[[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped here on our wine tour and got a great seat in the shaded gazebo.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was live music and good times all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wine tasting was good, we loved the sweet muscat. A trip here is not complete without getting the brie bread. So warm and gooey and it feeds several people. This is a must try. Staff was friendly my friends and I enjoyed the ambiance here alot.
Came here as a last stop before heading back home. The brie sourdough bread bowl was highly recommended so it was a must try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The pictures online make this place look a lot nicer. In person it wasn't as beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Too many tables left dirty for too long.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Apparently 7 bread bowls were ordered before us, so it took a very long time (over 30 mins) to get ours. However, it was definitely worth the wait. It was a guilty pleasure for sure, gooey deliciousness, the kind you can only take a few bites of or else you'd pass out if you continue indulging. Haha. Once I got back from the trip, I told a coworker about it and she said you can actually order it nonbaked and they'll pack it for you to enjoy at home. If that's true, I'll probably order an extra one to take home next time I'm there. I would recommend trying it if youre out in Temecula!
Came for Wine Tasting and Baked Brie Bread Bowl -Yum and Yum The Tomato Bisque in Garlic Sourdough Bread Bowl was very yummy. Wine Tasting went well with all the foods we ordered including Chimichurri Chicken Skewers and Cheesecake Trio. Staff was nice and very helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and quaint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
We recently visited Maurice Car'rie (now transitioning to Ultimate Vineyards) with a Groupon a month of so back. The property itself is nice and as one of the oldest vineyards in Temecula Valley it still holds up. The tour we received was fun and educational (albeit a bit shorter outside due to the mud from the storm a couple days prior) and our guide was friendly throughout. The wine here however was the weakest part unfortunately. I am no wine afficionado but I only cared for one of the wines given as part of our tasting besides the sparkling Mango that was thrown in at the end (which I would definitely have again along with the Pomegranate as well). We did not get to experience the world famous baked brie during this visit as we had just eaten lunch in Old Town prior to coming here but I will definitely stop in to get one of these on a return trek to the area. The visit was good but the wine itself was not great and that left me with a lower expectation for this winery as opposed to others we have visited in the area. I would come back again if in the area for the baked brie but would more than likely only come back for a bottle of sparkling wine to go unless we had friends or others in a group dying to try them out. My takeaways from our visit. Friendly service, great views, so so wine. Check them out at your own discretion as perhaps with the new changes they will create a more lasting impression and product
If after a along hard day, you're jonesing for a deep dark red (to take a bath in), you better make sure that you stop here and buy a case our two of their fabulous reds! Oh, Holy hell, they are bath worthy, drunk bath worthy. The Barbera stopped us in our tracks, so did the cab franc.

