Max, Sergey and Nurik did a great job helping my roommate and me move. They were very professional and made an effort to make sure that our furniture was moved properly and safely. read more

They were professional, wore masks and listened to my request include not walking with shoes in certain areas of my apartment. Upfront with cost and very reasonable and on time. We recommend them for future movers and probably the best movers I had so far (Ive used two-three movers) read more

Max and his partner were fantastic! They knew what they were doing and moved all the items very carefully. I was especially impressed with how well they wrapped, handled and moved our TV, which is super fragile! They were very calm and friendly throughout the process and super reliable. I highly recommend their services and am grateful for all their help with our move!! read more

Moving is easily my least favorite activity so decided to find some help. From the first meeting to get and idea of the effort Maxim was professional and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. They provided a fair price to move us out of our 3 bedroom house from San Mateo to Tahoe/Reno area so we decided to move with them. The move was scheduled for a Friday but due to the previous job taking longer than expected they came the next morning. Even though this was not part of the plan, there was good communication the entire time so we could plan accordingly. Very much appreciated! The crew packed up all our belongings and took care to use blankets and plastic wrap to protect all the furniture. Everything arrived in the same condition that it left our old home. If you want a local move or long distance, and care about your stuff handled properly then look no further. Maxim, Alex, and Sergi will get it done right at a fair price. Will refer to any of my friends in the Bay looking to move. read more

Great service with very reasonable price and no hidden fees or any other surpise. Highly recommend this moving company. Many thanks!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 100/100 experience. Max was super responsive and flexible in the planning stages. Honest fee quote. The movers that came were a dream. Respectful, kind, fast, super strong, took amazing care of fragile art and antique furniture. So friendly and checked in with me about everything. I will only use this mover from now on!! Thank you UMOVE!!! read more

Thanks to Maxim and his team making my move hassle free from San Jose to San Francisco area. I appreciate their hard work and professionalism for descent pricing. Three reasons why I would use Umove service again: They used truck space effectively so they were able to move at one time all my stuff(I was surprised how they fit my 3 bedroom furniture in one time). Even I contacted few days before Maxim was very quick in response and helped me schedule move earliest date I expected. By giving different options of move he was considering my time and budget as well Good luck guys. read more

Maxim and his team were great! Quick response to our request and best service. They are very professional and equipped with tools. I highly recommend them. read more

Maxim, Kirill and Alex are the best anyone moving could hope to find EVER! So STOP your search RIGHT HERE!!! Moving can be stressful as movers are known to gouge. The first one I called quoted me $3k to $5k for an LA to San Jose move and I hung up in 30 sec. UMOVE is a HIDDEN GEM and hard to find as it took some digging. 30 sec into the call I had a sense of relaxation & calm overcome me as my gut told me this was the real deal. Very straightforward, transparent and itemized without being prompted not to mention the professional politeness and helpful nature. The care and respect showed in the meticulous packing they did very efficiently. The blankets and shrink-wrap were thoroughly applied. The result - not a SINGLE nicked item, not a single missing item not a single unexpected outcome in any respect. It was a FLAWLESS MOVE my respects to the team for showing such dedication to the job and such high regard for their customers. I feel bad giving them 5 STARS as they are too few for these stand up guys. I wish these great guys greater rewards in the future. read more

The guys showed up on time, were kind, took decent care of everything while not losing any time either. We had some rain on arriving to the new place but they kept working; offered to move things around after being done emptying the truck (no need but the offer was nice). read more

Exceptional service, prompt and on time. Extremely energetic movers, Alex and Kevin wrapped up our move in about 3 hours and even finished assembly of our computer desk, couch and bed frame in time. Very reasonable service rate and the best I got on Yelp within a week of my move, they accommodated the desired date and time of my move and made my moving experience pleasant. I have tried different services on yelp and other sites but UMOVE has by far been the best of all, I really recommend them for your move! read more

UMOVE - Quick and professional job! Arrived at destination quickly despite of weekday traffic - Movers Near Me

Five stars hands down. Every aspect of my move from San Francisco to the Peninsula was as smooth as it could go. The Communication - Max called 20 minutes before arrival to let me know his ETA. Upon their timely arrival (15 minutes into my 1 hour appointment window), Max stated all the relevant terms of the contract so all things were clear and transparent. When they needed a break, Max texted me the stop and go times so that I was clear on the time being billed. Even during their break, Max used the break to actually fill out the contract and review terms with me. Incredible transparency and hard work. The Move - Max and his colleague treated my furniture like it was his own. All the fragile items (and even stuff I didn't think need wrapping) were carefully wrapped in blankets. They effortlessly moved everything. I was exhausted just watching them work but they themselves never complained or seemed tired! The People - The team had such a positive attitude, and I had fun chatting with them. I thoroughly enjoyed their company as well as their jokes. Overall, hardworking pleasant people who know what they're doing. In short, well worth the money. If you want peace of mind, then go with Max. (I learned the hard way a couple years ago when I picked a cheap company and had furniture and art either broken or missing!) read more

These guys are awesome. Last year when I moved I was sick with the stomach flu and as you can imagine, moving is the last thing I'd want to do. Maxim and his guys came in, wrapped a large portion of my things up, had to deal with two terribly steep driveways, did the move in record time and not one nick or scratch on my things. I was so grateful for them. I'm absolutely a repeat customer with these guys. read more

