Smoked wings.....so small I wonder what poor lil robin is out there with no legs....also absolutely zero smoke

Ordered here again after many dissapoinments only for another. Order : Pizza & smoked wings to go and a beer to drink during the wait. Pizza : banana peppers, pepperoni, and sausage. Not a bad pie but not a good one. Smoked wings : so very very very very small. Absoloulty no smoke flavor. Basically feel as if I was stolen from by paying for this item. Beer as I wait : very friendly and helpful bar tenders. The beer was sour.....again... the southern teir ipa on tap was one in a long line of sour or off tasting beers that I have had from this establishment. Just don't go here, spare yourself. Maybe time to cut your loss and close up shop Mr krab!

The two way platter with chicken and ribs!

We are extremely picky about our BBQ and this place absolutely hands down has the best BBQ we have ever tasted in Onondaga County. What a great homey feel to this bar/restaurant. We had a lovely waitress and we even got a chance to talk to the owner who has traveled the country trying to find great bbq recipes. We started with the stuffed jalapenos - not too spicy - filled with cheese and pork. A great starter for what was going to be an amazing meal. I had the two way platter - chicken that was bbq'd and smoked and still was juicy enough to eat with my hands. The other half was the pork ribs. OMG my mouth is watering with how smokey and delicious these ribs were. Cooked perfectly with the right amount of pork on the bones. Yummy. But for me the star of the show was the sides. They have an N'awlins rice and beans that has sausage and red beans and rice at the bottom that I kept wishing that this was my main course. So perfectly N'awlins style - this is the real deal and not out of a can! The corn bread was sweet on top and a little bit crumbly - just like mama made it - if your mama lived in the south of course. Lastly if you had room for desserts wowsa the carrot cake was gigantic! My son chose the cheesecake and we shared it. A perfect end to a perfect night. Make the trip from Costco - it's just 5 minutes down the road to Camillus and enjoy some down home cookin. You can taste the love in every bite!

Owner is a very angry man and sends threats to people who leave him bad reviews.

Went awhile back and the food is just bland. The service was bad and saw the "management" be very rude to the staff.

Alongside the meats, we wanted to try their sides as well which consisted of mac and cheese, baked beans, corn bread, cole slaw and salt potatoes. For the brisket which we looked forward to the most, we found these to be drier than we would have liked. Paired with sauce, they were just okay. For the pulled pork, we found this to be phenomenal. Smoky and delicious all on its own. Definitely a highlight for us. For the bacon, we ordered 3 different kinds, and we found the flavors didn't really shine through. Although generously thick cut and cooked perfectly. The kielbasa was a bit of a letdown. We found these to be on the dry side, but the flavors were okay. For the sides, the mac and cheese we found the pasta to be a bit overcooked and overall, on the bland side. The baked beans tasted great, no complaints there. The corn bread wasn't anything special and neither were the salt potatoes. Although we did enjoy the salt potatoes and found they were exactly how they ought to be. The cole slaw was also on the bland side and tasted more of the fridge than any flavor. We've heard good things about their smoked wings which we had to try before leaving. We ordered a 5-piece with their spicy Asian sauce. The wings were delicious, the smokiness flavor penetrated throughout the entire wing, but the sauce was very salty which took away from the natural delicious taste of the smoked wings. Overall, a good experience which some seasoning issues but would revisit if we were back in the area.

Seemed like a very authentic hole-in-the-wall, and I will definitely be back. I had the beef soup. It was pho-like, in a huge bowl with very thin beef (but lots of it) and filled with spicy peppers. Get some water, those peppers pack a pleasant punch. I also had bbq chicken, lamb. They both were like smallish juicy skewers. The chicken was actually better than the lamb, but both were delightful. Finally I tried the BBQ squid. It was tough to describe. Firm, but not too tough or chewy. It came in a sauce that was like the chef had gone to heaven and brought back some soy sauce just for you. Overall great experience.

Order is ready within 20 min of the call, we pick it up and everything is piping hot and fresh. One order of noodles is good for 2 people, and we save the rest for the next day. There is a variety of veg in each order as well - cabbage, carrot, brocolli, mushroom, and a few others I'm probably forgetting. We opt for the shrimp instead of the seafood option because you get more shrimp and less fake crabmeat. It goes without saying that the quicker you start on the noodles, the less soggy they are (this isn't usually a problem for us). Flavor is nice and light, not excessively salty and a good taste of garlic and sesame oil. You get three skewers in one order, there's not a ton of meat on the stick but it's nicely roasted with a dusting of the chili salt seasoning that brings back memories of street food in China. My husband mainly gets it for nostalgic purposes haha - but it's a nice snack. Total comes to $26, which feeds two people two meals, so really good value. Great for a night off from cooking.
