This bar/restaurant is fast becoming a favorite for my friends and me. It's casual and comfortable with a laid-back vibe. Food is good and portions are generous; plenty of beer and wine selections; friendly and accommodating staff; and great prices. They also have outdoor seating and bands in the parking lot on some summer afternoons/evenings.

Came here with a Local Flavor coupon ready to expire and so glad we did. We had a choice of sitting outdoors, in an open to the outside dining area, or in the air-conditioned bar area. We chose the air conditioning. The wait staff is fabulous, taken care of us as soon as we sat down and checking frequently to see if we needed anything. I ordered the cowboy salad, and my husband ordered a side salad, the pulled pork with a side of chili and fries. This dinner also came with a piece of cornbread. The side salad was huge and chock full of veggies and topped with croutons. The quantities of food is enormous and we both took back half of what we ordered. Everything was simply delicious and appeared to be freshly made. There is an extensive beer and cocktail list. When I consider the value and compare this to dinosaur barbecue and the angry smokehouse, there is simply no comparison. Limp Lizard scores of 10 out of 10 for price, quantity of food and quality. You certainly won't leave hungry.

Platter with ribs and Smoked Chicken Wings

I really enjoyed my first dine in experience at Limp Lizard. I had tried the food truck in the past, so I knew I could expect a good meal. We sat at the bar, and the bartender provided very good service. They have lots of TVs in the restaurant, and she was able to put on the hockey game we requested. We got the catfish strips as an appetizer and they were delicious. For my entree, I had the Cowboy Salad with barbacoa and a side of Jalapeño cornbread. Both were very good, but the cornbread was a little cold and I'd prefer it either warmed or room temp. My husband had a platter with ribs and smoked wings, which looked delicious, and was plenty of food to save for lunch the next day. We really enjoyed our dinner and we will be back. My only suggestion would be for them to add a cocktail menu.

Smoked BBQ wings with salt and pepper. Side order of bean salad and coleslaw.

Picked an excellent day to sit outside and have some wonderful BBQ. Three friends of mine and I headed over to the limp lizard before the RHCP show on Friday. Sat outside, ordered some appetizers and chicken wings. We all found our meals wonderful. For the appetizer we ordered the fried pickles. First time I ever had these puppies and they were OK. Maybe not my cup of tea but maybe yours. I ordered Smoked chicken wings with salt and pepper. They were fabulous. Freshly smoked flavor. Just the right amount of salt and pepper. Piled on some creamy blue cheese and it hit the spot. They come with two sides so I tried the coleslaw and the bean salad. I liked the coleslaw, not overly sweet and not dry. The bean salad was good and plentiful. As busy as the place was, and as few of servers they had, our meals came out quick. Our server was excellent. Oops. almost forgot to mention the cornbread. Excellent.

Limp Lizard BBQ, outdoor seating, handicap driveway, cute lizard and other paintings on side of building,, live music , John Goolley playing guitar and singing favorites. ( see pix and videos)was the cherry on the cake, a nice touch with songs like " I was born a traveling man" /Wendler and others. Food was ok , bbq ribs hard on outside, fat inside, pulled pork and brisket along with fried green tomatoes and fried pickles. Quick in and out , plenty of parking.

Today was 50 cent wing day at the Syracuse location and they were giving the special for to-go orders as well as dine in. There were probably 10+ people already waiting at noon when they opened. People started coming in for dine in and to go orders. Nobody missed a beat, and pick up was quick and efficient. My smoked wings were hot, crispy and delicious. I got my blueberry jalapeno sauce on the side for dipping, it is one of the best flavors I've ever had...and not so hot that I couldn't taste the wings. Thank you Limp Lizard

Got take out from the Syracuse location - two orders of 2 meats and 2 sides. The wings were the winner for me, as well as the Mac salad! Pork was okay, I like mine sassy but we got tons of sauce on the side. They forgot one of the sides (which I forgot to check before we took off) so we called and they comped one of the entire meals, which was so nice of them! I'll definitely need to try it in person a summer day, ribs will be first!

