Excellent service both visits in the past week. Both times I was lucky to have Kelly taking care of me. Attentive, sharp, fast and accurate. On the first visit my Asian Zing traditional wings--plus lots of celery--really hit the spot. In a weak moment on that first visit, I decided I would splurge on a Pepsi. The Universe arranged for my drink to be a bit flat and not the treat I expected. I probably should have let BWW know, but I wasn't looking for a refund so I took the lazy way. My boyfriend and I wanted a quick bite to eat before heading home after the record store. When we sat down at the bar, we were greeted after a few minutes by who i'm assuming was the bartender. We asked her what NA beers she had available. She seemed confused by this question as she walked to one of the 2 unstocked beer coolers, she pulled out and held up a NA IPA and a we both decided to get one. After this she disappeared without offering us menus and she was gone talking to a nearby table for 10 minutes. Several other customers had empty beers and we were actually told by the man beside us that if we wanted to order we would have to flag her down, and then he kindly offered us a menu. The bar was sticky and there were empty drinks and napkins in front of several quests and surprisingly full for the quality of service. When she finally returned she took our order and we didn't get our food for 35 minutes. we each ordered wings (30 wings total) and a side salad. For reference there were 3 visible tables in the restaurant. My boyfriend had an empty beer for the entirety of our wait time for our food and the bartender was gone the entire time. As a bartender myself, I was amazed at how she still has a job. Dirty bar, empty drinks all around for an extended period of time, and absent/ nonexistent service. When we got our wings, she told us that she wrong in the wrong wings for my boyfriend. We were told by both her and the manager to try the wrong wings to see if he liked them even though they were wrong. They were too hot and they eventually got us the correct wings and we paid and left. We were given a check that stated 58.00$ at first and when i paid, she gave me back a check that said 44.00$. I'm hoping she discounted our meal since it was an overall bad experience, but i didn't check and we left as soon as we could. This is the place to be if there is a major sporting event on TV. The televisions are big, plentiful- everywhere you look! There are daily specials and happy hour deals. If you're the only one in your group who doesn't care about the sport on the TV, you can play Buzztime trivia with a cool handheld device. I was excited to try a new menu item, the Buffalo Mac and Cheese. It wasn't the creamy texture I was hoping for. It was dry and disappointing. I wouldn't order it again. I enjoyed the dry rubbed potato wedges and boneless wings though! I visited on a Saturday night, around 8pm and it wasn't busy at all. Tried to order the Thursday Boneless BOGO online but it wouldn't go through so I called in. Apparently, this location only allows 2 sauce choices when ordering 40 total even though the website clearly says you can choose 4. I wanted 4 so I had to buy two 10s / free two 10s which cost a few extra dollars. Online it also allows for 8 sides of ranch but only got 4. Disappointing I had to call, spend more money & get less ranch than if the website or app would have allowed me to order. I will say everyone there was very friendly & they had a nice set up inside due to COVID-19 so giving it a 3-star instead of 2-star rating. read more

They got pretty good dishes here. I have been here numerous times, and I have never had any bad experiences personally. I have had on one occasion had my boneless wings overcooked, but never undercooked. I love the Teriyaki Wing sauce they have, and the Honey BBQ is great too. Another interesting idea is the Salt N Vinegar fries. The Fish Tacos, and burger I had was pretty good too. There have been a couple occasions where the staff didn't know answers to questions I had (but realistically new people aren't going to know everything). The Elyria BW3 is absolutely terrible. I went there to watch the UFC fights. We were at another restaurant and had already eaten. We went to BW3's because the restaurant we were at lost the signal to the fights. We sat down and ordered some waters and soda. The server mentioned that we had to order something to eat because the owner "Mike" paid $900.00 for the fights. We explained to her that we had already eaten. I told her that I would be happy to leave her a $5.00 tip. I understand that she needs to make her money. She has a tough job and we had no problem tipping her. She thanked me and got our drinks. She came back and said that her boss told her that we did need to order something. We decided on the soft pretzels. Obviously we were not hungry. The pretzels came and they were disgusting. We got half way through the pretzels and the owner (Mike) shows up. He starts yelling at us about ordering food. We explain our story and told him that we are happy to tip the server. He continued to belittle us in front of other patrons and tell us we have to order more food or we have to leave. I ask him how much food I have to order. He tells me I have to get at least and entree each. (There were three of us). I told him we would think about it. The server came back and we ordered the desert. She had to go and check with him to make sure that we spent enough money. (What a joke)! Now, I understand that this man wanted to make his money back on the cost of the fights but his approach was terrible. He also needs to understand that ordering the fights is a part of doing business. The place was packed and he probably made his money back before we got there. Which by the way was 10:45 at night. Well the location itself isn't bad but our server DALLAS V was very rude and she was showing so much attitude when i asked her that we didn't order carrots when i specifically said celery and at every buffalo wild wings through out the US my husband and I order the same thing and she is like we don't do split sauces here except Thursdays i am like well can u ask your manager to be sure because we have been ordering the same thing through out different days and on many many different locations for the past two years. And she rudely said to me that she has been working here 9 years and blah blah and she didn't wanna go ask the manager because of her attitude! ABSOLUTELY SHITTY SERVICE!!!!!! everytime i come here it's so great and everything's so good and the waitress is usually so good! but i came on valentine's day with my boyfriend and our waitress came to our table like 4 times the whole time we were there. we paid with a card, and we left her a CASH TIP!! CASH. we left and we realized we forgot our card in the check book. so we called to see if they found it and they kept putting us on hold being very rude when they could've walked over and just checked, but that's not important we got the card back blah blah. but my bf called to see how much was left on his card and realized the waitress took her own tip off the card. she gave herself an $8 tip when we clearly didn't do that and we left her a cash tip. that isn't right to take your own tip off someone's card!!!!! read more

