first time that I ever had to put a claim in through my insurance company. Unfamiliar with the process, I called Juan at Portside Collision to get an idea of the car repair process. He was extremely pleasant over the phone and was kind enough to explain everything in detail. When I took my car in for him to assess the damage, without rushing me, he once again explained the process. I was pleased with his response and felt comfortable in leaving my car. Juan took me to Enterprise to get a rental, worked out the difference with the insurance company and the second claims adjuster, got original parts for my Jeep, completed my car before a snow storm was to hit and then returned the rental for me. It was such a seamless and hassle free process because of my insurance company and the guys at Portside Collision. The job was amazing and their customer service was superb. Having to deal with a car repair at the same time I was buying my first house would normally be a stressful situation, but I thank Juan for not making it so!!! read more
