I wanted to go to Uniqlo and have lunch at a nice Shanghainese restaurant. In my mind, I can't have both. So decided to go to Richmond instead. To my surprise, there is Uniqlo inside Richmond Center. How awesome is that. I do like their products. So I picked up some work pants. They are good quality for a good price. I do like their products. How I found out about them was at Bellevue Square. So now I don't have to go to the USA to pick up Uniqlo products. Nice. Very convenient location for me now. read more

Oh My GOSH! The day has finally arrived... Uniqlo is here people!!!!! I remember the first time I stepped into Uniqlo in Hong Kong and I fell in love. Stepping into Richmond Centre's Uniqlo gave me the same nostalgia - minus the chaos inside from its Grand Opening. I really love Uniqlo because they really are the essence of Japan care and thoughtfulness. The quality of their clothing make is great and the materials are more than what you pay for from casual prima cottons to soft durable chiffons to breathable tech clothing. Their style is simple yet chic, which make it an ease to dress and not be overly bland. Overall, a wonderful laid back yet fashionable line of clothing from casual to dressed up to athletic! I especially love their "easy to care for" line of soft silky blouses - machine washable and has crease prevention material - so soft and easy to wear! A go-to is their jegging pants - looks like pants but all the stretch and shape retention as leggings! Their wireless bras are always a must - light, soft and feels like nothing at all with lovely shape and support. And I can't forget their Airism line - light, breathable and UV blocking tech for all your outdoor or sporty needs! This location is only one floor but they were able to pack a lot of items and variety into this space yet still maintain its wonderful organization. I also enjoy their occasional sales - look out for their red signs to locate the good deals! The staff are also always helpful and really friendly, which definitely relays the same hospitality as the Japan-chain stores. Overall, super happy Uniqlo is here and can't wait to shop some more - already spent over $200 at their Grand Opening! read more

Comfortable clothing but worst service and return/exchange policies. Parents be aware! They no longer refund the PST if you paid for your orders online. As a working mother, I do most of my shopping online, especially when my kid is asleep so I can have some peace and quiet to browse. During the recent Easter weekend, I spotted a sale on Baker's pants my daughter has been requesting. Paid for my order online and went to the store to pick up a week later. The store manager refused to do a full refund and let me pay for it again on the spot without the PST as what they had always been doing in the past. She said Uniqlo has change their policy. A stupid and unfair policy for parents with children who can no longer fit in their tiny children clothing that's for sure. read more

Went into the store today to buy a few new pieces for fall. Would love to thank Kevin for the impeccable customer service we received. I wanted to buy a top but unfortunately it was the only one on the floor and it had a snag in the back. Kevin came to assist us in looking for more stock. I saw him frantically searching and told him it was fine that I'll just take the damaged one anyways because I liked the style a lot. He asked if I could wait and I said yes. The long wait is over for me. I have been to the other stores. I love this fashion and have had all my Japanese friends consistently talk about this department store brand. Of course being in Richmond this was naturally busy and it was still opening week, therefore, it was expected that the crowds would be somewhat intolerable and the change room waits a little longer than expected. I did get a nice jacket, a few blouses and some capri pants for work now that the season will get better soon. The price and quality has always been great. The selection is the same as the Burnaby location but I was in Richmond anyway for other things so came in here. It's nice not having to order from the US online to have some of the items I have been used to wearing. I more likely will go back to get some summer skirts. read more

One of my favourite boutiques. Really good quality clothing at very well priced points. Literally bought all my work clothes here and most of my casual clothings. It is very good quality with tons of designs. There are a lot of options to choose from with a wide range of selection. The T-shirts collaborations are one of my favourite things at UNIQLO. The service there is great and all the staffs are very friendly. Also with the phone app download it gives you $5 off your first purchase and they have free alterations for pants! read more

I went to Richmond Uniqlo today to make an exchange. My original purchase was 19.99 and I exchanged for an item that was 12.99. Employees refused to give the difference as credit voucher or gift card. I was extremely unhappy with their policy. I asked them if it were the other way and I had picked an item for more than my original purchase price, would I need to pay the difference and they said I would have had to. This does not seem fair. I did not ask for a refund just a store credit and they refused to give it to me. Will not shop at their location again! read more

Wanted to buy a down jacket but the Uniqlo website didn't have my size in stock, the "Find in Store" function showed availability at this Richmond Centre location. Drove 40km there and didn't see that size on the sales floor. Asked an associate and was told there weren't any in the back either despite their inventory shows "8" of that size on hand. Either their inventory system is extremely unreliable or someone didn't know where to look. Complete waste of time and gas. What's the point of having the "Find in Store" feature on the website when it's not even dependable? read more
