Ambience was a little cold but we thought the restaurant was decorated nicely. Popped in after shopping and we were a bit disappointed with our lunch. Chicken ramen was bland and had no chicken flavor in the broth and the chicken karaage grossed me out a bit after a bite. Noodles were basic had to add a little bit of spice but instead of being offered togarashi or any spicy sauce the server just gave me chilly oil. Oof, and the broth was already oily. Hello heartburn. The chicken katsu curry was also extremely bland and had no flavor. Not to mention the rice being mushy!!!! As an Asian person it's a bit insulting to be served poorly prepared rice from an Asian run Asian food restaurant. Our server was ok until she never brought out our drinks before our food. And only brought them out when it was time for us to get the check. Overall the experience left much to be desired but the other employees that walked by were nice. Unfortunately I can't recommend this spot as worth trying to anyone else... hope they improve their quality of food and services in the future.

    Takoyaki

I just tried their takoyaki, and I was delightfully surprised that it tasted pretty decent (considering that were in a mal food court). The shape is off (they didn't fill it more and roll it all the way around to make a full sphere), and there are no moving bonito flakes on top or anything, but the taste was great, texture was decent. Not the best takoyaki I've ever had, but good enough to satisfy. I ordered at a kiosk and it was also done really fast. To top it off, it only cost $5.95 for 6 pieces. A nice snack for a stroll through the mall. I'll be back eventually to try some more items on the menu!

    Disgusting and greasy chicken

THE MOST DISGUSTING RAMEN IN THE WORLD!!! This can't be called Ramen... Maruchan tastes better than this. Don't be scammed, I paid (and lost) $25 for a ridiculous and tasteless portion, I tried it and threw it in the trash. There's more expensive than the restaurants where they make them from scratch. Also, Is not the same size as displayed, it's MUCH SMALLER and literally water with stuffs on top. The chicken was extremely greasy, cold and rested, old. This place should close, terrible way to stole the people money.

5 star ramen. Pretty tasty and fast.

Pretty tasty, authentic, fast food. No 1 recommended food in this food court. Good service and handsome owner. Everything is great.

The outlook of the ramen definitely triggered my appetite. This is the most authentic Japanese ramen I have ever had!!!

Very good ramen and very good service. The portions were just a bit small for an almost 20 dollar meal.

Good quick Japanese rice bowl. Ok for a pre-Lolla bite. Standard mall food. Sauce was quite salty.

Great ramen for a food court location. Vary flavorful and lots of meat in my Tonkatsu ramen. Attendant was suspect sweet and respectful.

The ambiance has always been cute and a nice little date spot that's easy to get into. The servers have always been very kind and helpful. We did not realize that they changed to a more premium style. All you can eat menu as an option. Typically with all you can eat options. You have very limited roll selections, but here they have a lot of chef specials on the menu as well as hand rolls sashimi and nigiri. The fish quality didn't change at all! It's still really good. We're typically turned off from all you could eat restaurants due to the fact that their rice to fish ratio is pretty high. That is not the case here. The sushi rolls are still billed in a very cohesive manner. The flavors hit your palate perfectly and are not buried in rice. The all you can eat option may be more expensive than competitors in the area, however, their quality is second to none in this tier. We will definitely be coming back and frequenting this option because you get great quality for a great price!!!

We paid for their AYCE menu which includes a set menu; there's a disclosure on the menu "any leftover rice will be charged for" Understandably, if customers are unreasonably wasting food. We ordered two small rounds of sushi and didn't even want to eat anymore because the quality of fish was so disappointing. The amount of rice they put in the rolls is embarrassing. I'm from Japan and it's so disappointing and honestly heartbreaking that some people will eat here and will create a first impression of sushi which may cause them to not enjoy it from then on. For 4 sashimi, 4 nigiri, 3 hand rolls, and 2 maki, it took them one hour. $80. Sushi Taku is significantly better AYCE in Chicago, Sakana with the same namesake in Las Vegas, NV is significantly better as well. Side note, the waiter and waitress were extremely nice. We arrived on a Saturday around 7:30 and they started getting packed and had a wait by 8. They are cash only but if you forget they have an atm inside as well! Prices are so shocking! Each bowl was about $14 which is the cheapest I've seen a bowl of pho in a looooong time. Food comes out pretty quickly. We order the appetizer fried shrimp Rangoon, bun Bo hue, pho dac biet, and avocado smoothie w/boba. The base of soup for both dishes was AMAZING! Good depth of flavor and not lacking anything. The bun Bo hue had a ton of meat and they even have the pork blood cubes! Pho dac biet was lacking a quantity of meat but good variety. The only complaint I have is the Avocado smoothie was very bland and didn't have much avocado taste. The boba tasted old because it didn't have its chewy texture anymore. Will DEFINITELY be coming back for the food!!!

Best of all, the prices are very affordable compared to other places I've tried. The goi cuon is only $5.50 for two rolls, while other restaurants charge around $7.50. I highly recommend this spot. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash, although there's an ATM inside.
