On our way back from a long day trip, the wife got the idea in her head that instead of getting our usual, delicious go-to pizza from our usual place, she wanted to try something different. I begged her to reconsider. I do not take choosing where to get pizza and wings lightly. It's very easy to get bad pizza. But, hey, they have five stars. Must be good, right? Let's give it a try, she says... Mistake. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and 20 wings. Little hole in the wall shop, which we usually love. We took a peek inside the box on the way home to see what the pizza looked like...we weren't feeling confident about the choice from the looks of it. It looked premade and cheap, but we stayed optimistic. Mistake. We got home and dug in. The pizza was AWFUL. Some of the worst pizza I've ever had. Now, I'll admit...we are NOT a fan of thick crust pizza and didn't know that theirs was thick crust...but even so, it was still pretty bad. Heavy, dense, DRY crust that had just no flavor at all to it. It reminded us both of old school lunch pizza, in taste and look. The kinda stuff they put out at Chinese buffets for kids. They also arranged the pepperoni so there was only one straight strip of pepperoni directly up the middle of each slice, which was just...odd. The wings, on the other hand, were pretty good. I'm a harsh judge of wings and I felt they were cooked perfectly and flavorful, good hot sauce. The wings are the only reason they're getting any stars. We would definitely not go back. Their wings are good, but unless you wanna stroll down memory lane to the days of elementary school, I'd stay away from the pizza. Especially when you realize you just paid $30 for a nostalgia trip. read more

I used to order from here several times a month. I loved their meatball parm & my husband liked the steak& cheese. I heard new owners took over so decided to order those subs yesterday. I wasted $25.+ and will not be ordering again. The subs used to be fat and full of meat and bread was always fresh. They cut meat way down and the bread was terrible. It was very thin, like it didn't have time too raise and it tasted rubbery sorta undercooked or something and didn't look good at all. I will not be ordering again. Very bad subs.!!! read more

In a city with a deluge of pizza shops, Mr. Pizza takes the pie! (Pun intended!) They have the absolute best chicken wing pizza in Central New York and I say that after sampling chicken wing pizza whenever I can. It is offered in many sizes, but I recommend the half sheet if you are feeding four because it ensures leftovers for later on. Have someone that doesn't like blue cheese? No problem, they make it with ranch. Have someone that wants the blue cheese? No problem, they will half and half it and THEN mark the box so you know which side to grab. Best Sicilian pizza hands down- the pepperoni and sausage is a good back up if not in the mood for chicken wing. Don't get me started on the subs and wings! The cheese steak is to die for and is on the delicious bread that they have. Delivery is quick and always courteous. So very glad the Gentilcore's are back manning the ovens. read more

Was a big fan when they first opened up, but the food quality has been going downhill fast. Ordered a fish sandwich and fries as usual on a Friday and the fish was overcooked and dried out not to mention they messed up the actual order itself. Well, my initial review accidentally got deleted when I tried to correct a spelling mistake, so I will get right to it and make this one short... The Lot: Tiny, with a bench that looks like it doesnt belong. The Seating inside: 2 Small tables with a few chairs. So little seating I question if there is a point to sit and wait. The Space Inside for Customers: Cramped, more space could be added if the tables and chairs were removed. Accommodations: Plenty of soda and chips, with a nice surprise of baked bread. A small tv in the corner. Now before you think this review is being way too critical, please dont, as the things stated before were tiny things that really only matter to pickier people, but still should be noted. Now to the part that actually means anything, the service and food. I wanted to like this place, and almost added 2 more stars because i thought this would be too critical, but in the end, I could not overlook these pretty upsetting things. Staff: OHHHHHHHHH BOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYY.... this is gonna be a complicated matter so if you get confused, I don;t blame you. So here are the staff I remember. *I'll describe each one with physical features, as I dont know their names. Skinny Teenage Brat: I'm going to sound like my mother, but god damn she looked like should couldn't give 2 poops about the place. She didn't even look like an employee. She was dressed in some sweatshirt and hair up. And ALL she was doing was TEXTING. Short Woman ( the shortest one there): Good God all she seemed to do was whine. I could hear it from behind the counter. She seemed to be working, but just seemed so mean. I was hoping she would NOT be the one to take my order. She is reason 1 why I gave this place 1 star Short Dark Haired Teen: She was the one who talked with me and took my order. She had a brace on her arm, I guess maybe she fell or something on it. She's part of the reason I DECIDED to give ANY stars. She seemed to work hard and was very polite to me. Taller Short Haired Woman: She seemed serious, but not so mean. HE is part 2 of why I gave this place 1 star. The Food: Complicated as well Let me start off with saying their wings were great, better than my mother's, but she doesn't have to know ;) . Great flavor with a mild heat that doesn't sear off your tongue and is not DRENCHED in sauce, so I'm happy for that. But the pizza; the food item that makes the establishment a PIZZA SHOP. Well to put it lightly, Dominos has more flavor than that, and I HATE Dominos.... The crust tasted stale, the sauce was more like paste, and gosh darn it the cheese looked like it was days old. I sort of want to blame the mean man because he seemed to be the one handling pizzas (but also because he HIMSELF seemed like an ass) I didn't taste ANY SPICES.... NONE NADA ZILCH NOTHING! This is the third reason I gave this 1 star. Would I come back here? Maybe, if the guy wasn't there, and the short woman would stop being whiny. Also if the pizza had actually any flavor. *I should note there was another man there, normal height and looked mid 20s, not sure if he was a supervisor, but sir if you see this review, FIRE THAT OLDER MAN, HE'S SO RUDE AND MADE ME WANT TO LEAVE THE MINUTE I HEARD HIS VOICE. THOSE 2 HARDWORKING WOMEN ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT SEEM TO KEEP THAT PLACE AFLOAT! THE SKINNY TEEN AND SHORT ANGRY WOMEN DIDNT HELP THE SITUATION I do hope to visit this place again and get better food and a calmer atmosphere. My favorite pizza in Auburn. Nice thick crispy crust. We usually get a large sheet pizza loaded with toppings. The wings are awsome- try the garlic parmesan! Great big antipasto salads are a marvelous addition to the meal. You can't go wrong with this place. read more
