Just a couple of days ago we had a horrible experience at Mazzio's in BA but we were in Sapulpa for work and my husband has always LOVED Ken's pizza. There aren't any in Tulsa anymore so we just had to try Ken's and see if it was the old school yummy pizza that we knew and loved. WOW they still taste the same, have the same great customer service and we were thinking Mazzio's needs to go bank to the old school style. I had the salad bar and it was great. Husband had all you can eat pizza and salad. He was not disappointed and chowed down that pizza before I even got a picture. He tried their cinnamon sticks and his eyes rolled back in his head because they were so good. I think we'll have to head to Sapulpa when we want some good pizza again. read more

The inside of the restaurant looks like it did in the 70's and the pizza was old school delicious. Excellent friendly service from the manager. The buffet was shutting down when we walked in, but the manager said he had a really good deal to offer us. And it was! $19.99 the Couples special: 13" one topping pizza, two drinks and two one trip salads. We got the thin crust, half peperoni and half sausage (no extra cost.) This was delicious pizza. Perfect thin, crispy, crust, not too much cheese or tomato sauce, topped with fantastic sausage and pepperoni. It was a really enjoyable lunch and a heck of a bargain. I ate at Ken's Pizza many times in Altus OK. In fact took my girl friend (now wife). Many times, we'd order a large pizza with a pitcher of Pepsi, share our booth, and drinks with many friends. Loved the times and the food. Ken's in Sapulpa OK delivers what I remember, in spades! Only thing different is no pitchers of drinks, and no friends coming to our booth, it is now filled with grandkids. Love that there are still a few Ken's Pizza parlors in this world. I like eating here all the time. I typically don't prefer pizza, however I can't get enough of their cheese bread pizza! I have been going there for years and love all of the staff. Just like the other guy my wife is from this area. I have a problem with some pizza. LIke the works. Something about a fungus on the pizza. You might as well be eating anchovies. I grew up on Ken's Pizza... remembered the time when they were everywhere before the old dude got divorced and started rebranding them all into Mazzio's. The pizza is pretty close to how it used to be, except that they seem to be using a blended cheese instead of just mozzarella cheese as the original Ken's did. Why only 3 stars when its something I really like? Well because they have a consistency problem. Sauce can be anywhere from not enough to what the h*&& I didn't order soup... Also the salad bar is pretty bad, also looks like the they could really clean it a little better than they do. All in all, you are probably better off going to a Mazzio's and ordering their Ken's style pizza... so this place is really only a go to place for a buffet where you get a much larger selection of Ken's pizza than you would ordering at Mazzio's. It probably loses a few point also for being very run down inside with a decor that looks like you've time warped back to the early 80's. read more

Until this restaurant, I had never been to a Ken's Pizza before. I love the customer service at this restaurant. The staff is always so friendly, and super attentive (never had to wait for service, refills, check, etc.). My family and I usually go here when we can't decide what we want to eat because Ken's does a fantastic job offering a variety of food, not to mention it is very affordable. I swear, I eat too much pizza. I love Ken's. It has a small town feel that reminds me of the pizza place I grew up with in the sticks of Oregon called Timber Jims. Now, there's not all the logging decor, the booths aren't hand crafted out of old trees, but there is a lot of wood panelling, exposed brick and an awesome orange and brown color scheme that's right out of the 70's...and that makes me think of old Jims, which is no longer in business(tear) or I'd have a review of that up already...but this is about Ken's.... Ken's is cool. And the pizza is great, too. Though I'd have to say the highlight of the buffet is the cinnamon sticks. They are that perfect combination of sweet and grease. I'm naturally a deep dish guy, but their thin crust is pretty good for being thin crust. Not brick hard, but not soft and limp, either. You won't be disappointed by the pizza here, but I dare say I have had better. What really makes this place great is the memories it kicks up for the locals like my wife and even making a transplant like me think fondly of the "good ole days." read more

This is ok pizza. It is almost exactly the same recipe as Mazzios, it's the same family. It's ok, it's kind of greasy and they use only the cheapest ingredients. It usually followed by a furious case of diarrhea. The salad bar is ok and I wish they had more vinaigrettes. It is creamy salad dressing or nothing. The buffet is ok. My name is lynndsey,i came through the drive thru and had a co worker call an order in for us and it was being paid for with her card and i was going to get it, i was rudely asked where my ID was and i asked why they needed it and she rudely said so i can make sure its you which is completely understandable i understand using someone elses card, then she closes the window and gets the manager the manager was sweet and asked for my ID and i told her that i wasnt the person on the card because my co worker was the one that called it in and im just using her card, well then i said well i understand but now im gonna have to come all the way back to work and have my coworker come all the way back out and she then says well its for your safety then slams the drive thru window, as im still sitting there on the phone with my coworker that the card belongs to and instead of asking if i needed something else or if i had another payment option i was ignored for another 3 minutes, i called when i left and asked to talk to the manager and it happened to be the same person that was in the drive thru and instead of letting the customer talk and address what i had an issue with which was only her attitude and how she handled it i was talked over and wasnt even able to get a word in so i said some hateful things which im not proud of but i will not apologize for. i do not recommend this place to anyone. rude people and terrible service! read more
