This place is amazing!! Friendly staff and great service. The guy who delivered our pizza was so nice, I didn't catch his name, but such a nice guy! hands down the best pizza I've had! We got pizza and boneless bbq wings both were so good!! the boneless wings were actually huge pieces. The pizza slices were huge. All was nice and hot! I ordered pizza and wings. The wings came with nothing on them. I ordered pizza to be crispy on the bottom. It was soggy. When I called back about the disgusting wings with nothing on them, they could not refund my money or do anything for me other than to redeliver them in another 30 minutes. I have three hungry kids here and I can't wait 30 minutes for another episode like this. They won't refund my money. And when I spoke to the woman on the phone tonight December 2. She told me a manager would call me back tomorrow and I asked when and who and she hung up on me. The pizza I ordered is subpar. It's supposed to be New York style and it's not obviously who's cooking over. There is not paying attention to the orders. If I don't hear back from a manager tomorrow I'll make a worse review cuz I could say other things about the pie guys. I don't think they want me to do that. I'm so disappointed in the pizza and the wings are not even worth eating. They went right in the garbage. They're disgusting. But they can't give me a refund. But they can send me more wings and another 30 minutes when I'll probably be asleep. Maybe they could have made them right the first time? Maybe they could have paid attention to the order. I don't know anyone that just orders plain boneless wings charred grilled without any anything on them. There might be people out there and maybe I got someone else's order. Who knows. But I'll keep this post up until I hear from the manager and get my refund. Being hung up on is another big deal. When I called back I went to a voicemail that couldn't receive voicemails. I know what goes on over there. I know why my order wasn't right. And if I don't get a refund on those wings, I'm keeping this post up and then I'll post more. Terrible dining experience overall. I mean to wait for your food and then you get it and it's wrong and by the time you eat it it's no good anymore.??? I don't even want any of the order. It's gone bad by now. . I just read all the reviews on pies guys and there's a lot of negative ones and if you want to know why they're negative I can tell you. I know about the pies guys and I don't think they want me saying anything about them and their back business so somebody better get back to me about my order. I order a pizza and it was supposed to be delivered within an hour. I waited 2 hours and called the place up and this kid gets on the phone who I couldn't make up what he was saying as I couldn't understand him. I asked him to repeat it and but just made a gunting noise. I kept on screaming hello are you there and this idiot didn't answer. He had to hear or he was deaf. It was both. So I hung up and called again. This time I got a lady and told her where is my pizza. She was just like the guy and maybe she didn't speak English as I couldn't understand what she was saying. I finally had to cancel it. The guy did cancel it but not before telling me the guy was outside my house. I looked out the window and he was lying as no one was there. I got two other people who called my house asking if I wanted to cancel it. I wish they would have stopped calling. Anyway I won't do business with these nutty and sick people again. I know people can be rude and obnoxious, but you don't think you will meet them until you experience them. So this review is to let others know that they should save their time, money and frustration in dealing with this type of sh**. read more

I was over in the East Wood area of Syracuse today and found myself truly aching for a quick bite to eat and found this pizza place as a shining star in an area that didn't seem to have a ton of quick fix eateries. I came in and was able to order by the slice. So I picked up a slice of cheese and chicken bacon ranch. The cheese was ok. It wasnt bad at all but not really much out of the ordinary. The CBR however, was really good and ranks on the higher end of my list of CBR pizzas. The chicken was chunky and the sauce was tangy. One of the stars of the experience today was the price! I was able to get 2 slices of pizza and a can of soda for only 5$! This is a great place for a quick lunch! read more

TLDR: Great fish fry, not so great service, inaccurate website. I ordered the fish fry with well-done fries. I placed the order over the phone, and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. When I arrived 15 minutes later, they had not even started working on the order. I sat around in the tiny storefront waiting for close to 20 minutes for them to make it. So, minus 1 star. Fortunately, the fish fry they produced was very good. Crispy exterior and well cooked. The fries were excellent; very crispy and crunchy exterior. The meal included a generously-sized container of Ken's tarter sauce, two small cups of cole slaw(mediocre, but inoffensive), and a huge roll. I wouldn't call it a dinner roll. More of a small sub roll. So, if you wanted to turn your fish fry into a fish sandwich, you could certainly do that. I've tried a number of different fish fries in Syracuse, and I'd have to say that this is one of the best. If you order fish frys at the Fish Cove or CJ's, you may want to give this one a shot. I do have one more complaint. On their website, they have menu pages for various categories. http://piesguyspizzeria.com/fish-fry/ On the "Fish Fry" section, they have a picture labeled "Fish Fry". It clearly shows a beer-battered fish fry, not a breaded fish fry. So, when I ordered, I was expecting to receive a beer-battered fish fry. This did not happen. If you're looking for a beer-battered fish fry(which seem to be extremely rare in the Syracuse area), look elsewhere. Minus one more star for lying to customers/false advertising. Food is great but service needs a over-haul. I called to place a order and was immediately put on hold. After five minutes I decided to drive to location. Still on hold. When I arrived there were no customers. It was now 29 minutes. Was told they were very busy. I previously ordered the $5 for two slices of pizza and a soda - waited (looked dried up in their little display area) for them to be warmed up, 10 minutes. Nothing special in the taste/texture and a little too "spicy" for my taste. So, never the pizza again for me. So, about a week later I thought I'd try one of there LAMB GYRO sandwichs ($7.55). Waited for about 15 - 20 minutes for it to be ready! Drove home about 15 minutes, and it wasn't lamb, or hot! But, two of some kind of sliced processed no-taste meat, smothered in sauce and lettuce/tomato chunks. Never again! You can get a better GYRO sandwich at ARBY's for a lot less, fast and it's hot! Sometimes they have a 2 for $6.00 deal too! The only real lamb gyro I've found in the Syracuse area is at King David's Greek food in the Fayetteville plaza - great stuff!, go there instead! read more

Last time I ordered delivery, they said an hour and were there in 35 minutes! Less than satisfied with the amount of toppings and cheese on our chicken bacon ranch pie, and our supreme. Lots of chicken and not much bacon or flavor. The supreme had no peppers or onions on it! Both very greasy, and wasn't impressed with the crust. Will not be going back. I ordered my food as I always do from pies guys, liverpool route 57 location. I ordered an hour a head and scheduled a pick up I arrived food was not ready and staff was making rude comments under their breath. The owner approached me as an attempt to intimidate me which did not work at all. I left a tip like I always do anyway he called me back to the kitchen to show me his oven and the younger female working made rude comments to me.
