Great attitudes, ready to work mindset. They aren't here to stand around, if they see something they can do, they're doing it. Great value and they got the job done in 3 hours when it would have taken me all day and then some. read more

As a realtor, I've had the opportunity to work with West Valley Movers and Joey Frater on several occasions while helping my clients transition into their new homes. Every single time, Joey and his team have been professional, reliable, and incredibly hardworking. Moving can be one of the most stressful parts of buying or selling a home, but West Valley Movers consistently make the process smooth and seamless. They show up on time, treat every item with care, and go the extra mile to ensure nothing is overlooked. My clients always feel at ease knowing their move is in good hands, and that kind of peace of mind is priceless. I can confidently recommend Joey and West Valley Movers to anyone in need of a moving company--they've become a trusted partner in my business, and I know I can always count on them to deliver excellent service. read more

I researched various movers and then settled on West Valley. They're made up of two local families and their crews. Nick came right away to offer an estimate--their estimate came with insurance and licensure information, as well. They were quite aboveboard and very accommodating. When the day came, they worked quickly and carefully to pack our belongings and load them into their truck. Immediately, I felt very comfortable with the very kind crew. They took care of everything and unpacked the boxes into our new space. They had a carpet to protect our floors and did their best to avoid causing any damage. If you're looking for movers, give Nick and Joey a call. Their rates are fair and the work is very good. read more

Greatest moving company! Super fast, always reliable, greatest pricing. They will help!

Outstanding service. Joey came by to review our house to give a quote. He also gave valuable advice for how to speed up the move and save us some money. On the moving day itself, he and his crew were efficient and professional. We were impressed by how quickly they worked and also how good they were at packing our storage unit tightly to the brim. Tetris masters! We have moved many times over the years. This is the best moving company we've hired. read more

We've used 3 different moving companies in our lifetime and West Valley was far and away THE BEST one! So helpful and friendly. They got the new house furniture set up for us, did a great job with garage Jenga-ing. Came in under estimate because they said we did a good job packing. All furniture came in with no damage. A great experience, highly, highly recommend! read more

We used West Valley Moving Company to move most of a three story townhouse to a much smaller apartment as we downsized our life. Joey and his team did a tremendous job getting furniture out of the original location into a more compact layout that involved some involved maneuvering. They did all this is substantially less time (and less money) than quoted. The are one of the best moving companies that I've ever used, and I will be using them again for the next move. read more

Highly recommend fully licensed West Valley Moving Co. Not only did they provide an in-person estimate for our out-of-state move, but they quoted an inclusive final price. Moreover, their experienced moving staff are experts in what they do. For example, upon arrival, the movers led by "Fluffy" shrink wrapped furniture, boxed up pillows, and took care of protecting belongings before loading on to the truck. There was a four-man crew for the loading and then Fluffy and Quentin did the driving to the destination and the unloading. This team knows the proper way to load and unload without damaging your belongings. If you are looking for an efficient, experienced, and personable moving team, hire West Valley Moving Co. and ask for Fluffy and his team. Your belongings will be treated with care, expertly packed in the truck, and unloaded without damage. Don't take chances with your move. Hire West Valley Moving Co. read more

Nick Church and Joey came in and rocked the move out without a problem. The moved a 5 bedroom house from San Jose to Portland like it was something they do all the time. Oh, wait they do it a lot. As people move out of the high priced San Jose area, Portland has become the one of the moves of choice. These guys took great care, they loaded three 26 foot trucks and convoyed out. Everything arrived as planned without any damage. they assembled all beds and oved all the boxes to storage. I couldn't be happier with this team! read more

Nick the owner is amazing to deal with! They arrived on time, in masks and moved our business. It was hard to close down a business due to covid. They even took a picture for us to remember our old space by! Thanks West Valley Moving! read more

One year over due review! Nick helped us scheduled a move last minute. They accommodated us without hesitation. 2 guys came on time (sorry forgot their names) and started the move right away. They were very careful with our furniture, plants and all other stuff. It was one of the hottest day in San Jose that day and they were still non stop loading the truck. Very professional, kind and easy to talk to. It's very rare to find genuine people and you can find them in this company. Thank you for helping us move. read more

Great company and amazing service! Matthew and Troy did a great job helping me move. They were very quick and efficient, the whole move took less than 2 hours and everything went very smooth! I reached out to West Valley Moving Co (WVMC) from a friends referral and WOW these guys didn't disappoint. Their service was fast, friendly, and phenomenal! They loaded up all of my things quickly and professionally and were even willing to do the move the day before Thanksgiving. I was in a bit of a pinch due to moving out of my ex's place and they were able to get me scheduled and on the books in less than a week and get me out in good time. They had mats laid down in both the place I was moving from and the place I was moving into so that they didn't damage the floors. They were super fast loading up the truck and equally fast with unloading. They even helped me move a piece that was too clunky that I had delivered to the house! I had booked/arranged everything with Nick and Casey and Ivan were the guys who came to help move. They were so nice and you could tell they weren't trying to leech time out of customers to make extra money, true professionals! I will 100% use these guys again if I move again and would highly recommend using them. read more

