Usually this store is awesome with very friendly and helpful staff. Today, not at all. The employee was absolutely curt with me. I asked if they still carried J Brand jeans. "No" I have a return. "These were on sale so they are non-refundable. Me "oh, okay, I didn't realize they were on sale, thank you." Employee - walked away. Rude Come on - west van aritzia - that was not how you usually work with customers who spend thousands of dollars in a year at your store. read more

The Park Royal Aritzia is MASSIVE. (and that deserved ALL CAPS!). It's one of the biggest Aritzia's, and boy oh boy, is it pretty! They have EVERYTHING. I heart heart heart it here... now if only it wasn't located way on the other side of the world. The staff here is pretty damn amazing as well. Everytime that I haven't been able to find what I am looking for, the staff has bent over backwards trying to track it down for me! Yes, i agree, that you spend a pretty penny when you shop at Aritzia - but you get quality in merchandise and service - so doesn't that make up for it?? read more

I really enjoy shopping at the Park Royal Aritzia. The girls are super sweet and always greet me when I walk in. They ask what I'm looking for and point out great recommendations. Rachel and Alina are very helpful as well! The store is large and very organized. read more

Used to buy all my leggings from Aritzia, but after several of them split at the crotch seam (I don't buy them too tight, they fit comfortably) and ripped further in the fabric after trying to repair them, I've decided to switch. (Also looking to purchase more sustainable fashion but that's beside the point of this review). Also, the sales staff at this location are really rude. Speak to you in a patronizing tone and are often short with customers. I did recently do a return at this store and the woman who processed my return was friendlier than the others, but my experience in the store was still unpleasant overall. If you walk in looking like a normal human who doesn't spend piles of time on their wardrobe/makeup before-hand, you can count on some nasty looks from the staff. Still gave 2 stars because the selection is fantastic and the location is great, if you're into Aritzia, though I'm severing ties with the brand for good after this. TL;DR: Clothing quality isn't great, shopping experience is bad, location is fantastic, selection is pretty good. read more

I came into this store two days ago. I shop here a lot and drop a fair amount of coin at this store. I was unpleasantly surprised by the lack of help or even suboptimal service that I received. Some staff where simply rude and appeared to completely self absorbed. For this reason I walked out without a dent to my wallet. Had I been treated with respect and received some sort of reasonable service I would have left with a few items. I have in the past had superb service here so I was sorely disappointed. I'll try again but if this becomes the norm I will certainly be regularly spending my dollars elsewhere. read more

Do NOT go there. The customer service is terrible. I had bought a jacket from the Pacific Centre branch and wanted to return it, but since this one was closer to me I thought I'd go here. Bad move. The girls working here are pretentious, snobby and rude. I was told by one of them to go home and grab the tag since it had come off, and that they would refund the jacket for me then. I had paid way too much for this jacket (about 350 dollars), and being a college student I needed the money and was willing to walk all the way back. After I came back with the tags (they were on a pin, and easily re-attachable..) and waited in line for 10 minutes or so.. Another girl rudely tells me that she can't refund this, because they can't sell it again. She was extremely rude and obnoxious, even after I told her that her colleague had said they could refund it with the tags. She ignored me and talked to the next costumer. I will never buy from this branch again. I went and returned the jacket to the Pacific Centre branch with no problem the next day. Don't waste your time here. read more

Avoid this store like the plague! Big SALE signs all over the place but when you choose a sale item it's not actually "that colour" that is on sale, or "that style" that is on sale. I chose a bunch of items to try on, but had to have the fitting room clerk change out some sizes for me. I didn't check the tags on the new sizes that the clerk brought me before I paid. I got home and checked my bill - I had been overcharged on 5 out of 6 of my purchases. I went back to the store today to ask for a price correction credit on my VISA and was told that "this colour isn't on sale" or "no, this item was never on sale." I don't really even like one of the shirts that I purchased - I only purchased it because it was on sale and it is a really light weight fabric for the hot weather. It WAS on sale - I would never have otherwise even tried it on. When I explained this to the clerk and the store manager I was told there was nothing they could do. Furthermore, the clerk who rang my items through tried to get me to pay twice not remembering that she had put both copies of the sales slip in her drawer. There was absolutely no helpful customer service when I was shopping and certainly none today when I asked for the credit for the mistaken pricing. Got a lot of, "I'm sorry you feel that way" when I commented that I now have a terrible feeling about the place. The whole place is chaotic, completely unorganized and fraught with potential for mistakes. I feel completely scammed by this place. Don't shop here, but if you HAVE to, make sure that you check your receipt BEFORE you leave the store and don't expect helpful staff. read more

