We came here three times in a week during September 2021. I should have done a review then, and when scrolling through my pics, was shocked I hadn't written anything. The food, the ambiance, the service - all were top-notch. I couldn't get enough of this thin crispy pizza that was beautifully topped and balanced for flavor. The wings - forget about it. Our service at the bar was everything you could ask for - friendliness, attention, and humor. This place for me was what my first trip to Syracuse was all about. Love! Love! Love Twin Trees III! I have been going (from Liverpool) to this location for more than 40 years. Yes, the restaurant has changed over the years. It just became larger and larger. The food and service has not suffered. Portions are large. My husband told me that as a child his neighbor would drive 22 miles from Pennellville to pickup a togo pizza and drive 22 miles back home. My husband's mother said her neighbor was crazy. I know she wasn't. The pizza is that good! Every time I come home to Syracuse, I have to stop in and have the best pizza around! read more

The menu terms are confusing in relation to which drinks are included in the listed menu price. The pitcher of beer they list as "included", may not really be included. For over 27 years my husband's family has gone to Twin Trees in North Syracuse on Good Friday. We stopped for a couple years because my mother-in-law did not like the sauce, after it changed. But my mother-in-law passed away this year. So 11 of us went on Good Friday back to Route 11 in her memory. The service was the worst we had ever had. Granted I know that it is Good Friday. We had reservations. They sat us no problem. It was over a half an hour of sitting there before someone asked us if we would like a drink. And then it would be another 20 minutes before we got the drinks. And then it was another half hour before they took our orders. We were there for two hours and 10 minutes before the food came out. We were told that they only had two waitresses on the side that we were on ( opposite the bar ). And we could see that they were busy. But, schedule more people to work, it's Good Friday. And you could see one of the owners going around and talking to people at tables. Nobody ever came to our table. Nobody came back around and said, would any of you like another drink or a refill. That was the worst service we have ever gotten there. We will never go back there again. my husband did not skimp on the tip. My husband paid 270.00 for five adults and two children. Ordered cheese pizza with plain wings mild sauce on the side, as hubby thinks mild wings is too hot?! Pizza crust is perfectly cooked, love the crunch. Sauce yummy. Wings were a tad over cooked but love the outside crunch. Blue cheese was also served with wings. Went early cause this place fills up fast on Fridays. Took my family of 5 plus my daughter's friend to dinner recently. The food was good, the 4 kids ate pizza, I had ziti and my husband had the chicken parm. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The reason for the low rating is that in the main dining area there was a large tv and it was playing a Frump rally. People are out to dinner to enjoy themselves. They should not be subjected to the political views of the restaurant owner. If a tv is on it should be on something neutral like sports. I will not return to this restaurant. read more

This is my favorite pizza and wing place around. I'm from Colorado and when I come visit I always order and extra and take it home with me on the plane. I have been here many times and it is always consistent. The same pizza and wings I had the first time is the same great pizza and wings I got this last time I went. The crust is the right size, it's not thin, but it also is not too thick. Perfect cheese/sauce to dough ratio. Now the wings are just as amazing. It is almost like they cook the wings in the sauce so the wings have a delicious flavor without being drenched in a liquid sauce. The wings are good size and very juicy. The skin is crisp and baked perfect. Also, the flavor is great. I do not like really spicy so I get the medium and it is a perfect combination of flavor and spice for me. For those of you who love hot, get the hot wings and I have heard that sauce is hot. Everyone who loves hot wings loves these hot wings. They also have delicious garlic wings, but I enjoy the buffalo. They have a special you can get that is a pizza, 12 or 24 wings and a pitcher of your choice of soda or beer for relatively cheap. The atmosphere is very casual and I always get great service. I recommend trying the pizza and wings if you have not been here. You will not be disappointed. read more

I'm going to begin with the only positive that I noticed which is that the pizza itself is a good quality Pizza. That being said they lie to their customers, they pull a bait and switch by offering you mild and medium wings but using the same exact sauce which is not mild versus medium they just put more sauce on their mediums which the whole point in mild versus medium is that a mild is a milder amount of capsaicin and medium has a higher capsaicin count so they're literally lying to their customers and trying to convince you that you're getting something you're not. I personally will never be ordering from these guys again read more

My Family and I had been traveling all day to visit my very ill Mother who lives in North Syracuse. We arrived with 3 very hungry kids. Since I spent my summers as a child hanging out with my cousins on Maxwell Ave. I knew Twin Trees III well. I was excited to bring my kids to experience some of my childhood. It was Friday night so it was quite busy. We were directed to the host stand. The first teenage host instructed us to wait. He came back after setting a table with another hostess who then instructed us that it would be a 20 min wait. There was no one else waiting and there were visibly many tables opened. I asked if we could be seated in the bar at one of the booths and The hostess very dismissively brushed the suggestion off by saying "no we are not putting 5 people in a booth." My kids are 12, 11 and 9 there is no reason that couldn't have been done. It literally felt like these people did not want my family to eat here. This is definitely not the place I remember growing up. It makes me sad that people in the service industry no longer take pride in hospitality and customer service. We have been eating at Twin Trees for years but lately each time we go (to Twin Trees III or the one in Cicero) there has been issues. Today my husband and I went to have a nice lunch at Twin Trees III and I ordered a fish sandwich and the salad bar, the salad bar was excellent but the fish sandwich, was very disappointing. It was small and barley covered the bun. Both the waitress and the manager came over to our table and said they knew it was small but they couldn't do anything about it. Good thing I had the salad bar because the whole entree was so small. We also have noticed that the restaurant has been empty whenever we go. It used to be so lively. We noticed it at both locations.
