What a great find in downtown Argyle. This place was a great brunch spot to have a nice intimate breakfast with my husband. Wonderful place to go if you wanted to have a girls brunch before hitting some shopping or spa time in Highland Village and Flower Mound. Service was wonderful! The staff was friendly and very attentive. Food was a great price! Everything tasted delicious and fresh. Coffee= free refills Try the white chocolate Latte!!!! Soooooo good! We will we 100% be back

The food is good, I've tried the oatmeal, muffins, coffees, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. The salads are my favorite, fresh ingredients and good portions. The service was wonderful! The food was excellent! We stopped by on the way to a football game and if it wasn't over an hour from our house we would come back frequently and work out way through the menu. Came in here on a rainy day where I was searching for a good place to eat with sandwiches or some traditional food and came across this place. Recently underwent new management and had one of my favorite sandwiches in the Avocado Turkey Club. Recommended all around as the seating arrangements are nice, great customer service and really good food. Also a very nice place to study and work through some assignments. 5 Stars and will definitely be back ! read more

Our first time to this establishment. It's hidden off the beaten trail so if you don't know it's there, you'd never find it. Long wait probably due to a large party in a private room. Noisy. Food was just ok. Over hard eggs were runny. Ham steaks were thin. Never got potatoes that were asked for (they don't even have hash browns). Breakfast tacos were ok but not great. Store bought tortillas too big for the filling and apparent salsa from a jar. Coffee was good. Iced tea was good. Surprised to have seen a 5-star review. We expected better. Probably won't be back but wish the owners success. read more

We just had the most amazing lunch today. It was our first visit to the Bistro and we can't wait to come back. Bruschetta Sandwich, Veggie Wrap, Cucumber Salad....all delicious. But let's talk about those peach muffins......a man, assuming maybe Mike, brought them to us as a treat.....they were probably the best muffins we've ever had!! Cute atmosphere with outside seating that would be wonderful when the temps cool off. Very friendly service. Such a gem!! Please stop in and support a local business. If your looking for some amazing baked goods you have to stop in. I highly recommend the banana nut muffin but you better get there early as they sell out quickly. The owner Mike is an excellent baker and chef. Additionally Mike and his wife are the nicest people and always go out of their way to make my mom and I feel like family. read more

My waitress promptly replaced it with a container from a nearby booth. While sipping my coffee, I noticed an unusual texture on the rim. The mug had a slight chip, but I managed to overlook it. Instead of taking my food order when she served my coffee, she immediately left to attend to other tables. This unexpected delay gave me a chance to admire the muffins displayed in the case. When I spotted a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin, I decided to order a light breakfast and went with the Chorizo Tacos. Holding the tortilla prevent the toppings from falling out was a bit of a challenge. The red salsa lacked heat, while the green salsa provided a pleasant kick. Both salsas had softened the tortillas, making them unable to hold the ingredients securely. My hash browns were my favorite style--crispy on top and moist on the inside. If I had not planned on ordering a muffin, I would have easily enjoyed more than a couple bites. For someone who enjoys the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin was delicious. Most of the chocolate chips were placed on top, with a smaller amount mixed into the batter. If I wanted a less chocolatey experience, I could simply skip the muffin top. But why would I do that?

However, as time goes on service and customer care seems to be declining. I'm in my mid 60s and have white hair, but the cashiers never offered the senior citizen discount unless you ask for it. I had good Birria tacos one time. The next time I went, they dipped them in consume, but didn't sear them off on the flat top so they were crispy so I ended up eating mush. That was my last review and I still gave him three stars for that mediocre attempt at a taco. I've been going to 407 BBQ for many years and I'm well aware of his sign that says if you don't specify, you get what you get no returns lean or fatty. Well I did specify, but the hostess didn't write it down on my order. OK you know what I am disappointed as all hell but that's my mistake since I didn't look at the receipt. Fine, but if you look at the receipt where I ordered a pound of brisket to go that clearly says lean, and it's a hell of a lot closer to fatty than lean. Look at my pictures below. That will tell you everything you need. My wife ordered the burger, which is normally very good and one of the more difficult choices that I have to make in life barbecue or burger. But this time it seems as though they put garlic salt on the burger or some sort of garlic flavoring which overpowers their burger we've never had to specify no garlic before, but maybe something has changed that I'm not aware of. Maybe he felt they needed to be more mainstream? Who knows. With the proliferation of really stellar barbecue now available around DFW I can no longer recommend 407. Maybe he's got too many young kids maybe I'm not aware and he sold out. Maybe he's gone corporate. I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe there's something going on in his life I'm not aware of and he's preoccupied with that. But I think I'm done with 407. He could've easily responded to my yelp review on the mediocre taco disaster, but he didn't. He didn't attempt to make it right. I published my receipt and he can go back in his system and see who I am. He's got my full name and phone number, but I doubt he'll contact me. It's a shame when he was working out of a small wooden shack, there seemed to be a lot more care about Customer Service and Support. There's always my standby Angelo's downtown Fort Worth, North Texas smoke out near Decatur, which is actually closer to me than 407 but has limited hours. Hutchins in Trophy Club and Daynes's barbecue in Aledo. I wish Brian and the 407 crew all the best. Hopefully they get things back

It's painfully obvious that the people manning the register and taking the orders are either not paying attention to what their customers are saying, or they're oblivious and doing what they choose. I hope that the owner can get a handle on their employees, because at the rate they're going, they're costing this establishment money in more ways than one.

Love this place! Super friendly staff that actually remembers their customers. Coffee is really good here but the star off the show would have to be the food. My wife and I have tired some of the pastries and I'd have to say that they all were good. My personal favorite is the breakfast quesadillas!! (OMG) Best I've ever had hands down. Lastly, this awesome place serves dinner!! Only on Fridays and Saturdays but how many coffee shops you know that serves dinner? What to get? Glad you asked!! The shrimp scampi is a must try!! We stopped in for breakfast at Uncle Mike's Bistro this morning and it was absolutely amazing! The customer service was phenomenal--everyone was attentive and friendly, truly making us feel welcome. The bistro itself has a super cute aesthetic that adds to the overall dining experience. As for the food, it was to die for! Each dish was delicious and beautifully presented.
