As for the main event, the clothing, the styles are mostly classic (with some welcome twists), the fabrics look and feel expensive, and the cuts are on the slimmer side. You can find everything from t-shirts and chinos to formal suits and sneakers (and pretty much everything in between). And the best part - the prices are actually reasonable. At first, it seemed minor and I assumed it was normal wear. However, by November 2025, I had to replace the jacket because the zipper failed completely and would no longer zip up. I repurchased the same style because I genuinely liked the jacket. Unfortunately, on just the third wear, I started seeing an excessive amount of feathers all over my clothing. Since then, the feather loss has only gotten worse. To make matters more frustrating, the zipper on this replacement jacket has also failed. Both jackets were purchased intentionally with room to layer underneath, so fit was not an issue. At this point, the jacket is essentially unwearable due to severe down leakage and repeated zipper failure. It's disappointing, but I can now understand why this particular jacket is frequently on sale -- the quality simply isn't there.

I was disappointed it was them when I saw what site it was however i noticed they had a pay online pick up in person option. To be honest, I didn't want to deal with the clerk again after that last interaction. So I called first to make sure they were actually there; the clerk physically checked the rack and confirmed the size 38 was in stock. I also asked if a friend could pick them up for me. As long as he can show id the clerk said. I was thrilled I could get the jeans for my bf in the rare size and not have to deal with the snobby clerk. How wrong I was. I paid in full and sent my friend Dave--a carpenter coming from work--to pick them up. ​The second he saw Dave in his work clothes, the runaround started. I got a bizarre email from the clerk "warning" me that the jeans were only available in size 38--the exact size I had already verbally confirmed and paid for. I wrote back yes of course we confirmed this already. . Then they demanded "security" selfies with my ID and credit card. I sent them immediately. I am the cardholder. I wanted the jeans. What is the problem? When Dave went back in with the proof, the story changed again: "Actually, we're out of stock." It is a strange kind of magic when a pair of jeans disappears the moment someone who doesn't fit their "streetwear" aesthetic tries to collect them. The clerk then ignored my calls until I dialed from a different number--he picked up on the first ring. ​When I mentioned they were located in the DTES, he was quick to "correct" me: "Oh, we prefer to call it Chinatown." How gross is that? You want the "cool" factor of the neighborhood while locking the door on the people who actually live in east vancouver. ​If you want high-end gear without the classist filters, go to Livestock. If you want to support a business that actually respects the community, go to Blim Gallery. To the staff at Private & Co: If you want to look down your nose at East Van, move to Yaletown.
