We finally had the pleasure of dining here last night; had previously when they were a food truck , we are so happy they decided to come back, & have been following all the progress this owner has made re-starting up his business and everything he has done to give back to his community, much appreciation to you Bo! We were so happy to see so many cars in the parking lot too! The food was absolutely amazing! I had the beef ribs with greens and jambalaya, my husband selected the catfish dinner with greens and slaw (the cornbread muffins are to die for!!) the food was amazing, I know, I already said that but I can not express it enough!!! I have seen posts where people have complained about the prices - we spent less then we would have at Texas Roadhouse or Olive Garden, and the quality of the food is so much better at Bo's! We will be back as often as we can, and I will continue to recommend you're restaurant to everyone I know!! read more

We are very happy to have this new BBQ place in town. Let me start with what is most important. The meat coming off that massive BBQ they have smoking right out front is as good as it gets. This was our second time eating there. I ordered a full rack of ribs and a small portion of smoked sausage to go on my first visit and we loved them. We just went back today and had lunch. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and i got the brisket sandwich. We both prefered the regular BBQ sauce over the bourbon sauce. The sandwiches were both very good. We also ordered the large portion of smoked sausage that we knew we would be eating for dinner tonight. Give it a try...its good stuff. I also want to mention the decor. They obviously spent some money to make it very nice inside. We have been to this place when it was the Alaskan and the 310 grill and its been completely redone inside. It looks great. We will definitely be back. read more

Firstly, this is my first Yelp review ever. I felt compelled to write about Uncle Bo's, after enjoying one of (if not the very best!) BBQ meals of my life. I am from Brooklyn, NY and was passing through Ohio on the way back from a wedding in Chicago. I consider myself a bbq snob and have tried all the renown bbq joints in NYC. None compare to Bo's. Not even close. Truly authentic (no b.s.), tender and incredibly flavorful smoked meats. The sides were superb and boasted that "homemade" quality we all adore. I would pay twice as much to relive this dining experience! The staff was friendly and enthusiastic and the owner, Bo, is a stand-up, hard working master of his craft. I will speak highly of this place for years to come and will recommend to everyone I know. I'm planning all future road trip vacations around Bo's. Life-changer! Game-changer! Bo knows best! Thank you! read more

Just ate there today and had our daughter, Abbey, serve us. So of course we were happy with the service . But we tried the ribs, the rib tips, and the brisket sandwich. My husband also tried the collard greens for the first time. We absolutely LOVED everything. You are doing an amazing job! We also truly appreciate your hard work in always doing your best to satisfy your customers. You are definitely nothing if not a hard worker. We also have the advantage of hearing from Abbey, behind the scenes, how wonderful it is to work for you and Tonya. Thank you so much for being not only an outstanding place to eat, but also a great employer in a community that's hopefully on the rise!! read more

Wow! This bbq is amazing! I've been to places where they have saturated the meat with sauce and you can't even taste what you are eating but this place smokes the meat and the flavor is out of this world! You don't even need bbq sauce but if you do, try the bourbon sauce..yum! The staff is on point offering awesome suggestions! If bbq isn't your thing, try the catfish..it literally melts in your mouth. And let me tell you about the sides..collard greens, baked beans, Mac n cheese, cole slaw are outstanding. The owner, Bo, is passionate about his food and makes you feel right at home in his restaurant! Totally worth the drive and if it's busy, which it is, worth the wait! read more

Love the Americana BBQ picnic style décor, even down to the trays and plastic-wear! The service staff is always friendly & eager to let you sample anything that you've never tried before, which is how I discovered their collard greens. The food is the best, all of their selections, even their side dishes. You know it's delicious when you bring your out-of-town guests here. Just be sure you call ahead to confirm they still have the meat you want in the evenings, as their fantastic brisket is no longer a secret and they can sell out before the night is over. I genuinely hope this place lasts! read more

We had dinner at Uncle Bo's last night for the first time. The smell was heavenly as soon as you walk up to the building and inside. Dinner was delicious! We will definitely be back! The prices were reasonable and the service was good and very friendly. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as service since they are still in the first 30 days of opening. They did great and we were there at one of the busiest times 6 pm on a Saturday night where there was a 35-40 minute wait - we only waited about 25 minutes. Definitely give them a try if you are a fan of barbecue. You will not be disappointed! read more

