The changing rooms at this location are clean and spacious: plenty of hooks and bench space. As an added bonus is that the mirrors are well-lit and flattering. I've always appreciated the friendliness of the staff here. They'll happily check for sizes at other locations, etc. and generally try to help.

I found lots of cute dresses here that I refused to try on, knowing that my credit cards are currently experiencing some swipe-burn. The shoe/boot selection is really limited. Finding something you like here in footwear will be pure chance. For party dresses, sparkling tops, and skirts with a unique cut, I'll definitely be making regular rounds at Lushuz in the future.

Not only did she remember me (i've bumped into her a few times at the shop, but not more then a handful) but she was still the incredibly energetic, totally genuine ball of sunshine that made me RUN home to pen that first review back in January. And so, as a tip of the hat to my top service ninja of the year, I thought it be best to share some new findings at Two of Hearts: 1. Karen has a jewellery line that she sells at the shop! Go buy it and support local crafters and an all around rad person! ...I don't remember the name, because I took a business card and had her write down the specifics on a few pieces. Such organization obviously means I will lose said card within 24 hours. I do however have a note that says: "Sounds like the muppets song Mahna Mahna." Because i'm an adult. So I will take that to the Twitterverse for further investigation. Stay tuned. 2. Hats!! If you are looking for the most fabulous fall hat, go check out the Andre felt hats from Montreal. I debated over mine last January and it is singlehandedly my second favourite purchase of the year (it's tough to compete with the Fiat...) They are an excellent price (under $100), made in Canada and just classic, beautiful pieces. But if you buy the red one in the window before, I will get mad at you. Bonus points: you can't even find this line online for a better price. Tip of the hat 2ofH. 3. Bags! I have beat the s%&t out of my bag over the year - every day, dual laptop wielding and it has survived. Definitely looking a bit worse for wear, but it's held up far better then I expected, considering the price point is so reasonable. They were pretty cute and trendy. As for the service, it was nice enough. I don't really like getting hassled by the service associate so it was great. They carry high-end labels as BA&SH, Free People, and accessories by Sailor Jerry, In God We Trust, and Illume. Zuriick sneakers look hot on the boys and Free Worn tees are so Main Street! Silk tanks by Graham and Spencer are a bit pricey ($300 and over), but the Cheap Denim jeans are not too heavy on the wallet. If you like Valley of the Dolls on Main or Misch on Granville, even Lilly and Jae, you'll love this store.

Most of the merchandise is made Shelley Klassen, the proprietor of Blushing Boutique. Her garments are designed and made in Vancouver, with material being locally sourced. While there's definitely a bit of a retro feel to most of her designs, almost a la Betty Boop, she doesn't strive to alienate her clientele by making them so that they only look good on those with model-esque proportions. Everything here is meant to add a bit of glamour and fun to the everyday woman's everyday wardrobe. Klassen's designs comprise most of the store's merchandise but they also carry Nine West shoes and bags by Canadian company Be Bold.
