That should have been a red flag for me right there. But instead I gave her my business card and the dress and left the store, not feeling right about it. I went back in six weeks, and she didn't know what I was talking about, and said she wouldn't have taken any clothes without me signing a contract. She finally found my name written in her book, but had no idea where the dress was or even if she had it. She told me to come back in a week. I came back and she still said she didn't know anything about it. I described the dress in detail, but she was just very curt with me. Wendy took my phone number again, and said she would call me when she found it. Well, of course she never called me. I never got my $250 dress back nor did I get paid for it. I felt I couldn't push it as there was no contract and she kept denying she had the dress. I have learned from that - always get it in writing, but I feel as though she stole my dress from me. I would never bring anything there on consignment again and would warn anyone who wants to bring anything there. I won't even shop there again, as she is unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude.

Another young girl was about to try on a pair of pants, and the worker said, "you do realize that those are a size zero?" The girl pointed out very kindly that the tag said they were a size 8. The worker rudely asked if she looked at the waistline and aggressively told her that she's been doing this for 35 years. The store is tiny, so everyone could hear her commenting on these women's bodies. This store is not worth your time or money.

The prices were very fair for the quality, every dress I tried on was under $200. When I was there I was the only person in the store, so I felt very comfortable when I was trying on dresses in front of the manager and my boyfriend. She was so sweet, very helpful and gave me heels to wear when I was looking in the mirror. She helped me chose my dress and was perfectly on the line between giving me time and space to decide, but also telling me how gorgeous the dresses looked. I felt no pressure to purchase, but when you try the right dress on, you know! She also had shoes in store that we very modestly priced, a cute pair of loafers only $40. Other, short dresses were more copious around the store, as well as jewelry and tops. I didn't have time to explore all the racks, but any upcoming occasion I have I will no doubt be returning here first. Cheapest prices, cutest, trendiest clothes and the sweetest girl running it all. Definitely recommend you giving this place a try. The only downside to this place is that it's not a chain, so if it's not on the racks it's not available, but I actually really like that. I really appreciated that he cared. it was clear his goal was customer comfort and wearability. There was no pressure when I said I'd think about it as I was checking out a few places and this was the first. And he said he'd put it aside for a few days no problem. I found that refreshing. And I have bought a couple pairs from there and even with a discount and they are the most comfortable shoes that not only look stylish but also are soo comfortable, Dansk brand.