Excellent service, expert movers, fast, efficient, careful, and friendly. They arrived on time and finished the work quickly. I had packed everything up before into boxes. The provided wardrobe boxes for me to easily transport clothes on hangers or awkward things that wouldn't fit into normal boxes. Very convenient. They thoroughly wrapped up soft things like upholstery and mattress in plastic wrap and tape, which protected them and made them easier to carry. You could tell they knew how to efficiently move things. Before driving, they double checked to make sure things were strapped down in their truck. They were quick to give me a quote and explain my options. The only thing they can improve on is to give a confirmation call the day before they are scheduled, just for peace of mind. They arrived on time as expected. Overall, I am very satisfied and have recommended them to my friends. read more

These guys helped us move a 4 bedroom house and it was a great experience- quick responses on yelp, no hidden charges, nice people, and they were very careful with our belongings. We did most of the packing ourselves and it still took about 4 hours for loading and unloading since we just had so much stuff. Thank you! read more

Max was very responsive, and made scheduling the move on short notice extremely easy and convenient. His team was punctual, and handled all of my items with care. We moved over 80 miles and everything arrived perfectly. The flat rate was great as it allowed me to know exactly how much the cost would be with no hidden fees or gas surcharges. Great friendly and professional service! read more

We were moving a 1-bedroom apartment, and the matter was pretty time-sensitive. Although we moved most of the boxes by ourselves, we still needed to move some bulky furniture, and the guys with their capacious truck, numerous dollies and all the necessary wrapping materials were there to help. All the item were carefully packed, boxed and moved to our new home. Moreover, they were the most affordable option of the few available. Hope they will get even more clients soon. read more

Super responsive and speedy! I hired 3 movers a couple days before moving day and was able to quickly secure an appointment. They were super friendly and went above and beyond with moving my stuff out. Both my old and new place were on the fourth floor but they brought proper equipment and were able to finish the move within 3 hours. Amazing! read more

No extra charge for weekend fee, they did slightly overcharge on time but otherwise quick efficient service. No added fee for furniture assembly or 2nd floor. Very prompt response as well. read more

Did our homework looking through different Yelp reviews and found great reviews with UMOVE as well as competitive pricing. We needed to move in May during the pandemic from a 2 br 1 ba into two separate locations. Coordinating that with Maxim was very easy and we were able to schedule something quickly. We were also given a very detailed and accurate quote and list of charges up front so we would know what to expect. We were given an arrival time frame for the morning of and then got a text they were on their way within that time frame. Alex and his colleague moved things really quickly and carefully! We moved a lot of heavy furniture, fragile boxes, and bags. Their heavy-duty dolly was impressive at moving large furniture down the little steps at the front of the house. They also followed good pandemic mask and glove protocol and made sure to keep their distance. All in all, the loading and unloading was handled quickly and with care. Absolutely no damage to my things. Alex even last-minute helped assemble a piece of furniture! I am happy with their service and would recommend. read more

I had a great experience with Alex. We had a very smooth move. No complaints. They worked as fast as possible while still being thorough. I would definitely recommend their services. Trustworthy read more

Alex and his crew did a fantastic job moving all of our stuff from our apartment to our new home recently. From carefully disassembling furniture pieces to wrapping them to boxing up loose items they took care of everything they moved as if it were a family heirloom including box after box of action figures. Asked question about where we would like stuff unloaded and moved to and took extra care on our newly refinished hardwood floors. Not a scratch. Great bunch of guys and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anyone considering a move. Thanks again Alex and please pass on our thanks to your crew! read more

The team at UMove really did an amazing job for my family as my kids and I moved into a new house. I called UMove the week before and scheduled the move between two homes to a third final destination. I evaluated a few moving companies and many had high review counts and similar ratings, but my conversation with Maksim really sealed the deal for me. They are newer, hungrier, and willing to work hard and promised a personalized service experience. The morning of the move, they showed up a little late due to some issue with the lift on a truck, but they swapped vehicles and showed up ready to work. They called me to let me know what had happened so I appreciated that. Once the move began, the three of them got to work taking apart furniture and carefully wrapping it up. They took apart things that I didn't know came apart and made moving it safely much easier. They loaded the truck and tied things down so there would be little to no movement in transit. They covered all the furniture to protect it and every piece made it to the final destination with no additional marks or damage. I felt bad because a few of my things must have weighed hundreds of pounds (or more!) and they never complained out loud (I'm sure they talked about it on the way home or where I couldn't hear though!). Some of the heavy pieces even had to go upstairs at the new place and they did it without damage to the furniture or the walls! I was impressed and thanked them for their caution and care! Overall, I would definitely recommend them and suggest you take a chance with this highly professional team. They went the extra mile many times for me and my kids, worked quickly, carefully, and even put things together in a way that made the move easier on us all so kids could sleep in their beds that very night! I have never submitted a review before, even though I trust and use Yelp REGULARLY, but I really wanted to help UMove by submitting my unsolicited and grateful experience working with their company. Thanks Maksim and team!! You made a very difficult move manageable and the kids and I really appreciated your hard work!!! read more

I used Alex and his crew to help me move a few heavy furniture pieces from a storage unit in to my 3 story home.