Had a great evening with 4 couples to celebrate 2 of the guys birthdays. I think we probably had some of everything on menu ordered in our group. Food was delicious, looked like small servings till you got filled up & had food to take home!! Brisket so tender!! Never tried greens but did & they were delicious with ham in them!! Everyone was very pleased!! Few prices seemed higher but quality was great! Service was spot on! Moonshine drinks fun & interesting! I'd like ketchup on the table with the sauces but minor detail. Will return often!! read more

Food is delicious and service is great! Everybody is so friendly. You can tell how important customer satisfaction is to them! When I see reviews about bad service I roll my eyes because some people aren't being understanding about the staff shortage at EVERY restaurant around right now. Despite the staff shortage everywhere, Uncle Bo's still gives customers their best every single time. The food is amazing! My favorite is the brisket! Best smoked bbq I've ever had, and people come from all over the area for their food! I highly recommend. read more

I tried this place last night and found it to be a very pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. I had the pulled pork and my wife had the beef brisket. Both cooked to perfection. The backed beans were sweet and tangy with an ample portion of bacon and pulled pork mixed in. The corn bread was the best I have ever had anywhere. I will be returning soon to enjoy another great meal. I suggest that if you're in the area and enjoy smoked barbecue this is a stop you should make. I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

One of the best, if not the best, BBQ Place around. The staff is great and eager to help especially during these difficult times when labor is hard to come by. The food is by far the best that I have had in a long time. It is always hot, correct, and plentiful. I recommend Uncle Bo's to all of my family and friends and have been thanked time and time again for suggesting it. If you are in the area or in visiting I highly recommend stopping n to see the great folks at Uncle Bo's Slow and Low. read more

A definite must stop! Went with a few friends and everyone tried something different: a burger, brisket, and pulled pork. Each was individually delicious. The pulled pork melted in your mouth. The brisket was so tender and juicy. And the burger was amazing. We also tried the jalapeño bacon Mac and that was beyond delightful. Their special bbq was the best I've ever had and even contemplated taking a bottle (but I didn't). The atmosphere was light and fun. Will definitely be returning! read more

I love this place. Their chili and pulled pork is to die for. I know they have been having some service issues recently due to COVID but the food is worth the wait. And if you ever have service problems (have to wait too long for your food), just ask to speak to the manager (or the owner) and they will make it right. Bo is a great guy trying to run a small business, employ some people from the area, and make great food. We should be grateful for his efforts!!! read more

Discovered this gem on yelp and it's right in our neighborhood. First look at the menu online had me pulled in with what seemed like genuine southern barbeque and it was even better than I had hoped. Our server was amazing as was everything we ordered; ribs, brisket sandwich, fries, green beans and corn muffin. The ribs were so tender and very meaty with a tasty rub that needed no sauce. We'll definitely be back and will spread the word! read more

My family and I went to Uncle Bo's for dinner many times now. Being from the South it was great seeing a BBQ smokehouse come to town, this is true smoked meats with great ribs and Briskets. The sides are excellent. The atmosphere is that of a great country BBQ place with southern charm and friendly staff. The prices are great and comparable with other Smokehouses. This place is Great! We will continue to go to Uncle Bo's read more

This place is AMAZING. Saw it on "New day Cleveland" and drove from Akron to eat here. The workers are SO.NICE. And really treat the customers right! The food and mixed drinks are incredible. This is on my favorite restaurant list now and I only have one other restaurant on that list! I highly recommend Uncle Bo's. Give this place a try and support this new business that's soon to be the BEST restaurant around!!! read more

Nice atmosphere. We weren't happy with our ribs so told the waitress...she got the owner there at our table, Bo, he was so upset about our ribs that he went in the kitchen and brought us out fresh ones himself! They were excellent!! He explained that people should always say if their food isn't what it should be, and I agree. I'm just very pleased with the outcome of our experience. Highly recommend this BBQ!! read more

Uncle Bo's barbecue is the best food this town has seen in a long time. Great tender Brisket and the ribs are so good you don't even need barbeque sauce, but the sauce is a great addition to the meat. My husband said this is his new favorite place to eat. Uncle Bo's will let you try samples of their food before you order. The food is so good I suggest go early before the crowd. read more
