Very expensive for what you get, not a lot of filling if you get a calzone. Better off getting a pizza instead.

We stopped ordering from Mark's because we didn't like the sauce and we felt they were stingy on toppings.

The asparagus in particular was overly salty and also a little soggy for my liking. I prefer my asparagus to have a bit of a crunch. I also ordered the Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip. The pita bread that came with it was very soft and fresh--really good. The dip itself was good as well, but again, just a little too salty for me. The Brussels were ok the flavor wasn't all over it and it was a bit buttery or something... On a positive note, they have some really good appetizers. The barbecue chicken bites are really good, and the shrimp on the appetizer menu (with the peppers) is definitely a standout. 9/10 Looking back, I probably would have tried something like the rice pilaf with shrimp and a potato--that looked like a more balanced option. Overall, LongHorn is a place I would come to more for the appetizers. I would just recommend they lighten up on the salt. It's not my favorite place, but it's good, and I would come back.

Even though we had a pretty big party on a Friday evening, we were seated within five minutes, and the service was very good and quick. I read up on the menu and discovered they offered lamb chops which is one of my absolute favourites. A taste of home for me! Friendly and efficient staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. So far so good. Very nice young woman looked after us. My wife ordered the rigatoni and I had the chops. She loved her rigatoni so much she's finishing it off 2 days later and still loving it. Sadly my dish was a bit of a disappointment. My two large chops were extremely fatty. It's the kind you simply can't cut through on a slippery plate. Trying to separate what little meat there was from the fat was impossible so I had to give up and bring it home to a cutting board and an extremely sharp knife. I haven't tried to eat it yet but it looks as fatty as the first. Both had been totally covered by a condiment that I think should have been served in a separate container to allow the diner to regulate the amount desired. The base was a pilf which made trying to cut the chops even more difficult because every time the meat or the knife slipped, the table was showered with grains....all a bit slapstick....! As I previously said, my wife loved her meal and the previous visit was epic so I hate to criticise but I'm just trying to be honest and fair. I think $45 for a couple of very fatty chops with not much meat and smothered in a vinaigrette you might not like is a bit cheeky... In different circumstances I would have sent it back. Oh well, you live and learn...

We arrived to a busy atmosphere that quieted down throughout the night. We started with cocktails which were strong and delicious. The brussel sprout appetizer was to die for, who knew that brussel sprouts go well with blue cheese! I ordered the salmon dish which was incredible. My friend enjoyed the Greek chicken dish. We were disappointed we didn't have enough room for dessert so we'll just have to come back! Other notes: the service was friendly and there was extra parking across the street if necessary. I can't wait to be back to try their specials and seasonal menus

Rest assured, that is not the case when it comes to Stone Creek. From the moment we walked through the front door the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The decor/ ambiance was a pleasant mix between relaxed/casual to upscale. Nothing fancy or pretentious, but welcoming and inviting. Although I'm a local I've not eaten here until tonight...a point I regret. I'm a steak snob that often finds numerous faults in a steak I get in a restaurant knowing I could do better at home. This was not the case tonight. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, was full of flavor, tender and juicy. That alone would bring me back for more, but the mushroom cream I had as a side was spectacular and took my experience to an all never level of enjoyment. My wife had the seared ahi tuna with a duck confetti fried rice. I sampled it...another success story there. I've read plenty of reviews about the price...but I'm here to tell you that the $ is in perfect alignment with the quality, flavor and portions received. I have ZERO negative comments and for the sake of brevity I can only say this.....I WILL BE BACK!!!

This place makes the best "slice" of pizza. Not really pizza, but focaccia in a pizza-like style reminiscent of Sicilian style pizza. What sets this piece of tomato, dough, and cheese apart is the magic that happens between the layers. There's a middle layer on top of a perfectly crispy bottom and below the extremely tasty cheese top that is both flavorful and has the most pleasing texture. Put it all together with a little charred pepperoni and you got heaven on Earth; truly a spectacular "slice." Also available plain or with sausage. I had mine at room temperature. Soooooo good. Take it from the Pizza Maven. They got something REALLY special here. BTW, the wraps were very good, too. Nicely grilled chicken in a soft wrap stuffed with fresh veggies, fresh mozzarella, almonds, & even strawberries. It worked out to be an interesting, delicious combination. But, when I go back (and I'm going back sooner than later) it's going to be focaccia all the way. Thank you Mixing Bowl for showing me the light in the darkness of the Syracuse pizza world.