Maurice Car'rie was our first stop on a wine tour on a Thursday morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice winery with plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Based on the reviews and our tour guide's recommendation, we ordered the baked brie. I'm so glad we did as it tasted soooooo good! We snacked on it throughout the tour, and honestly, it's the reason I didn't get sick from all the wine tasting. The wine itself was really good. I'm more of a red girl, while my boyfriend usually prefers sweet sparkling wines. However, but he enjoyed one of the reds here. We ended up buying a sweet red called Sweet Dreemz, which was a great find. Service was good. Overall, we definitely will be back.
Came to this place as part of a party bus excursion. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a live band and another area with dance music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great and the wine I tried was better than most I've had at other wineries. I would definitely recommend.
This was our favorite vineyard during this trip! We came on Sunday and had to be back on Monday. The are a smaller more family owned feel type of place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. He did some great suggestions on wines to try and food items. The baked brie was amazing! It was fresh and gooey and great flavor! The pizza was a thin crust and very tasty. Their wines were good with some full bodied styles that we enjoyed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have tables outside with heaters and some inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will definitely be back!
[[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is beautiful, with a lot of grass to roam around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their sourdough bread was great. We enjoyed the clam chowder, but the brie with apples honey and walnuts were fabulous on their bread. The service was fine -- they don't come out and check on you. You order at the counter and that's it. This winery is changing its name (previously Maurice Car'rie). The wine was great and on Mondays only $7 per glass! Great steal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Iconic spot in Temecula wine country.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a great selection of wines, but what else would you expect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Gorgeous property with live music and plenty of space to sit at either a table, a cabana, or sit down on the grass.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Awesome staff! The hit of the show though is the sourdough! Get the round with Brie cheese. That and a wine tasting is the absolute move!
Had my first ever wine tasting at this beautiful, lovely serviced and wide variety of wine location! Came here with friends didn't really know what to expect or how to go about tasting, I am lucky most of my friends are wine experts though. We got a great deal for being able to taste 5 different wines for the price of two people. They also have other great deals throughout the week! The lady that helped us out was kind and patient with a big group like ours. I recommended stopping here if your a first timer - seriously good place to try our different options and really get to know what you like. I definitely stayed on the sweet side haha. The food is also a plus! Very yummy and great portions! I got the Chicken Pesto sandwich, so delicious pairs well with the drinks! Thank you Ultimate Bistro!
I stopped into Maurice Car'rie recently with a group of girlfriends for lunch after wine tasting at nearby Halter Ranch (where they don't have food). They're best known (for good reason) for their famous garlic sourdough bread baked with Brie cheese...and of course, someone in our group ordered this to share with all! I had the pesto chicken pizza which was also amazing. The casual menu has something for everyone and the food is all great. Our group shared several bottles - Syrah, Rosé Grenache and one of the sparklings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a beautiful afternoon and we took over a big table on the covered outdoor side porch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are all so friendly and helpful; service is excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were fortunate enough to meet winemaker James through his adorable dog Milo who was running around in the grassy area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. While talking to James, he graciously offered our group a very special port education and tasting from the barrel! What an absolute treat...and testament to the wonderful people who work at Maurice Car'rie!

We came here after our horseback riding which was next door. Walking in I was impressed with how nice it was. The First Lady to great us was a tall older blonde, she was extremely rude and cold to us. We got our first 2 tasters from her then could not stand her attitude anymore and went to the other bar. Michelle was the sweetest! Michelle made our experience fantastic. I originally would of gave this place 2 or 3 stars if we stayed with the other lady, but thank goodness for Michele for saving our experience. She was very friendly and very easy to talk to. She was very knowledgeable about the winery which is always great to hear. Michelle even offered my boyfriend and I 2 additional tasters free of charge! We got a taster of Merlot and she offered us an older merlot to try as well. It was really good she did because my boyfriend and I bought that bottle of wine. She also gave us free desert wine because she wanted us to end the tasting with something sweet. It was awesome! Even though we used up our 5 tasters she wanted us to have a perfect tasting experience. If that's not 5 start customer service I don't know what is! The older merlot we ended up purchasing was the last remaining bottle at the winery, and Michelle wanted it herself! Lol! She was ever so kind to gladly give it to us. My girlfriends and I had a blast at Maurice Car'rie winery during our weekend trip to Temecula! We went horseback riding right next door to start off the weekend, and the guides there recommended we try this place. It was our first winery experience there and it was a great start to our weekend! The wines may not be the best, but they are a lot of fun! They have a delicious Peach Mango sparkling wine which, let's be honest, tasted like a sweet juice. The boozy pops were a real hit with our group too! Such a fun and refreshing treat on a warm day, and it's something pretty unique to this winery. The real highlight was the Brie Bread though! The 5 of us shared one, and even debated getting a second one (even though we weren't really that hungry!). It was so crispy, ooey gooey and garlicky, yum! I absolutely love Brie, but my friend who usually hates it was still able to enjoy this meal because the Brie flavor is not that strong (unfortunately for me...) read more

