We like Umberto's pizza, but today I did a carry out order and when I walked in to Umberto's the temperature inside must've been 90° plus. Just imagine walking into a pizza shop with pizza ovens blasting away and no AC. Yep it was hot. The other problem was when I called and placed the order I was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. So here I am sitting in this steam bath 15 minutes longer than that. Once I got the pizza and opened it, it was missing one of the ingredients that I had requested. I love the pizza but on this visit I'm sorry I've got to give it two stars for the intolerably hot interior of the restaurant, the delay in having my pizza ready on time . Glad I got a carry out rather than having to sit inside this oven to eat my pizza. But as I said, the pizza is great.

Popped in today right when they opened and ordered a meat slice. Arrived at my table piled high with toppings. Not overly saucy, which is great because I tend to order my pizzas with "light sauce". Crust had a nice crunch to it. It wasn't burned at all as many reviews report. Overall, I'd eat it again.

My favorite Pizza place in Tulsa. Unique style pizza. Very good. Definitely recommend. The place is not updated but clean. Been going here for over 10 years. Slices are Very generous!

Add about 18.5% to this before you order.

They post menus with prices that are 15% less, them charge a service fee on top of their already misrepresented price. They pointed right at the menu after I caught it and they told me those prices were out of date. I advised they should take them down since they are not correct. They turned around and walked off so they could do it to the next customer.it was taped to the podium and could have been updated with a pen and paper. Medium Supreme price from the menu was $12.75, and $15.00. Actual price was $19.97 with adders. They should honor the posted menu when they acknowledge an error. the prices were an additional 18.5% being added. I don't mind paying for it if they were upfront. Food is good, customer focus sucks. Glad I was not at the gas station using this approach!

Ok so this is a serious slice of pizza. I can't say t is my all time fav as there is something about the sauce that just needs some small adjustment but... this can definitely be a weekly visit or a man size box to feed an army or a game! Price is just spot on as well if not more than what you get at those crappy chains... So did I mention fresh and they even put that heated up toppings when you stop by for lunch? Ya boy! And if u get the supreme you really just need one slice.... Oh and get the calzone... split it with a friend and get a slice... pretty legit! Stop by... do it... get a slice at lunch... you will need a nap later!

    Supreme is perfection.

This is seriously the best pizza in tulsa. A supreme w so many toppings is literally heaven. Fast and friendly service. Love this pizza. Call in your order and go pick it up, literally easy and convenient.

A little dark? Way tooooo many black olives--all you could taste.

Waited so loooong to try this place. Right over on Harvard & in that rare occasion I hadn't cooked, hubby said he was headed that way, order & he'd pick it up. I love pizza! Thank you, hubby! The picture below is of the pepperoni/ pineapple pizza I ordered. NOT! I hate Canadian bacon. & I didn't like it. So furious I called. He remembered my order ( too bad hubby's so trusting & didn't check). I informed him of what I actually got & I could hear his frustration. Someone just fulfilled the order by rote. About an hour later (we were starved and ate some of the other one), they rightfully delivered what we'd ordered. Took way too long. No longer hungry. Frustrated, disappointed. We threw out the remaining (a lot, obviously) of 3, 14" pizzas. But those dried herbs they threw on it were still stuck in my teeth. Meh!!!

for the past year, i thought umberto's always had 2 locations. i come to find out, i went to the original location before they closed/relocated. like the old location, things haven't changed (in a good way). i got a slice of the all meats (pepperoni, ham, sausage, etc). the slice was so big & piled with toppings, i couldn't even eat the pizza new york style (when you fold it). this was the first time in history that i had to purposely eat a slice with a fork & knife. it didn't hurt to add the garlic seasoning &/or the italian seasoning as well. the wait for my slice wasn't long, i could say the same for the 14" pepperoni that was ordered as well. plenty of options to choose from, whether you choose their signatures or you make your own. slice or whole pizza, you'll be satisfied.

Much like Ava June, everything is a little funky here--not in a bad way, just different and unique. We started with cocktails; she had her usual Old Fashioned, but ordered it as a "normal", with Makers Mark, I had a glass of chardonnay (subtotal $28). She put her Makers Mark Old Fashioned near the top of the best in town ($2 extra for Makers??). We frequently split meals, so decided to share a Little Gems salad, which was VERY good. There are only a few salads in town that I like as it's just not my thing, but this one was super tasty. For our pizza we went with the limited edition Cubano as I love a good Cuban sandwich and have a tomato allergy. They did a good job of converting a sandwich to a pizza, though I thought the toppings were a little sparse for $22. I would have preferred that the pickles have been chopped into something smaller than the thick slices it came with (so it LOOKED beautiful). The best part for me is that they offer a fresh-made GLUTEN-FREE rosemary dough!!!! It was absolutely THE BEST gluten-free crust I've ever experienced hands down. My wife said that she would order it even though it's g-f. The vibe was just good, pretty crowded with a mix of generations. The space is fairly small and tight, so be prepared for the possibility of sharing a table. So if you followed the math above (which should be easy if you knew me!) it was $65 plus tax and tip, so $100 for a pizza and salad dinner.... Would I go back?? I wouldn't rule it out given the fantastic gluten-free crust, but would likely consider somewhere else that I consider a better value before beating a path back to Lofi.
