My friends ordered a drink they saw their Instagram which was the Cucumber Watermelon Sangria. They both loved it, I opted for water since I drank a bit this weekend already lol. We ordered appetizers and individual pizzas. I'm a sucker for a brussels sprouts appetizer and had to try theirs. This will be a repeat order, all the flavors balance each other so well(sweet, salty, and that mustard glaze yum). My friends enjoyed this as well. My friend's ordered the zucchini fritte and they enjoyed that. I ordered my favorite, tried and true The Calabrian (I love hot honey on anything lol). My friends ordered the Garlic & Broccolini (which would be my second choice). They both enjoyed their pizzas, my friend and I shared a sliced with each other. I like the garlic and broccolini as well, I enjoy a white sauce based pizza at times(I love broccoli on pizza, huge garlic person lol). They ordered dessert and coffee, and they both loved the pistachio crème brûlée. Overall it was a great evening with friends, delicious food and atmosphere. The service was friendly from when we arrived to the end. I'll add it to my date night list for my husband and I.

The sauce, however, was very good and easily the best part of the dish. The Porkstore arancini was also disappointing. They lacked flavor, and the portion size was surprisingly small. I would have much preferred one traditional, full-sized arancini because even combined, I'm not sure everything on the plate amounted to one. The pizza was good and ultimately the saving grace of the meal, but it wasn't anything that blew me away. For the price, I expected a higher level of quality, particularly when it came to the ingredients. I've had considerably better pizza made with better ingredients for roughly the same price elsewhere, even if admittedly not in Syracuse. The restaurant itself is very attractive and has a great atmosphere, but the food simply didn't justify the price for me. I left feeling like much of Apizza Regionale's appeal comes from the lack of serious competition for this particular style of restaurant in Syracuse rather than the food standing out on its own. Overall, it just wasn't for me, and I don't see myself returning.

The service was impeccable. I wish I remembered our server's name. He was engaging, patient, and had a great personality.

There was no spice at all to it, so I asked for their crushed red pepper and ended up putting several spoonfuls on it - turns out their crushed red peppers are either old or stale, but they're definitely bland and useless, as they didn't add any spike to the flavor of this dish and if the chef used these to season this dish while making it, that would explain some of what it was so bland. I will say that their table bread was outstanding! It came with their whipped butter, seasoned with honey and parmesan and that combo was so good! Too bad I didn't order something else, like pizza, as this is what I initially saw in reviews that looked amazing. I'm sure they normally are great here, I just came on an off night.

The Chicken Piccata was very heavy of Dijon and the Chicken Marsala tasted like Chicken Teriyaki; needless to say, neither dish tasted like its traditional description. Lastly, the Clam Provencal was void of flavor. Half of our party left as soon as I got my food and we paid the check so we weren't late to the ceremony, but then the rest of our party was asked to leave for another group. Sadly, it was different than what we were hoping for.

Now onto the wings. I kind of expect wings to not be crispy anywhere I go and this place was no different. The upside to it, the flavor of the medium was very good. However, it almost tasted like a mild sauce. The wing itself was very juicy and tender. Nothing special, but they were enjoyable with a slice of pizza. The parking lot is very small, so if you have a larger vehicle, maneuvering may be cumbersome. It is just a row of spots and 1 lane to drive along their building. Just something to consider if youre going at a busy time. The woman working was very nice and attentive to when I walked in. She was in the middle of moving boxes and came right up. So good customer service. I did have to call because on their app I was unable to select between boneless and traditional wings. But, they do have an easy to use app. Overall, I gave this 4 stars due to pizza not really standing out and wings not being crispy. I noticed the name Amore coming up a lot on online discussion for great pizza, and when I finally looked it up, I was excited to realize it was my old favorite no-name pizzeria. We started with a pepperoni/garlic halvsie pizza and some Extra Hot Wings. For Extra Hot, the wings were kinda spicy. Great tasting sauce and great wings though. Not top tier, but better than average. The pizza though, that's top tier. Soft, thin, greasy, crispy, not too much of any of those things. Favorite pizzas are hard in a place like this, but this name always comes up now. Next time we ordered, we were feeling the Bang Bang Chicken pizza. It's not something you see on every menu, and the way it was notated on their menu inside made it seem like a point of pride for them. This pizza had all the same great qualities as the original, but the chicken and sauce took it a completely different direction. The sauce was right on par with good bang bang sauce, but their regular pizzas are so good I wouldn't deviate from them again. One thing that struck me funny was that they limit only their Phillys and nothing else from 11 - 3. I'd be interested to know why that is. I thought maybe it was just a lunch price, but I placed my order shortly after 3:00 and ordering a cheesesteak just wasn't in the stars. We scrambled and decided on Chicken Wing Dip and Loaded Fries. The wing dip was exactly the same dish 4 different people bring to every potluck and Super Bowl party, just equal parts cream cheese, buffalo sauce and chicken. When we ordered the loaded fries, we were thinking nacho cheese, but these had full on cheddar and bacon. We had them with ranch and sour cream, but between that and the wing dip, it was a lot. Doesn't matter. All is forgiven if they keep churning out those pizzas exactly the way we had them. These pizzas alone will keep me coming back.
