I got a calzone and it was wet. It looked like someone dropped it in a bowl of water.

Nice sauce and cheese ratio. The Sicilian was average but not bad. It looks burnt in the picture but I like it that way. They had tons of flavors of pizza ready for their lunch rush. I literally had to scrape it out of the box, put it on my pizza stone, and finish cooking it myself -- as I live 40 minutes away. When I reached out, the owner admitted the regular cook wasn't there. Instead of stepping in or making it right, he offered to remake it with the same cook and tossed out a 10% off next time like that would fix anything. In the end, it was a $56 dinner I had to throw out, and the lack of customer care was louder than anything else. Their actions make it obvious they care more about their own convenience than their customers. The response on their Facebook confirms their lack of professionalism and customer service. Follow up: the missing four slices the owner is referring to are on the pan I used to cook the pizza. Which ended in up in the garbage as the cheese didn't melt.

A sweeter sauce, perfect bottom and good crust. It reminded of Dani's in Queens with the sweeter sauce, and very different than Joe's in NYC in that it has way more cheese. Current owner Matt Barlotta bought it from Angelo in 2002, but Angelo still frequently comes in to be in the shop he started all those decades ago. I've passed Angelo's several times, but I don't live in Auburn, so I'd never stopped. Recently, some friends and I were in Auburn and were looking for some lunch. I had seen someone mention on social media that Angelo's has a pickle pizza. We all love pickle pizza, but few places have it on their menu at all times, so we decided to stop in and grab one. Plenty of off street parking on the side of the building. Small place, one table in the back and some seats at a counter to eat at. We sat at the counter and ordered 2 pizza, a pickle pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were made quickly, and we were eating within 20 minutes. Both were delicious and perfect as far as the way I enjoy pizza. The dough was thin, but sturdy and didn't flop around when eating, it was cooked perfectly, the cheese was slightly browned instead of just melted, the sauces (tomato on the pepperoni and garlic on the pickle) were both tasty and applied in a perfect amount, the toppings were plentiful....I really have no complaints about the pizzas at all. There were 3 employees working and all 3 of them were friendly and talked with us in passing. It came to a little over $50 for 1 extra large, 1 large and 3 drinks, which is pretty expensive, but most pizza places are expensive nowadays. I'd absolutely go again, especially when that pickle pizza craving hits.

I got a table quickly without any waiting, which was surprising with how busy the town was. The place was cozy it's not huge inside but they did have a few seating outside which was nice for a hot day like today. We all ordered sangrias, they were great(no spirits here). We all shared small plates and ordered our own pizzas. The fries and calamari were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I loved the different sauces that came with them. I would get these again. My friends enjoyed the gnocchi, it took awhile for it to come out(waitress said they were training), we were not in any rush it was our girls night. They enjoyed it. Two of us ordered Sam's Favorite and one Blueberry. My friend split a slice of her sister's blueberry pizza with me, it was different but not in a bad way. We thought it was good. The different flavors complement each other. I enjoyed the Sam's Favorite, loved the kick of heat from the fresno peppers. We were full but made a little room for dessert lol, all three order the pot de crème. I will never turn down chocolate lol, it was delicious. Overall the food was good and friendly service, I can see this as date night spot for my husband and I. I enjoy a place like this because the menu is not overwhelming.

I'm struggling with this review because while I acknowledge there were pieces of this experience…read morethat were somewhat out of their control, they could have taken control. I placed a pickup online order for a pizza and wings. Unfortunately there's no way to see the ETA for your order until you place and pay for your order online. They quoted me 1-1.5 hours wait time, which honestly was pretty disappointing to start, but I did give my phone number so if the wait time was shorter they could have called me. I waited, arrived after an hour (the earliest my food was estimated to be ready) and walked into a dark corner of the bar where the business was supposed to be mildly concerned they closed and didn't contact me. Apparently they close at 9p, the range of time was 8:35-9:05 which should probably be fixed in the online system. They were able to find my food, brought it out after a bit of confusion, and handed me a not very warm box. I brought it home (very short drive) to see a cold pizza with congealed cheese, and cold wings. The wings were supposed to be medium buffalo traditional wings, they were totally dry. It was like someone squirt a teaspoon of buffalo sauce after the fact. The pizza crust is odd; I get what people mean when they say it's like cornmeal. It really is, and when you receive the pizza cold, it's totally inflexible. The crust is good, I like that they bring the cheese all the way to the end. I gave it 3 stars because if I had received it at a palatable temperature and the wings actually had sauce, I bet it would be a decent meal. It's just really disappointing that after $40 plus tip that was the food I received and the experience I had. I appreciate online ordering, but I doing think this business is ready for it, or at least should consider different software to prevent this happening again.
