She was incredibly unfriendly, belittled choices made, made unwanted comments, and within hearing distance of myself and my friend accused a woman of wearing a garment before returning it, even though the price tags were exposed on the outside. With all the wonderful places to shop at in Vancouver, a clothing store, or any store, needs to be at the top of their game when it comes to service and this place is a real loser and not one I will ever frequent again! I'm from out of the country and stumbled in not expecting to hit a gold mine! I love love love the brands and products they carry. Whoever your merchandiser(s) are they do a really good job selecting product that's very in, timeless, unique, and best of all good quality. I enjoyed shopping here so much that I visited 2 other of their locations that same day! The end of season sale was AMAZING. I found stunning pieces for a very good price. The customer service was also spectacular. PLEASE OPEN SHOP IN THE UNITED STATES! I've had such trouble finding a one-stop shop for men's clothes that's good quality, hip, and unique. I especially enjoyed seeing pieces that I've never seen in stores, made my experience very exciting and refreshing. Keep up the awesome product selections and great sales! I should mention I probably wouldn't shop here if it weren't for the sales, their products are a bit pricey BUT they are very good quality.

I'm sure many a boyfriend or hubby wouldn't mind chilling there with a magazine in hand while waiting for their partner. The beautiful decor of the store & large selection of product available at this location makes finding the fashion pieces I want such a breeze! Will definitely be back again soon!

I purchased a puffer jacket that I really loved in November or December 2024. Shortly after buying…read moreit, I began noticing a few feathers on my clothing. At first, it seemed minor and I assumed it was normal wear. However, by November 2025, I had to replace the jacket because the zipper failed completely and would no longer zip up. I repurchased the same style because I genuinely liked the jacket. Unfortunately, on just the third wear, I started seeing an excessive amount of feathers all over my clothing. Since then, the feather loss has only gotten worse. To make matters more frustrating, the zipper on this replacement jacket has also failed. Both jackets were purchased intentionally with room to layer underneath, so fit was not an issue. At this point, the jacket is essentially unwearable due to severe down leakage and repeated zipper failure. It's disappointing, but I can now understand why this particular jacket is frequently on sale -- the quality simply isn't there.

Hi, I went into this store recently and I was disappointed with my experience. The one good thing…read moreis the clothes were so cute and I LOVED the way the store was set up. But as soon as I walked in, no one greeted me or said hi. I walked around for at least 10 minutes picking a handful of clothes and upset that I haven't been acknowledged. The two girls working were talking quite loud of gossip (I didn't care about the details I was just hoping one would notice I'm carrying a pile of clothes). Eventually I just got so tired I said "Can one of you please start me a fitting room", thankfully one of them walked over. As I was browsing the store she did come over once to grab another pile of clothes from me. But no other acknowledgement, no smile or how can I help you? I do understand I look young, I am mixed race, but it's getting absurd that customer service still makes customers feel this way. It was a nice sunny day and I felt so awkward when I feel like I'm bothering staff but barely acknowledging me. And I did notice, every person who walked in after me was greeted and helped. I feel like I look old enough for someone to think I'm in my career, going into a store that I am thankful to afford, and feeling again like I'm a bother in the store. Hopefully service will be better next time.

If you discover, as I recently have, that I was sold a damaged item, then you might not have any recourse in getting the charge reversed with your credit card company if the receipt is not itemized. MY EXPERIENCE. In late August 2020, I spent $750 on 4 pieces of clothing at Yamazaki in West Vancouver. I recently discovered damage on one of those pieces - a jacket that I haven't even worn yet. There are broken threads - not done by me - on its back which was done prior to me purchasing it because it's been on a hanger in my closet for the past 2 months! Perhaps a customer's ring caught on a thread and caused the damage. I don't know. The store doesn't have a 3-way mirror, so you can't inspect the back of a piece of clothing 360º at the store, and my long hair might have covered the damage on its back so I couldn't see it. The owner told me it was FINAL SALE. Its price? Over $200! For a damaged piece of clothing! It is obvious that the owner is fastidious, so I am wondering if the owner knew the jacket was damaged and wanted to sell it as soon as possible because, oddly, it was the first piece of clothing he chose for me to try on. On another piece he sold me, he gave me a price that he later charged me $25 more for. I want to support local small businesses but my faith in Yamazaki has been destroyed.
