Just had the worst experience at the Granville location. I received a gift for the store from my…read moreboyfriend which wasn't my style. To be honest I'm not an avid shopper at noul. I went in today to return as instructed my boyfriend to do. When I told them I wanted to return it the girl at the front desk replied with you can't this is actually a final sale there a sticker right here and she grab the sale tag where there was no sticker as she just stated. Realizing she was wrong said I could get a store credit ( insisting she was doing me a favour). I told her I don't shop here and would like a refund instead. Thats when the store manager stepped and said we can't. And that my boyfriend would have been informed that it was in store credit only. Which he was not. She then said if you want money back, I could go sale it MYSELF the 2 day old dress I never worn. I have never in my life. Please contact me at michayla.agyeman@gmail.com

Noul, formerly Loft 82 is one of my favorite places to shop at. If you are into basics but with a…read moremore flowy, feminine look then this is the place for you. The store is tucked away on Granville St (very close to Urban Outfitters and Brandy Melville). Their selection of clothing always gets me and the prices are reasonable for what you get. I would say the style is similar to aritzia but at a slightly lower price point which is a plus! Because their clothing pieces are slightly more delicate, I always tend to wash them inside a mesh bag or to wash them inside out. It's all about the dainty necklaces here. This is my go-to for dainty and simple necklaces, the quality is good and the styles are great and affordable. From time to time they have accessories sale which ends up being a bargain. Check this place out but be warned, you might leave the store with a bit less in your wallet but in a good way! Recent purchase: Their grey pocket tee is one of the softest tees I've ever owned. A close comparison to the splendid ones that I have yet decided to splurge on! One note: The store doesn't offer refunds and only does exchanges or store credit so be sure to try things on before you make your decision!

I've bought several items here for my husband and they've been really helpful…read more I've now managed to drag my clothes-shopping-averse husband there a few times and he's bought several items too. Yes, their prices are higher than if you're shopping at Winners lol. And sometimes, I don't think it reflects the (lower) quality of some of the materials in some of their clothes. But if you shop there with intention and peruse the sales racks early, you can definitely find good value, because I think most of their stock is good quality.

I've bought two pairs of ~ $200 Japanese raw denim jeans from these guys well over 3 years apart…read more Both times I was impressed by the quality of products on their shelves, their attention to detail and helpful staff. It never seems to be that busy in the store so the staff are able to help you quickly and let you know which piece looks the best on you. They offered me complimentary tailoring to hem the jeans which was great, although the turnaround time was almost 2 weeks. If you were in a rush to wear them then this would be an issue. Overall, I would recommend this spot for quality items at a fair price.

I've had outstanding service from multiple staff members at this location. I do have to shout out…read moreJess in particular, as she is both an exceptional person and sales associate as well, willing to go out of her way to help and offer support. She successfully located a bag I'd been lusting after, and mentioned they had the style of jeans I wanted, but unfortunately they weren't my size. I really appreciate it, as someone who works in customer service and has shopped *occasionally*. It makes a huge difference to have someone who legitimately cares and wants to help make your experience great.

Hi, I went into this store recently and I was disappointed with my experience. The one good thing…read moreis the clothes were so cute and I LOVED the way the store was set up. But as soon as I walked in, no one greeted me or said hi. I walked around for at least 10 minutes picking a handful of clothes and upset that I haven't been acknowledged. The two girls working were talking quite loud of gossip (I didn't care about the details I was just hoping one would notice I'm carrying a pile of clothes). Eventually I just got so tired I said "Can one of you please start me a fitting room", thankfully one of them walked over. As I was browsing the store she did come over once to grab another pile of clothes from me. But no other acknowledgement, no smile or how can I help you? I do understand I look young, I am mixed race, but it's getting absurd that customer service still makes customers feel this way. It was a nice sunny day and I felt so awkward when I feel like I'm bothering staff but barely acknowledging me. And I did notice, every person who walked in after me was greeted and helped. I feel like I look old enough for someone to think I'm in my career, going into a store that I am thankful to afford, and feeling again like I'm a bother in the store. Hopefully service will be better next time.

Horray for suburb malls. I forgot that they have cheaper jeans…read more I got a pair of jeans, and a hoodie 50% off! They don't have a jeans hemming service included, but most stores don't, anyways. The zipper on the hoodie feels a bit weak, but it's been OK for 2 months so far. The fabric is sturdy cotton fine knit, not the kind that overstretches, and I'm happy with my purchase!

I had a super experience with Mavi recently. I had bought a pair of "Johnny" slim jeans a year ago…read morethat I really like because they are 97% cotton with 3% spandex which creates a very comfortable fit. I decided to buy another a couple of pairs at the YVR Outlet store but they didn't have the colors I wanted. And, they also honoured the after-Christmas sale price for 2 pairs! I was very happy - thanks to Shia for the excellent service!

In junior high it was Levis, high school was Guess and Big Star, undergrad was Miss Sixty and post-grad Rock & Republic. Now 30 years old, I'm a Mavi girl. Thank goodness I live right around the corner from my jeans store of choice. Mavi on West 4th is great. Seems like there's always a sale on something and the sales girls are superb. I love how they bag each of your purchases in a reusable cloth bag (great for grocery shopping in your sexy new jeans!) and take the time to come around the cash counter to hand you your goods personally. And the jeans. I don't know why I didn't get into Mavi sooner in life, but I sure am glad I've discovered them now. They fit great, they come in a myriad of styles and - best of all - they REALLY won't cost you an arm and a leg. Every pair I've bought cost me under $100. So long $300 R&Rs - hello Mavi!
