Food is "fine", very typical Americanized Chinese food. Quickly made, big portions and hot when we got it home. I did not care for the egg rolls. The crab rangoon are sweetened, not what I am interested in. General Tsaos chicken and Kung Bao Chicken both had no heat and the Kung Bao had a strange flavor, almost tangy but not spoiled or anything. The lomein was the best but even that is just ok. Fried rice (w/lunch specials) flavor is just salty and yes, it's plain just like they say, not a single thing in it - no onion, no egg, just all rice. I doubt I will order from here again. read more

Surprisingly good! The ingredients are fresh because I saw them get their food delivery one morning and it was all fresh vegetables. Another underwhelmed Chinese food experience here. It was not good but just ok as it only relieved hunger pangs. I ordered curry chicken which tasted like I ordered from a bootleg Indian bistro. The exotics spices were not what I was expecting from a Chinese take out joint. The flavors just weren't good and sometimes less is more. They had zucchini in there (ewwww) with carrots, snow peas, broccoli and onions. When I've had curry chicken from Fong's in West Palm Beach, they kept it simple (curry chicken, onion and green onions) and it was great. Had one night layover at O'Hare from an international flight and also fell ill so had a craving for greasy Chinese. This is exactly what I got! Ordered the Szechuan fish, veg spring rolls, and hot and sour soup. Here's a quick synopsis of the order. Szechuan fish was very tasty- came with carrots, bamboo, baby corn, green pepper, and water chestnuts but the sauce is super tasty and proportion of fish vs veggies very good (more fish than veggies). Veg spring rolls were just ok- the filling was very minimal with glass noodles making up most of the filling and I'd also say the hot and sour soup was also meteoker. Also portion size was def of value as the fish alone would easily be enough for 3 people. They changed owners a little while ago. The food is not the same as it used to be. Kung pao chicken once was the best and now tastes different and bland. Menu isn't the same and I'm very dissapointed because I'm been coming here since late 90s and the food was always great until now with new owners and cooks. Fortunately the fried rice is still the same. Which I was scared they would change but thankfully they didnt. Only good thing about China kitchen is extremely fast delivery.
