She didn't seem overwhelmed as much as she seemed absolutely indifferent to her customers... and I think she recognized how she had dropped the ball for a solid 90 minutes because ... By the time we were leaving, we asked for a to go container and after another long wait, our server never came back... someone else brought the container.... She lightly acknowledged the mess our brunch was and my meal ( that never came) was removed. I wish I would have asked for a reduced bill but I paid it and although the food we did receive was good, the experience and how it was not handled left me and my party of 6 deciding Hatch will not be visited again For $120, I did expect some sort of service or at least the offering of an apology.

Maybe they are normally fully staffed just shorthanded this morning. It was noticeable. Several diners that were in the restaurant when we got seated, had been over looked. We got service before them. I understand their frustration. A group was up front at the register waiting to be seated for over 20 minutes. The restaurant had plenty of open seating. They were overlooked. Our food sat on the counter too long before it was finally served. It was a little cool. The new streets in Sapulpa look great now that the construction is finished, but because most of the parking is behind the buildings the street can look like a ghost town even when places are actually busy. Then we headed upstairs to the speakeasy and it's a whole different vibe up there. Very cool space. Also extremely eclectic. Think Tommy Bahama meets world traveler's curio cabinet. There were travel finds from around the world displayed in cases, parrot chandeliers, a baby grand piano, and a cheetah print pool table. It somehow all works. Live music was by Steve Lindell and he was fantastic. Two thumbs up. Bar service was great, just a little slow -- but to be fair I don't think they were expecting a 40-person birthday group to roll in all at once. All in all it was a fantastic night.