Honestly not sure what went wrong with everyone else's experiences at this location? I LOVED mine this afternoon! Went in for lunch today as my home town Detroit Tigers were playing an afternoon game. Being from Michigan I had a lunch punch card that was full. I thought that only Michigan Franchises participated in this promotion but I came to find out that his location does as well and they honored my Michigan punch card! Food was AWESOME as well! I will try to keep this review as short as possible, but our experience at this BWW location was less than satisfactory. We were a party of 4, and after being pleasantly greeted by our waitress, Bianca, we took a moment to look over the menu. Before leaving the table, Bianca suggested that instead of each person ordering a snack size (about $9 for 8 wings), we could order a large (about $20 for 24 wings) and all split the wings which would obviously save us money. Having been to other BWW locations, we have always ordered wings in different size portions and different sauce divisions. For example, I have ordered a snack size and split it into two different sauce flavors, and I've also ordered a small size and split it into 3 different sauce flavored. However, after already suggesting that we could order different sizes to save money and saying she can divide them however way necessary, when we were ready to order she informed us that we could not split sauce flavors more than twice in one size because the kitchen would not allow it. The only reasons we were irritated by this is because 1. We have done so at other locations and 2. We were irritated with Bianca because she was the one who suggested we could "divide the wings however we wanted to". But now suddenly the kitchen wouldn't allow it. So we ask to re-evaluate our order so that we can make it easier on her. Bianca then offers the idea that we split the portions into two sauces only, and then the leftover would be brought to the table as "plain", and she would bring the sauces that we wanted so that we could dip our wings that way. We politely rejected the idea because we didn't want to have to sauce our own wings at the table. After re-evaluating our order, we finally came up with a solution. Our large order would be 16 sweet BBQ, and 8 garlic Parmesan. Apparently our waitress neglected to tell us that you can only split the two sauce options directly down the middle for each portion (so 12 and 12). She became visibly irritated, sighed and said "i don't think they'll let me do this. But I'll try". We then tried to order our snack size and she proceeds to inform us that we cannot divide the snack size into 2 flavors AT ALL. At this point, we gave up and ordered it in a small size instead. When our food arrives, Bianca explains that the kitchen refused to split the 24 wings by 16 and 8 instead of 12 and 12. So she divided them how she saw fit, and brought some wings plain with a side of the sauce we wanted. EVEN THOUGH WE SAID WE DID NOT WANT TO DO IT THIS WAY. She did not check with us to make sure it was okay before putting it through to the kitchen. Again, at this point we were irritated so we were just happy to have our food. So we had to sauce our own wings at the table. We asked for an extra sauce because it wasn't enough to cover all of the wings, and we got an "okay" and an eye roll from the waitress. The rest of the service we got attitude and eye rolls. Also, there were two pieces of chicken in our orders that were the size of M&M's and they apparently counted as "wings". The carrots were also nearly rotten as they were chewy and didn't "snap" like carrots should when they're fresh and they had white residue all over them. The main points: the kitchen apparently will not let you have more than 2 sauces in one size, and if you want to split sauce flavors you have to do it directly in half. Even though this is not written anywhere on the menu, and we have done so at other BWW locations. If these are the rules, that's fine but we weren't expecting attitude or to sauce our own wings at the table. read more

Probably the worst wings I've ever had..and it's very hard to mess up wings. The wings were drenched in sauce and dry rub to a point where it hurts your nose. I had to run the sauce off with my napkin in order to eat it. We also ordered bacon cheese fries and they had the skinny fries which tasted like rubber. Besides the service this place would get 0 stars from me. I've been to other BWW places closer to where I live and after the experience with the food here I don't think I'll ever come back to another one. read more

My boyfriend and I always come here. I'm not gonna lie and say it's 5* cuisine and dining- it's yur typical bar food type menu. Burgers, sandwiches, wings, etc. I will say that we always get amazing service even on a busy game night! I wanted to take the time to post this because I made an online order for pick up and it wasn't ready, and they said they never even got my order when I got here. Naturally, I wasn't happy and showed them my email confirmation to prove I placed the order. I was the ass of the joke and placed it for the wrong time! So here I am currently waiting for my food to be made and they're closed. The manager and young lady working the greeting counter went above and beyond to offer and volunteer to make sure I got my order and didn't even fuss about it! Well, first off my whole time being here I wondered why the waitress didn't smile, seemed care free about whether or not we had great service. Until I saw the bill and realized you guys charge 18% for a tip without allowing the customer to make that decision. Honestly, I don't care about that, I tip regardless but that explains why she was so care free. You guys should really think about that because that's probably why she treated us like that. She wasn't exactly rude, but she wasn't caring enough to treat us like we're paying her salary. I won't write her name as I don't care to get her in trouble over this as I think it's your companies fault. But just something I think you all need to work on and think about. Servers make their money on tips, they try to get tips by great customer service so when you pre authorize tips without letting us customers know they then turn into ass holes and come to work just to work, not make your customers happy. That makes me never want to come back to Buffalo Wild Wings again just knowing that. Also, I'm a general manager at a pizza shop, so it's not like I'm just some no body who knows nothing about running a business. I turned our lowest sales volume store into an up and coming one in the business, our owner even praises me on how much we're growing. Take this advice, and pass it on.