Everything about the meal was good....not great. Got a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Good size sandwich, sauce wasn't really hot though. Pickles slapped though. Fries were average, and had to add salt to Mac and cheese. Would go again, would love to try some other menu items. Great service, cool vibe, and fair price.

Pulled chicken over macaroni and cheese

This is for a vendor booth set-up at an event. I tried the Mac & cheese with pulled chicken. The Mac and cheese was very good and I liked the noodle shape! The pulled chicken was okay. It was doused in a lot of sauce so that kind of put me off of it because you couldn't taste the chicken. Would like to go and try their food in the restaurant and see how it is.

The space is massive, could likely hold 300 people comfortably. There's even a stage space, great for karaoke or a work event. We were served buffet style and everything was INCREDIBLE. Things easily dry out on a buffet line, but not here. Everything was fresh, juicy and tender. My favorite was the pulled pork and mac and cheese. I'll definitely be back the next time im in the area!

The inaugural one for syracuse had to be dinosaurs. Sit down or takeout the food was hot, flavorful, large enough for 2 meals and felt like I got the most bang for my buck. The tres Nino platter acts a sampling of Pulled Pork, Brisket, and Ribs. With it I got both Mac Salad and Mac N Cheese as well as a piece of corn bread. The Pulled pork was the smallest portion of the three but still worth all 3 bites. The slices of brisket were filling. The mac n cheese has always been my favorite side from them with its size and addition of BBQ seasonings its unique and never disappoints. The ribs and Mac Salad were tasty and large enough they will make a second meal. There is a reason people come from all over for it.

Seemed like a very authentic hole-in-the-wall, and I will definitely be back. I had the beef soup. It was pho-like, in a huge bowl with very thin beef (but lots of it) and filled with spicy peppers. Get some water, those peppers pack a pleasant punch. I also had bbq chicken, lamb. They both were like smallish juicy skewers. The chicken was actually better than the lamb, but both were delightful. Finally I tried the BBQ squid. It was tough to describe. Firm, but not too tough or chewy. It came in a sauce that was like the chef had gone to heaven and brought back some soy sauce just for you. Overall great experience.

Order is ready within 20 min of the call, we pick it up and everything is piping hot and fresh. One order of noodles is good for 2 people, and we save the rest for the next day. There is a variety of veg in each order as well - cabbage, carrot, brocolli, mushroom, and a few others I'm probably forgetting. We opt for the shrimp instead of the seafood option because you get more shrimp and less fake crabmeat. It goes without saying that the quicker you start on the noodles, the less soggy they are (this isn't usually a problem for us). Flavor is nice and light, not excessively salty and a good taste of garlic and sesame oil. You get three skewers in one order, there's not a ton of meat on the stick but it's nicely roasted with a dusting of the chili salt seasoning that brings back memories of street food in China. My husband mainly gets it for nostalgic purposes haha - but it's a nice snack. Total comes to $26, which feeds two people two meals, so really good value. Great for a night off from cooking.

A quick review from a recent uber eats order…read more I was in town for a business trip and decided to order a few uber eats orders since my hotel's food is not the best. Looking through recommendations I came across Mr. Bigg's restaurant. I am always open to try different cuisines and one for sure was Caribbean/ Jamaican when I am back home. It was definitely surprising how fast it was made and delivered but then I also noticed it was located pretty close to my hotel. I ordered the Oxtail with beans & rice, plantains, steamed cabbage and an additional side of corn bread. First bite was a delicious. The oxtails are tender fall of the bone. Great depth of flavor and texture was delicate. Plantains are nice in flavor and color, steam cabbage is steamed nicely not watery, rice was a great compliment and the corn bread was moist and sweet. Overall I appreciated the food from Mr. Bigg's restaurant. I did not have a chance to stop in around the city for restaurant due to my schedule but this was a great presentation of what the restaurant offers. Caribbean cuisine is something I do not often get but when I do, I never am disappointed. I would recommend this and especially if you like a meal that is full of flavor, spices and possibly put you to sleep haha
