The service was great. Apps and drink were delicious. The ramen was just okay... I've had better at many places so was a little disappointed. read more

Friendly staff, fast service, and although few vegetarian options, each thing I ordered was delicious! My waiter's cocktail recommendation was also great! read more

After going to New York City this year and eating at a Michelin Star Ramen restaurant near Times Square, coming home and finding a new ramen place here in Denver that was comparable was a challenge but after eating at Uncle their ramen was the closest we had found to being as incredible as the ramen we had had in NYC. Cannot wait to go back. The food is so good, that staff is awesome and they genuinely cared about your experience! read more

My name is Chef Tony Rexach here in Colorado Springs. I had an enjoyable dinner with the family, the ramen was amazing, I don't like soup but this was so tasty I drank the broth, that's how good it was. I wanna congratulate Chef Tommy Lee for having a very good crew over at the Pennsylvania location, definitely coming back!!! read more

A lot faster than the other location. Best panang curry I've ever had, and I eat Panang 2-3 times a week. Manager and server were friendly

This was the best customer service of any restaurant I've ever been to. We had one main waitress but four others, flawlessly serving us. They didn't have to ask were the drinks or meals went. Great atmosphere and as always (I was a 32nd regular) delicious food! The buns and the spicy chicken ramen will never disappoint!!! read more

First time out on a date in a while with a new baby at home. I just wanted to thank you for giving us a wonderful dining experience all around! Every person on your staff was wonderful to us. We sat at the bar, Matt was our server and gave us all of the right drink and food recommendations (especially to me being GF). It's not very often that you get delicious, unique food, amazing service and a fun upbeat vibe anymore at restaurants with shortages and such. We really needed a night like last night so we really appreciate the professionalism and effort here! read more

Amazing ramen. I had the duck confit. Dishes are on the fusion side which I usually stay away from but these were all on point and amazing. Noodles firm. Duck tender and crisp. Perfection. read more

Terrible service. Will not be back. When this place goes out of business I will celebrate.

Ok, so I never had ramen in a restaurant. That being said, this was the best meal I have had in a restaurant in ages. The spicy chicken ramen was simply delicious. The pork buns divine and the dumplings, well let's just say I could have had more. It was recommended and boy was I happy. Now the service...the nicest staff I ever encountered in a restaurant. I can't say enough. I live in Florida and am desperate to find a local eatery as good as this. Loved it. read more

I took my first bite of the crispy eggplant bun appetizer and immediately thought that this should be a Michelin star restaurant. This is hands down the best ramen I have ever had. This restaurant deserves to be as busy as it is! The drinks were amazing too. INCREDIBLE!!! read more

Food is absolutely amazing. The only complaint I have is their waiting situation. They don't take reservations so it causes a huge wait which can suck. read more

This is by far the best ramen I've had. The duck ramen is incredible, as well as the veggie ramen and the softshell crab bao buns. I will be returning each time I am in Denver! read more

Really good white person ramen. Not at all authentic, but that's Denver for ya. The pork bun was meh, but my cocktail really impressed.

I had the spicy chicken ramen last night on a suggestion from my girlfriend. It was delicious, tasty, spicy and hearty. The broth definitely sends this bowl of noodles and chicken to 12. The place was clean and staff was super friendly. I'll be back for sure. read more

Worst ramen I have ever had. Literally ZERO flavor, over cooked noodles, and stupid menu. You literally cannot do ANY substitutions yet the combinations are dumb. Being vegetarian at uncle, you are basically disallowed from having some of the cooler toppings that make this place stand out in the crowd. This includes shaved or julienned apples and some other stuff. The broth was like hot water. So gross honestly and I was SO disapponted given so many people think it's bomb. Drinks way over priced and not made correctly or taste good. Long lines due to dumb useless reservation policy. Best bun I ever had. Otherwise I'd never go back/ actually I definitely don't plan to.. maybe for the bun if they can make it and send it to the front door in less than three freaking hours ugh :( read more

Ramen Saves!!!! I simply cannot recommend uncle enough. The spicy chicken ramen is phenomenal. I highly recommend adding a side of duck confit to it for a rich, complex flavor. Truly amazing. The soft shell crab bun is always consistent and delicious. We heat up the broth in a saucepan on the stove and then pour over other ingredients. Slurp away. The West Wash Park location was super helpful with customizing our Grubhub order. 100% recommend for dine in, carry out, or delivery. Thank you, Uncle. Ramen truly does save. read more

One of my favorite ramen places to go to. Very clean and I love an open kitchen. You can see what there doing right in front of you. The staff are super friendly. I've never had a bad service. Only thing that was bad is the wait. For 2 people it could be from 10 minutes to 2 1/2hours. It's nice because they text you when your table is ready, but because of limited space the wait is normally long. I can't wait to go back. read more

Good! Place is always busy! Has a simple but very stylish decor. Limited hours but overall a great find!

