I cannot recommend this shop and their team enough! My car was hit while parked, and between insurance companies and a hack to the auto parts systems used everywhere the process to fix was longer than expected. However the team at this shop were incredible every step of the way. I always knew the status of my repairs thanks to Ryan keeping up with me, and I barely had to speak to insurance because he handled everything. The owner Gene is a master at paintless dents and also helped in fixing a separate issue of damage unrelated to the accident. When I got my car back it felt brand new--cleaned, vacuumed, and waxed. The team here is incredible and you won't be disappointed! I was in an accident on St Patrick's Day and my car needed to be towed. I had no idea where my car was going to end up. The tow company brought it to Good Shepherd Auto Body and I have to say everything was beyond smooth with them. From the tow, to getting to see my car next day to the finish line. Ryan and Gene are beyond helpful and extremely nice. They kept me informed as much as possible with my car. They did an amazing job with my car! Gene and his crew are courteous and down to earth. I was in need of Genes services for two vehicles one of which needed to be fixed within 24 hrs. Gene took a look at the dent and assured us that he will do his best and there should not be a problem. Sure enough we brought the vehicle in the next day at 8:00 a.m. and he had it completed by 12:00 noon looking like new as he had assured us . I brought in my Toyota Tacoma with a similar dent and with pleasant consistency Gene was able to fix the dent in the same reliability and expediency as my brother in-law's. Gene was referred to me by his own brother in law to do floors/ rockers / frame connectors on my family owned since 73 duster 340..they totally screwed me with missed welds on floors..( random holes) and very sloppy welds on only driver frame connector like a first timer did it,!!!passenger was ok.jus not full welds only spot welded..gene and his son are complete liers and gene is not a man if his word..""good"" shepherd I think not...may karma come back to you like you robbed me!! Since you refuse to stand by your work!!! Your a hack!! And you should be ashamed to do your family or any one who gives you work like that...wish I could post pictures!!! There is a reason that Good Shepard has been around for over 50 years. They are very honest and professional worksmen/women. They will walk you through everything you need to know, including "why", have patience with you. The auto sales on the property are 100% recommended by me. I bought an 07 Suburban from them in a private sale and when the battery died in Greenport, the salesman (Matt) actually answered my call, not only that but late on a Friday evening. He hooked me up with all sorts of parts that I needed for the vehicle, hitches and a spare tire, extra wiper arm, a new battery... Helped me register my vehicle and gave me good advice for dealing with the DMV... Gene gave me excellent advice when my prior vehicle broke down and took time to explain to me (amateur mechanic) how to do what I needed to do when it took time out of his busy day on a weekday. I honestly would order from them again any time I needed a new vehicle. but I'm hoping this one will be a long time keeper! Thanks everyone at the shop for being excellent.
