The service was good and the establishment was very clean and seemed very high class. There was a robot that served our drinks! The food was great! PS the restrooms were very clean.

Service to start was slow. In my opinion, since this restaurant is new... maybe think about asking, is this your first time here? Or can I explain how the menu works? can help a customer. Our first server took a bit to get to us. Our second server was great. The soju drink was delicious but spendy. Made by human, delivered by a robot. Now on the the food: I love hamachi so I had to order it. It was pretty good. Nice flavor with a little crisp to the skin. We ordered the Unami hot pot special bc it was just simple, and the 3 of us didn't have to agree on or decide what to add. I did not care for the soup base, but the meats and fresh veggies were good. Overall, it was o.k. I would give another try for the grill side of the food.

Food was amazing they even have a remote robot delivering your drinks ! Service was great

    There delicious soju shots

Their food was delicious and incredible. I loved all the different options they had. My whole family everyone got different appetizers and we all had the hot pot and everyone loved it all . The waitresses and servers were so kind and right on point we needed anything they were right there. The time they took to make my day so special!! My husband surprised me with my dinner reservation and they surprised us with the magical decorations and a beautiful bouquet of flowers and card as a gift for me from them! The whole family said they will be coming back!

I think they need a lot more work and time before they can start to serve people. I had to wait more than an hour before there was food on the table and I went during a not-busy time. I was a party of 3 and was told to put my name in the waitlist. There was no one in the waiting area and I was happy to plug my info in the machine upfront. Soon a party of 6 arrived after us and they were taken in to be seated first right away. Then they had us wait for another 20 more min at least. No explanation. Even after being seated, we had to wait 20 min to have anyone coming to us the table. Then waited 30 min until we got our drinks after that. I had to call someone who looked like a manager to check on our drinks. The big table of 6 was already feasting by that time. After waiting for the food over an hour, everyone at our table was upset and I felt bad for choosing this place to try. Once our foods arrived, it looked very underwhelming (you can see it in the picture). We ordered their Dinner beef broth special with supposedly lots of meats and vegetables for $79. It had a tiny little ox tail (like one tail end) and a few shreds of beef tendon tribes deep in the bottom of the soup. Beef ribs were mostly bones and very chewy. It was different than what I would normally call the Chinese hot pot. I couldn't believe I was paying $79 for this soup. Vietnamese coffee looked like someone took a big sip before giving it to me. Too much ice and not enough juice. I ended up adding water to it as I drink it. Appetizer chicken was tasty. I expect it to be tasty for 6/$18 though. Foods overall was yummy. Green herb sauce was pleasant and overall flavorful. The flavor profile for the entire place was more in Southeast Asian like Vietnam, I think? Definitely not Korean bbq, not Japanese or traditional Chinese hot pot. I was hoping for something more like Haidilao style because the ambience was on point. It felt like an elevated (and over priced) pho restaurant. It's going to be a while until I would go back to try again.

Tried the bbq here. We ordered one serving of pork belly, pork shoulder and the beef short ribs. When I asked how many oz per serving we got (it's like 5 or 6 slices). Take that for what it's worth. Overall good experience/meal, however there was something real weird about the pickled cabbage, it tasted like it was soaked in fish sauce, as opposed to vinegar which we were told. The rice was old/dry, and we also weren't sure how to eat the cut up romaine lettuce. (Too tiny for wraps although we tried) Our waitress and the server kept turning the heat down and up respectively so our bbq wouldn't cook fast enough and then the next minute be burnt to a crisp. The $6 Vietnamese coffee was literally like two sips. Nothing special and you could easily replicate this at home.

We have so far tried both the hot pot and bbq. We have loved the experience! We hope to experience more variety of foods here!

Price is extremely high for the lack of flavor and amount given. Probably the saddest hot pot my family and I have been to.

This place is cozy, cute, and has an absolutely mind blowing craft cocktail selection that frequently rotates. I am big into mixology & craft cocktails. Sadly the scene in Anchorage for cocktails is pretty bleak. We only have a handful of places with a truly decent bar program. With liquor licenses being absolutely insane to purchase I understand why most restaurants opt for a beer & wine only license, but it still makes me sad. This is a distillery first so they are producing their liquors on site. They honestly don't have to have the cocktail program that they do seeing as they aren't a bar, and yet they are absolutely killing it in the creativity department. On my most recent visit I convinced my new yelp friend, Jasmine, to head over here for some Black Friday libations. She entrusted me to be her first espresso martini drinking partner so I had to deliver. When I saw Anchorage distillery had one on their December cocktail list I knew we had to try it. I was not disappointed. It was an extremely well balanced espresso martini. I also got a cinnamon moonshine cocktail called ugly Christmas sweater. This one had toasted marshmallow & maple syrup. The flavors were a bit more watered down in this one, but I think that's just because it was over shaken. Overall this cocktail program is impressive. The bartenders are knowledgeable & efficient. The space is also cozy. Next time you're looking to try a new spot head on over to Anchorage Distillery!

Seating is made up of booths along the window perimeter, tables thru the middle area and a large bar area with more tables and stools along the counter. The menu selection is surprisingly diverse. I was happy to see halibut as the fish for their fish & chips, as it is often cod or other white fish. I find halibut to be the best. They also have a few dishes with nods to Korean and Thai flavors. There are pizzas and dinner salads too. I went with their bacon jam burger for dinner. It is cooked to your liking and has a grilled apple, cambozola, bacon jam, arugula & house mayo. This is the best burger I've had in a long time. The flavors complement each other so well. If you are a fan of bleu cheese you will really love the cambozola. It is creamy and oozy and is amazing on a burger. My spouse tried their Cuban sandwich and didn't like that the pickles were mediocre and didn't add to the overall flavors, and that the bread wasn't crisped or toasted in any way -- the way Cubans traditionally are. He also took a chance with a appetizer off the specials menu which he imaged was Brussels sprouts however it was shaved sautéed Brussels sprout leaves, over warm couscous with lots of fresh herbs, jalapeños, and heavily spiced with bold spices like fennel. It was bizarre and not like anything we've ever tried. We liked some of the flavors but all together didn't make sense to us so we sent it back, unfortunately. Our child tried the Mac and cheese that came with purple grapes and sorbet. The Mac and cheese was good although I'd advise SRH to try a larger noodle than a small shell so kids can stab it better and get it in their little mouths. The sorbet must be seasonal/rotating bc it was cinnamon honey pear and it was crazy delicious. I'd come back for just the sorbet tbh. Other than that our red-haired bespectacled server was fairly attentive and quite friendly, even on a very busy Friday dinner rush. Parking lot just outside seems easy enough as long as you can grab a spot at busy times. Will be back in the future for the fried halibut (and sorbet!).

We were traveling for business and trying to squeeze three people into the bar area, so we knew it might be a bit of a challenge. We eventually made it work, but service took a while to get rolling. That said, once it did start, it got really good. Our server FraniP did a great job. It took a little bit for her to engage and warm up with us, but once she did, she was attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel much more welcoming. Food-wise, we were impressed. Two of us ordered the burger and it was honestly excellent--made with a blend of ribeye and tenderloin, and you could taste the difference. Really well constructed and flavorful. I went with the mushroom soup and a Caesar salad, and both were solid choices; fresh, satisfying, and better than your average "safe" menu items. The cocktail selection was also strong, but the smoked old fashioned was way too sweet. It needed to be toned down on the sugar to let the bourbon and smoke shine through. Overall: great food, great drinks selection, and a good bar atmosphere.. just be prepared for a slower start on service during peak nights.