Their ramen is really really good. I'm a huge fan. I wish it were a little more traditional with tonkatsu broth but that's really not a big deal to me because I still really enjoy it. The thing that keeps me dreaming about this place is the bao buns. The pork belly and the crispy eggplant. O.M.GEEEEE. The bread in a bao bun is critical - it has to be super soft and a lot of these places just don't get it right. Uncle DOES and not only that, they have the filling down to an art. read more

To go containers are definitely car accident resistant just In case you get in one with there ramen in the car like me :)

It is so delicious. The only problem is there isn't an option for veggie Raman. Extremely disappointing for a Raman Restaurant.

Yum. The new Uncle is yummy. They specialize in ramen and buns, but don't second guess getting a curry. Especially for gluten free peeps... that is your only option. But it's still delicious. read more

Came in and got seated until my friend arrived. Got seated in the bar. Waitress was nice. Everyone is chill. We ordered about $60 bucks in food and as soon as I took the last bite of my ramen a check was left over. They even seated someone next to us that had a party of three that weren't there, but once they got there they were next to us, putting pressure on us to leave. Wait staff was cleaning around as slowly pressuring us leave. I wanted to eat and talk to my friend. This was my first time here and while it was good this was just disgusting experience. I eventually told my buddy who was explaining something to me that we had to leave to be "polite" to the two people waiting to sit next to us. He was like fuck this, but I was like, let's just leave. We didn't even get a chance or were asked if we wanted more drinks/food. Fuck this place. Ramen was pretty good, but wasn't that great. If I ever decide to go again. I'll just order it to go and avoid tiping 20% for shitty service. Hey, but everyone has to make a buck right? More customers=tips :). I never write anything on yelp. I even downloaded the app. So that tells you how how much it sucked that I took the time to write this stupid review. read more

one of my fav restaurants but they don't strive to be valuable to the customer at this location - very pushy. had a bad experience with hannah b - excessively pushy. read more

This was my first time visiting Uncle after hearing everyone in Denver hyping it up. The wait for a table was long and we ended up getting seated at the bar. Staff was all friendly and helped us lead us to the spicy chicken ramen. The noodles were fresh and the broth was delicious. Good place for simple ramen if you're willing to wait! read more

Uncle - Spicy Chicken Ramen - Ramen Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Super popular, super crowded ramen place. The Spicy Chicken Ramen is to die for (and deceptively not that spicy which for me is a good thing). The broth is what makes it. However, the rest of the small menu is just ok and rarely justifies a minimum 2-hour wait any day of the week. read more

Some of the best ramen I've had in a while. The broth was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was easy to move around the open space. They have a solid selection of non-ramen options, and some of the apps were wonderfully delicious. read more

So since my husband and I have had tons of ramen in Tokyo, Kyoto, NYC, Chicago, and various other ramen hotspots, we consider ourselves to be somewhat picky. I have long heard about Uncle, but between the hipster name and the incredibly long wait times, I have always avoided it. When I saw that there was a new second location that was closer to use in Wash Park, I finally decided that this would be the time. My husband and I got to the restaurant around 8:45pm on a Saturday and we only had to wait 5-10 minutes to get two seats at the bar. Service was friendly and prompt. Ambiance was very hipster-chic and they played NERD, Beastie Boys, and other loud music. We ordered the pork belly bao to share, tsukemen ramen for my husband, and spicy chicken ramen for me. We each got a side of the spicy bomb. I was underwhelmed by the pork belly bao, which were fine, but my spicy chicken ramen was amazing! Probably the best broth I've had for ramen outside of Japan. The chicken pieces were good and not too tough. That being said, the ramen noodles could have been a bit more toothsome or al dente. My husband's tsukemen was really good, and we were excited to see it on the menu. We had only had it in Tokyo and it was the single best thing we ate in Japan. I wish there were a broth equivalent for the tsukemen that was more in line with a concentrated, thicker version of the spicy chicken ramen. Also, one huge omission on the menu -- there are no vegetarian ramen options. This seems like a really odd choice for most cities now, let alone Denver. I also have quite a few friends who are vegetarians, so this really limits who I can come to Uncle with. If you're interested in other really good ramen places without such a long wait time, I would recommend Sakana in Westminster. If you want stellar ambiance, incredible ramen, but more of an authentic ambiance, I would check out Ototo on Pearl St in Denver. It's run by the same team as Sushi Den and Izakaya Den. read more

