The driest pizza I've ever had. We stopped in after baseball ... no one there ... walked up to the counter , the girl asked if we wanted slices and seemed annoyed... we ordered six slices and grabbed some sodas. Turn to sit down and two of the booths had pizza boxes on them and two had garbage on the .... I removed the garbage from one and wiped the table with the half empty broken napkins in the napkin holder. We're not regulars of Gemelli's, but we checked the place out a few times. This is some of the best quality pizza we've found in Syracuse. Like most of the greats though, you're going to pay for it. First of all, their menu is fully loaded for a pizzeria. Any side, sub or salad that's ever accompanied pizza is on the menu here. They've got a great selection of specialty pizzas too. The pizzas on the menu are priced at medium, but where else can you upgrade to a NY Style 18"? The leftover slices barely fit into our fridge. The first time we went, we combined the chicken parm and eggplant parm pizzas. It was phenomenal - exactly what we were going for. Breaded chicken and egg plant together at last. We got an 18", and I think we paid about $35.00 for it. The wings were also top notch, but $1.59 / wing is a hard sell at any quality. We came back at some point to try a standard pepperoni. We got it in 18" because we're not terrible people. The pizza is pretty thin without specialty toppings, but the ratios are all right. Just the right amount of greasy, cheese is soft without being too rubbery, dough is thin without being too weak. This is the kind of pizza we like to douse with all the shakers until it's beyond recognition. We'd ditch most other places for Gemelli's if we could pay $50+ every time we got pizza. It tops most places in quality, but the gap isn't usually big enough to cover the extra cost. read more

Gemelli's is some of the best pizza I have had! I think one the best in the Syracuse area. The pizzas are always cooked perfect and the ingredients are fresh and very tasty. Definitely worth a try and once you try them you will be hooked! Gemelli's is the only place I will be ordering pizza from for now on! Terrible experience tonight. After placing my delivery order at 5:35p I was told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. (About 6:20). At 6:55p I called to see where my food was and was told there was a "printer error" and my order was delayed but would be ready soon. My pizza and wings arrived about 10 minutes later and the only thing worse than the wait was the food. The pizza was not even luke warm and the wings were just as cold. I specifically asked they be "crispy" and they were rubbery. We have been long time customers and to say we are disappointed at our dinner and lack communication would be an understatement. We will be going to Pies Guys or Sardos moving forward. This meal from you guys was not worth any wait. read more

Gemelli's seems to have worked the kinks out of its relatively new business. Its 18" thin-crust pizza is outstanding. Thursday night's staff was friendly & service was quick. The chicken wings were ordered "crisp" & were some of the best around. Ordering "extra crispy" in the past resulted in them being dry. While I didn't order wings this week, I did note that a prior order's wing size was smaller than usual? Not sure if that was a permanent change. Will upgrade to 5-star rating if the decreased wing size was temporary. read more

So I had this pizza at Asils pub, and I asked where they got it from...it was from this place up by OCC. I was amazed at how good it was...many other very good pizza places in the Camillus area...this one is superior to them all. The ingredients are super fresh, we had a supreme today and the veggies that were on it were fantastic and the pizza itself was not greasy, even with all the toppings on it. We also ordered a large cheese, and it was packed with flavor. I would highly recommend giving this place a shot, you will not be disappointed. read more

I am THOROUGHLY impressed by this new business on O-Hill. The first time I ordered from here I received the wrong type of wings (bone in VS boneless- not a huge deal I just was looking for a quicker less messy option that day on my lunch break) however these might honestly might be the best wings I've ever had. They were perfectly crispy (without even ordering them that way) and the sauce was out of this world. One of my favorites. (I also have to mention I reached out when my order was incorrect and the next time I called there was a credit for a free order of wings on my account!) Tonight I got a calzone which to my surprise was like a giant stuffed garlic knot, the dough was so soft and perfect, cooked to perfection and topped with butter, garlic & parm. This has become my go-to place for food at work and are superior to Sardos, Velasko and the previous building occupant Froggers. Staff is friendly, the place is clean and up to date. Arrive to pick up my order and discovered that there is a special where the large is $3 cheaper than the medium. We placed an order for delivery on Saturday night .. after about an hour (and 15 mins past the original delivery time) I called to see how much longer it would be. I was told the driver left a few minutes before I called so another 10-15 minutes .. when the food arrived, the tuna melts we ordered were missing so we called back; we were told they were out of tuna and had refunded us. While appreciative for the refund, there were now two people who didn't have dinner. No one called to tell us they were out of tuna or to see if there was something else we wanted to add to the order to replace the melts. They need to learn a thing or two about customer service. They send out flyers however they don't honor them. Their flyers offer specials for pizza and wings however when we went to pay we learned that it was for boneless wings only (they left that off the flyer). They also should put expiration dates on their flyers because we had a coupon for free garlic knots and they weren't going to honor it. When we arrived they made an error with our wings so they had to re do our entire order. I'm not sure if it was the owner or the manager who we asked to rectify the situation but he made no accommodations. If they keep up the poor service they won't remain open much longer. read more

We ordered a large pizza and 10 wings (char-grilled). The bill came to $26.99. The order was ready when we arrived. The place was clean and included Covid-19 spacing markers and the staff was very friendly. The pizza dough was a slow-rise crust (good) but the crust itself did not have a lot of flavor. The sauce and the toppings were good. I liked that the pizza did not have grease on the top. Overall the pizza is better than average (so very good but not great). We ordered the wings without sauce so we could really taste them. They were on the large size but were over cooked. This is a clear example of the employees not tasting their own product and relying on the sauce to give the wings moisture. Overall, I would recommend the pizza but hold off on the wings. read more

I used to order from Frogger. This business took over when they closed. I was unsure about the business but decided to give it a chance since it is so close to my home and they deliver. I ordered chicken tenders and fries and a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. The woman that answered the phone was very personable and friendly. She answered my questions very easily and with patience. She told me to give them 30 minutes for delivery. The food showed up within the 30 minutes and the driver was very nice. The food came piping hot. The chicken tenders were decent size and I was given a ton of fries. But the quesadilla stole the show. It was filled with chicken and bacon and was grilled perfectly. I also asked for extra sauces and was given the correct amount. Most times I order delivery they seem to always forget the dip LOL. I am so very glad that I gave this new business a chance. Not only will I be ordering again but I am very excited to try some of their other items on their menu. read more

This place has pretty good food and large portions, which would make it a great place to order from if they weren't so unorganized. My family orders from here pretty often, but it's becoming a pattern now that they will tell you your food will be ready in 45 minutes, and it won't actually be ready for an hour and a half. I honestly wouldn't mind waiting an hour and a half for the food if they were upfront about the wait when you call. It becomes a problem when you order at 6:30, you're told your food will be ready at 7:15, and at almost 8:00 the workers in front try to claim your food was never supposed to be ready at 7:15. To top it off this is not the first time the delay was caused by them getting our order mixed up and not telling us until we asked about the long wait. They also forgot part of our order. It was clear while we waited that we weren't the only people this was happening to. It's disappointing because again they have good food, but they can't seem to fix the issues with their takeout process and end up with a lot of unhappy people waiting. read more