These guys are absolutely awesome! They moved me from San Jose to the Oregon coast just a couple of weeks ago. They ALWAYS showed up right on time, we'very personable & took care of my things like they were their own. They covered all my furniture pieces with quilts, then shrink-wrapped the pieces. All my furniture was handled with great care. My household was packed & loaded on a truck & the items stayed on that truck until they got to my new home in Oregon. Nothing was broken or damaged. The furniture was placed where I wanted it. The guys even put sliders under my heavy pieces at my request. They did not leave until I was satisfied with the placement of everything. There were no extra or unexpected charges added. When I left San Jose, I knew exactly how much I would owe once my items were delivered. I really can't say enough about this company! They are wonderful! I would give them a hundred stars if I could! read more

Shame on me for not writing this review a while ago. We used West Valley Moving Co for a move from one residence and storage unit to another residence a few years ago (I just rediscovered the card recently). I found the customer service excellent, each of the movers were nice and patient and the price was right! I hope I don't have to move anything soon, but I will use West Valley Moving when I do move even if I have to adjust dates, etc. read more

If I could give West Valley Moving Company 10 stars I would. These are special humans. I had an enormous refrigerator that I needed moved. I called multiple movers and no one was willing to help. Prior review: It took a while to figure out why our move was such a mess compared to two friends of ours that also used WVMC, and our best guess is that no one from the family was at our move. Given those two recommendations we booked them without hesitation. However we observed a different service altogether, even one of our friends that came by said wow they didn't do that for our move. They also said someone from the family was present to work and observe the crew. In our move they didn't wear masks (required by the county and state at that time), used our personal property without asking, and half the guys were on their mobile phones, and often at that. We reached out to the company multiple times, never heard back. Never again. Breakage was better than usual, moving time was slower than usual. Always ask for blankets in advance and wrap yourself, no sense in paying that hourly rate for packing unless you have money to burn. Update: Moved again. Took half the time, cost less hourly, and we moved additional items. Checkout allstars. read more

Honest and hard working. Joeys team is upbeat and kind. They took such good care of my belonging that it was a huge relief. I was in a bind due to another company canceling me on very short notice and Joey was so responsive over the weekend and we were able to arrange my move very quickly. Can't thank Joey and his crew enough. Privately own businesses are so important these days. read more

Nick and Joey helped move my house over the weekend. Great team, right on time and very courteous. They were very professional, careful with all my furniture and the house. One of the best parts was that they had capped the number of billable hours for the move, which gives one a huge piece of mind. Thanks Nick and Joey. You were amazing. read more

West Valley did a great job moving our entire house out of the Bay Area. Joey was incredibly responsive to questions/requests and provided an incredibly transparent quote. On moving day, the crew showed up promptly on time and had the truck packed in no time. The following day they delivered everything promptly on time, reassembled furniture and cleaned up. Everything was delivered with zero issues. Highly recommend this crew. Thanks Joey, Fluffy, Matt and crew! read more

We used West Valley to move our house and could not be happier with the results. They responded promptly when requesting a quote and were able to schedule us in the time frame we needed. Our moving crew of Fluffy, Rigo, Matt and Gabriel were great! They worked quickly and safely, protecting all of furniture and other items very well. We needed some pieces dropped in our storage unit, and they wrapped them thoroughly so they would be well protected while in there. They finished on the low end of the time estimate we were given and were really great to work with. We would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them to anyone else. read more

A little pricier than expected but worth it. I've hired movers in the past who would show up like they were literally picked up off the street in a beat up box van. But the guys from West Valley came very organized, equipped with the proper tools, and were 100% professional throughout the move. I also appreciated that they wore masks and followed my instructions without any mishaps. With so many choices out there, you can't go wrong with West Valley Moving Co for your professional relocation services! read more

West Valley moving did not disappoint!. Right from the beginning, Nick was friendly and provided a clear assessment of our costs. During the move date, his crew was courteous and had a backup truck ready, at no charge to us if they ran out of space in the original truck that they had charged us for. The unpacking went smoothly too. Nick and his team are also really good at ensuring that all items are handled carefully during moving. The leg for our piano pedestal broke and Nick kindly offered to replace it with a brand new piano in exchange. One of our antique furniture pieces broke and was repaired and made to look as good as new. Highly recommend them! read more

Thank You Hayden, Fred and Gabe! They emptied our apartment and helped us move everything to our new home! They come super ready with a huge truck. It all lasted 4:45h (from Sunnyvale to South-ish San Jose). They carefully packed sofas and speakers and whatever little things left over they put in in their own boxes. They dissembled and assembled beds and shelfs. After they were done they asked me if they needed to move boxes. They bring long carpets they walk onto, but did not have shoe botties (which I can understand, you don't wanna put botties on while carrying a bed!) They are friendly, communicative and really strong! Hope you guys enjoyed the burgers! read more
