Absolutely delicious food. I have been twice and enjoyed it immensely. The staff are super kind, funny and friendly. I have also ordered takeout. This past trip I ordered the braised pork with hawthorn, which melts in your mouth. Stopped in at about 4:15 on a Friday. Unsurprisingly was the only patron in the establishment. Was seated quickly by the friendly waitress. This place has a large menu with lots of different options. Lots of organ meat. Spine, feet, ear- you name it. Not familiar with "authentic" Chinese cuisine but this spot definitely has a vastly different selection than any other Chinese spot I've been to. Oh the place also does not have descriptions of the food on the menu and while some of the names are straightforward, others are much more vague. If you're picky be warned. I ordered the pork heart skewers, tiger salad, and bibimbap. They were unfortunately all out of pork heart so I ordered marinated beef skewers instead. The skewer was very very very tasty and came with a plate of peppercorns to dip it in. However portion size was small for 7.00. I'd still buy it again though cause I was impressed by the taste. Tiger salad was something else. It arrived looking unassuming composed of what was seemingly just cilantro, green pepper, salt, and bean sprouts. Holy God was this salad spicy. I enjoyed the flavor but it my mouth felt like I was eating razor blades it was so hot. Probably will not order again even though the flavor was good- I happen to be pro-cilantro. The bibimbap was the best I've had in Syracuse. The food was excellent and service quick. I will say the place is definitely pricey. Almost 60 for just myself. Wow, didn't expect this gem in Syracuse! You're in for a real treat if you're looking for some authentic food. This is a korean-Chinese place, but we opted to only try the Chinese food. Menu is vast (with some funny google translate mishaps, but that's when you know it's authentic). Things are a little pricey, but the portions are large. This would be great for a large group. We tried the fish - listed as larimichthys polyactis (on the bbq/skewer menu), malaa dry pot, and a enoki/cucumber dish as well as ordered two bowls of rice. Because this is a somewhat fusion place, we were pleasantly surprised by some pickled radish and bean sprouts (though this would be less than the number of side dishes given at a Korean restaurant). I love malaa dry pot so this made me very happy! Based on different photos from previously, it looks like they tend to throw in whatever is in season into the pot (I've seen some photos with bok choy, lotus root, etc.). Ours had a lot of bean sprouts. The flavor was delicious though. The only thing I would change is I wish they included some noodles to soak up all the goodness. The mushroom/cucumber dish was just alright (portion was huge though). Flavoring reminded me of pickling/side dishes like kimchi. I wouldn't order it again considering how expansive the menu is. I am so glad we checked out this restaurant today. I have been driving by it so many times but never remembered to come here when i wanted to try something new. The food is absolutely delicious and very authentic. They do have an American Chinese menu, but I would stick with the authentic foods. The prices are a bit high and k ended up spending 100$ for two people when I wasn't planning on it, but the food was so good it was worth it. I highly recommend the beef with scallion and the quail. The BBQ items were appealing but we were hungry and wanted a full meal right away, so we took in the stir fried beef with hot chili and the sautéed spare ribs in spicy sauce. As for the dishes... first off they were incredibly salty. I ordered braised mixed seafood, which was more like braised squid. Sweet and sour pork fillet, hard to chew. Fried noodles which was actually lo-mein. The long list of menu is impressive. But I would say the quality is mediocre. This place is unique but not authentic. One would be curious, the interior has Korean traditional decorations as well as Chinese ones. The menu has BBQ kebabs and hotpots Northeastern Chinese style, with a sizable choice of Szechuan cuisine. And then, you find a few Korean dishes here and there. After a few conversation, I could see the shop is owned by a Chinese family of Korean descent who emigrated to America. BTW, do not order Korean soju. I was charged outrageous price. I will probably not visit this place for quite some time. But will come back to find out if the food and management have improved. read more

Got a groupon for Yang Di Chun and decided to check it out with a group of friends as we love Korean BBQ. The first thing we noticed is that the menu is large and has a lot of unique dishes (such as paddywack, pig ears, and bull penis) but also plenty of staples such as sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. They definitely could use a little description of some of the dishes on the menu. The BBQ dishes are just the meat and don't come with anything. All tables do get two small Korean appetizers (mung beans and pickled raddish). Most Korean bbq places I have been to usually give a few more of these as part of the experience. A few of us asked for a side of rice and were not charged, so that's a plus. Also note that the BBQ dishes are made in back and it's not the sort of Korean BBQ with the boolpan hot plate where you cook the meat yourself. We ordered a Bimimbop (which I didn't see on the menu but they said they could make it), a tofu soup, BBQ quail and sweet and sour spare ribs. All were good but one example of why the descriptions would have been helpful is that the tofu soup had various sea food in it so if you were expecting a vegetarian soup, that's not the case. The food came out super fast after we ordered and we were given complementary dumplings at the end. I believe the dumplings are part of their grand opening so it may not be around forever. All in all, food is very good. 2 places for improvement are: 1. Some descriptions of food on the menu 2. Hurrah! Another new Asian restaurant on Erie Blvd! This place is a great addition to 'Cuselandia. I was on my way to Olive Garden on New Year's Day when I passed by the "Grand Opening" sign for this place. I swerved into the parking lot and cancelled my Olive Garden wait list reservation. I saw the BBQ sign and thought it'd be a Korean BBQ place but it was Chinese BBQ. I got the beef kebabs ($20), chicken & broccoli, and spicy chicken. The dishes came with a side of rice that had yellow speckles in it (corn), two dipping powders for the kebabs (had cumin in it), and a side of steamed broccoli with carrots and bean sprouts. You get free barley tea as well. Our waitress was really friendly. I thought the beef kebabs were really yummy and were seasoned with a unique flavor. The spicy chicken dish had fried chicken, star anise, bay leaves and red chili. I cannot decide which one was my favorite dish. The chicken and broccoli dish reminded me of something I'd eat at home with my parents. The beef skewers were my fiancee's favorite. It had a good proportion of fat/meat. I loved the chicken and broccoli dish. Outside of beef kebabs, they have lamb, chicken, shrimp, intestines, and much more. The interior's really spacious and has a lot of private booths with rice-paper-looking trim. There is a large parking lot.