I have been shopping here for the past several years now. Love the clothes and love the service I have received, too. I have always been treated well here and if I have not been satisfied with something I've purchased, I have had no trouble at all returning or exchanging an item. Of course I am careful to make sure I am happy with a purchase I have made before I remove any tags so that I can return it if I decide later that it's not for me. Rachel and Casey are my go to saleswomen and Laura has also helped me. I have received lots of compliments on the outfits they have helped me choose. read more

ARITZIA PARK ROYAL was a surprise to me. I choose to take my Son's wonderful hard working girlfriend for a shopping trip there for her birthday. The sales girls were all great and busy helping all the customers. I spoke with one who was dressed the way I thought my Son's girlfriend would like and she was close to her sizing. She was amazing and brought her so many cool choices. We ended up having a great time and loaded up on several items that looked wonderful on her. I hope she will enjoy them for a long time. AND the real surprise to me was that they have a lot of things that I like for myself so I'll return for my own pleasure. read more

Sometimes you don't get what you pay for. Although Aritzia makes some nice-looking clothes, the quality is just not there. When I pay $95 for a sweater (their Wilfred house line) I don't expect it to get holes in it and pill after wearing it three times. I am careful with my clothes, and they generally last a long time. I took the sweater back to Aritzia at Park Royal and they declined to give me a refund, and said they would have it repaired within a week. Two weeks went by, and I started to phone them. There was never any answer. I finally went to the store and I was told that their phone didn't work (!) and that their regular alterations person was on holiday. I got my sweater back that day though, which makes me wonder if the repairs were even done. I wore the sweater one more time and decided to hand wash it as per the instructions on the tag. I noticed that not only was the original hole coming apart again, there were a couple of new holes and one of the pockets was coming undone. I do NOT place things in the pockets of my sweaters, not even my hands. As the sweater started to dry after washing it, I noticed that there were long, vertical faint brown streaks all over the outside of the cream sweater, but none on the inside. They have not gone away. I am assuming it's a fault of the dye. I will wash the sweater inside out this time -- by the way, I washed this sweater with an inexpensive white cotton sweater and it had NO streaks on it, inside or out -- but I'm not optimistic. I am happy with a pair of black skinny pants I bought there at the same time, but I do not intend to shop at a store that refuses refunds within the time it is supposed to give them, and comes up with lame excuses. I could try to take the sweater back again but I have a feeling I'll be accused of washing it incorrectly. After 30 years of washing my clothes without incident, I don't need the grief. They've lost a customer, and I'm already telling all of my friends about it. They should have replaced the sweater immediately or better yet, given me a refund. My el cheapo white cotton sweater is 5 years old and is still in excellent condition. I won't confuse style with value again. read more

Breanne helped me at the changing room, very nice, honest and helpful. I took my purchases to the line and the lady in front of me was exchanging and buying some items, it was taking a while but it wasn't an issue. A lady went behind me in line and another sales person went to go talk to her about what she had decided on, she completely ignored me and told the lady to just follow her and she'll ring her in on the other side. I continued to wait in the line. When the lady in front of me finally finished the girl at the counter apologized for the wait, I explained to her what had just happened and although I was only buying some leggings I felt completely disrespected. She stated that the other girl must have not seen me (not possible) I already am uncomfortable shopping since having my son and I've been trying to spend a gift card I received as a gift for park royal.... Won't be spending it here... Very rude sales person. Commission sales clearly... Lost a customer for life. read more
