We don't get donuts often, so we tried the Daylight Donuts on 71st near Adams a couple of weeks ago. What a disappointment. This morning, I wanted to give Tigers Den Donuts a chance to win our occasional business. What a great choice I've found. The shop is clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and the choices were enormous. I wanted a maple bacon long John, but there wasn't any in the display. The employee asked if I would like her to make me one? I said please, make it 2. I also ordered 2 standard glazed along with my requisite test donut, my favorite, an apple fritter. I also ordered a cinnamon knot because I liked the look of it. The maple bacon long john was awesome. It was light and fluffy, a good amount of maple glaze, and an extraordinary amount of crispy bacon. One of the best I've ever had. My wife said the glazed donuts were simple, but good. I knew the apple fritter was going to be epic, because my first bite had a good amount of apple bits in it. The fritter density was spot on. It was moist, flavorful, and loaded with apple. The cinnamon knot was similar to a cinnamon roll and was very tasty. We definitely found our go-to place for our occasional cheat day treat. Love their donuts but the best thing is their sausage rolls. Just wish the did the whole sausage and not 1/2. Usually sells out of not spicy baked ones first. They also have fried and both types are in choices of not spicy and spicy. Love that they have mustard to top the roll. The only problem is sometimes the tables are all dirty and food on floor but that doesn't always happen and may have been caused by a rush or a bunch of kids and they only have 1 counter person. This place has really gone downhill over the past year. I don't know what changed but the baked sausage rolls are no longer as good as they were and sometimes the donuts are no longer airy and are too dense. We keep trying because it is sometimes on point but I think today was our last visit. read more

Wow. We just did not care for the flavor of these donuts. We tried a variety but didn't finish any of them. They were dry and dense. The fritter was not crispy like a fritter should be. The angel Puff marshmallow filling had a chemical flavor to it. The restaurant did have a cute interior and really nice customer service. Unfortunately, won't be back. :( read more

The Bismarck & Maple Bacon donuts were really good. With numerous flavors to choose from for the Bismarck, I went with raspberry. Maple Bacon was really good, not too sweet. I'd recommend to heat that one up. The lady that took my order was nice & very helpful. I just left Tiger Den donuts admittedly, I don't go there very often. I just wanted to grab a pinecone, after she bagged it and rang it up. They were going to charge me almost 5 dollars for one donut I am disgusted. I know we're having problems with inflation, but this is ridiculous, just yesterday I went to a different donut shop and got two sausage rolls two bags of donut holes and one glazed donut for just over $10. Tigers den, all I have to say is you are ripping people off if this is what you truly charge for one donut and it wasn't even very big! Today was our first visit to this donut shop. We recently moved here from Florida and had been going to daylight by our house however after todays visit at the den we will not be returning to daylight. I went in around 10:15 this morning (Saturday 6/01/19) and the donut case was pretty full. They offer a LOT of cake donuts, and a few glazed, that are covered in different icings and candy/cereal toppings à la Hurts Donuts. The donut flavors are not marked but the workers at the counter should be able to tell you what's what. The younger worker that helped me today was obviously in a hurry to end my transaction as quickly as possible. I told her it was my first visit and she told me to take my time and look at everything, but she didn't mean it. I ordered one donut and before I could tell her the next donut I wanted she popped my first donut into a bag, flung it onto the counter next to the register, and started to walk away. I told her I needed a few more. Got one donut name out of my mouth, same thing happened: bag, counter, walking away. Before she got too far I asked her if they had anything with apple and she said they normally have apple turnovers and fritters but I was too late. I started to order a cinnamon roll and she said 'do you know about how many donuts you want?'. I said 4 - she put my cinnamon roll into one of the other bags and started to help another customer. For anyone counting that was 3 donuts and I was planning to buy 4. I was tired of feeling rushed so I went to the register to pay. The woman at the register was friendly and asked if that was everything, to which I replied 'I guess so'. I ended up with a blueberry cake, a cherry cake donut with cream cheese frosting, and a chocolate pecan cinnamon roll for $3.90. The cake donuts are amazing and I will definitely be back for those. The cinnamon roll was good but the glaze was WAY too sweet. All in all they have a solid product but being rushed kind of left me with a sour taste in my mouth. read more

I'm from Houston and I did not think anything could compete with my beloved Shipleys donuts. But then... I met Tiger's Den donuts. And dare I say, they may be better than Shipleys. I'm pretty simple when it comes to donuts. My favorite has always been regular glazed, but their old-fashioned donuts are right on its heels for most favored status. We were in Broken Arrow OK visiting my sons family. So I googled donut places and Tigers Den popped up. So first a young lady approached me and asked what I wanted. I told her I didn't know that we were just visiting. She took the time to explain what everything was. I got a Cajun pie which was excellent. We also had a fried pie, one with apple filling and one with cherry filing and they were so flavorful also. While the food was super the service was even better. The young lady that was working the counter at 7:30 on September 14th needs special recognition for being so customer service friendly. read more
