In the beginning a clerk led folks to believe would-be-clients that she was the owner-- friendly to get your business, but then she was too busy to be considerate once you were a client. When she disappeared, her staff that took over were arrogant and treated clients like their storage was company property and spent much time and talk on the burden of evicting and cleaning up after customers. There was a sense that things were out of control. Then one day this young woman was at the front desk. Her name is Dominque. She greets every one with a pleasant demeanor and patience when having to multi-task. She seems to put herself in the shoes of the clients and has forethought of what they might need and offers them options and on top of that she helps them break down what would be most cost effective for them. Then on top of that her efficiency with the paper work and computer system is seamless and makes me feel at ease and confident about how the whole place operates now. For example her staff came up with solutions how to keep the restrooms clean and vagrant free. She has been there for many upgrades. She makes sure clients are happy and informed. I have moved several times far away and am comforted that my precious items are secured and that if the staff needs to reach me for any reason they call or email me. That is so important when one is far away. Customer service is something I pay much attention to where ever I go. I have told her, she is the best. I am grateful for her lead because it is evident in that all the staff has a positive vibe now. God bless them.

It began with the deal Public Storage offers on their website to you if you commit online to a unit. They take 15% off your monthly rent for as long as you keep the unit, if you sign up online instead of waiting until you go to the facility. It is so much easier to do it that way, besides all the money you save! After you get there and check the unit out to make sure you like it, all you have to do is initial a few spots, sign and you are all done. Irene in the front office is amazing. She is super sweet, and has every answer to any question you can come up with regarding your new storage unit. She even bypassed some of her scheduled lunch time to make sure I was completely happy, and all bases were covered. She is smart and pleasant. I feel my things will be well guarded with Irene in charge. The rates were much less than I expected, even with the purchase of mandatory insurance, which is a monthly fee of a minimum of $9.00 up to $24.00 a month depending on the value of your possessions. I think mandatory insurance is a fantastic idea, as I have been a victim of theft and vandalism at a previous storage facility in Ventura, only to find out after the crime was committed that I was not covered by any insurance, which I believed was included in the monthly fees. The unit is easily accessible and they are open every single day until 9 pm. I am very happy with my choice!

When I authorize an autopay, it's for the amount I EXPECT. This is an unacceptable business practice but I guess they think they can get away with it because of the high switching cost to go somewhere else. Oh and did I mention the rodent infestation? Yeah that's been fun to deal with. Mouse crap everywhere and the critters chew up your belongings as well. I strongly advise you seek a storage unit elsewhere.

Sonia along with her kids and the many volunteers that come together to put these awesome bags together for children ranging from infant to teens that are suddenly taken out of their homes without any warning. They are donation based and so with that they are always in need of clothing, toiletries, coloring books, things that are both a necessity & then that small item that might be able to give a child a bit of comfort in a traumatizing time. I had the pleasure of putting together a donation collection through my office last year, the picture I posted does not even do justice as that box was packed... We had such an outpouring of support and it goes for such a wonderful cause. A year round organization , they can always use volunteers to help put the bags together and Sonia along with her family are a joy to work with.