First off LOVE Uncle there hasn't been a restaurant I have went out of my way to go to for a dish in years. We always frequented the original and had our favorites... with that being said don't go here expecting the same experience and that is the point. There are a couple of the regular favorites on the menu but adventure out. If you get a chance to have Justin as your server his explanation of the food is better than anyone I have ever had anywhere. I don't do spice and they have always been honest with their levels and what to expect which has actually helped me build my pallet. The first time I ever went to Uncle, Javier saved me as he pays attention to every guest and saw I was dying from the heat and gave me something to calm my mouth. Best suggestion tell Javier or Justin what your likes are, and then go with their recommendations they won't steer you wrong. read more

We loved the chicken Ramen, was full of flavor, salty, and delicious. We also enjoyed our pork belly buns. Nice and crispy. The new location had a shorter wait and bigger space. Still loud, but that is the vibe of a busy hoppin place! :) read more

They automatically add a 15% tip to all Togo orders. So shady and unethical also steep for pouring a bowl or soup into plastic. If you eat in the restaurant, they literally give you a sign with a one hour time limit to order and eat. (This is post covid restrictions, so no excuse) This is ridiculously when you are paying a steep price for a bowl of soup. They proceeded to have 5 different staff rotating in every 2-3 mins asking to clear our plates when we were clearly still eating.(also they had open tables in the restaurant) It's a bummer because the food is really good but there are plenty of restaurants in Denver with good food that you can go to that won't be rush you out of the restaurant and sneak in a 15% auto tip on Togo orders. I don't recommend going here if want to actually sit and enjoy a meal. read more

Was so excited to try this restaurant with my family. We knew that they didn't take reservations so we showed up right at 5 when they opened. When we got inside the staff at the front were not friendly at all towards our group of 8(one being a baby). We were told that it is a policy that they don't allow parties over 5 people on Saturdays, which is listed NO WHERE on their website. They suggested that we could split our party up at separate tables even though the restaurant has two 8 people communal tables that were both completely empty and the two managers on duty(not sure if they were actually managers...they didn't act professional) refused to seat us there. One manager Jordan for extremely aggressive with me while I was holding my 4 Month old son. Their policy sounded like it was made up on a whim because they didn't want a family with a baby in their restaurant. It didn't make much business sense to refuse service to a family of 8 that were going to fill up an entire table. To top the awful experience off, once I started asking for the owners contact info to share my feedback, they threatened to call the police...which was hilarious. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Soft shell crab Bao was excellent as was spicy chicken ramen! Roast pork a little light in the meat and heavy handed on hoisin sauce. The first two exceeded expectations. Definitely look forward to going back for a second round. Go check it out for yourself! read more

My boyfriend and I came here for our first date night in months. We both work in the service industry and we always (not intentionally) have certain standards for service. Our night here was exceptional! The food was throughout was beautifully prepared and great flavor and balance. The entire staff worked together to keep food and drinks brought out promptly. But most important our server, Zoe, made us feel both welcomed and comfortable the entire service. She was friendly and attentive the whole meal. She was easily my favorite part of the experience. I definitely recommend the soft shell crab buns! read more

We spend $120 for two people and it was not good. I should say the chicken in the spicy chicken was tough thigh meat, not tender at all! The sauce was good however. The appetizer which was the lamb was also tough and fatty, not good. The bartender is excellent though and we would come back for drinks but we were so shocked by the price for substandard fare, we might not come back. read more

This place is amazing!! Usually pretty crowded, but then you know it's good. ;) The duck ramen is my favorite, along with any of the buns!