Do yourself a favor and come here. Y'all gotta try this baked Brie sourdough. It's literally what dreams are made of. If there's one thing on the menu you try let it be that. This was a very laid back Winery. You make your purchases inside and they bring them out to you. We had a nice little spot under a shaded tree. The soup and dip was really good and filling because of the bread. I caution you to not eat too much bread . The bathrooms were clean. We came at the perfect time (12pm) because as we were leaving (3pm) a few party busses parked and the crowds made their way inside. They also had a few vendors by the parking lot so on the way out we made a few purchases, sterling silver rings and bracelets, plants and home made perfumes. We also saw some people bring their own food so it's perfect for picnic like experiences. read more

This winery is always a blast. Follow their Instagram to check on weekly entertainment and events. Our go to is the brie bread bowl and frozen wine. This place is usually packed on the weekends so be prepared to wait in line. Plenty of outdoor seating with shade. read more

This is probably my favorite winery here. If you're going to go winery hopping, I wouldn't skip this location because it adds a fun lively mix to the other lowkey and chilled atmosphere of the other wineries. Outdoor space makes it spacious with a live band that got the crowd grooving. The moment we walked in, I knew it was going to be a good time. We got the infamous baked brie and it did NOT disappoint! This was our 3rd stop for the day. The way they served the wine tastings on the rack was cute. Cons: I paid $19 for the bread with brie which was ridiculous! I wish I never became a member!! Horrible customer service and "member" experience. We had to pay extra to stay in the member seating area and got charged for 4 instead of 3....waited 2 hours for sour dough bread. Barmaid tried charging me twice and just a NOOOOOPE FOR ME! 1ST time I was here- I canceled my membership due to racial issues with the staff. After time passed, I resigned up because the property sold and the people were super nice BUT today........... whole NEW experience to where I want to cancel this! Worst service/ experience! Unorganized for members picking up wine oderes. Extra charged and asked to leave the member area with NO food or my wine order. Came in with a couple of potential members and left angry and disappointed. I was embarrassed, to say the very least. My option is to just have my 2 orders mailed and not go in at all. I will be canceling again. read more

Great experience mostly due to Mason. He was very knowledgeable about wines and wine tasting. He made our experience so relaxed and fun! We also had the chance to meet and speak with one of the owners. The tasting was a success, great tasting wines. I was slightly disappointed. Being our first tour.. I thought it would be more of a tour. Learning about the vineyard and how they make wine. My bad. Beautiful place. Great variety of flights of wine tastings for every pallet. Got a chicken panini sandwich and apple Gorgonzola salad to go with our tasting. Both were delicious in a gorgeous setting. We ate outside in the shade under misters. 95 degrees out but we were very comfortable. read more

This winery is so cute and fun. Bonus star for being pet (dog) friendly. They even have wine popsicles served with sparkling wine. My friend and I came here on a Saturday during Memorial Day weekend. Once you arrive at the winery you order inside their tasting room at the counter and seat yourself anywhere outside. Seating is first come first serve and based on availability. If it's a busy weekend you might actually have to circle around the lawn and wait for parties to leave which can be a little inconvenient. When I went there was live jazz music and people dancing around just having a fun time. This spot was my favorite winery out of all the ones we visited that day. There's only 2 popsicle flavors to choose from: - Mango - Berry Then you are given a list of sparkling wine to choose from. I chose pineapple and pomegranate. It paired extremely well with the popsicle and definitely tasted extra good with the heat. Overall, this place is a 5/5 experience. read more

My wife and I came here as part of a tour with Grapevine. It was awesome! Mason was extremely accommodating and entertaining! We had a lot of fun and enjoyed a great charcuterie board. Just across from the Akash winery this adorable and charming farmhouse winery is definitely worth stopping by. The baked brie bread among other items are worth a try. Brie bread is excellent if you and group are real hungry or need something to help you soak up and continue your tasting experiences. Is very big and size and baked fresh! They have an excellent tasting menu and set up. Warm local hospitality and service. Great place to buy some jams and olives stuffed with all sorts of things. read more
Fun Fact: They have a weekly crafts fair Friday-Sunday that is set up right outside the winery. This place smells like garlic bread all day. ----- If it wasn't for the Sourdough bread (more on that in a sec), I have to be honest and say I'd give a star less... This is a case of a potentially amazing winery with service and organization that needs improvement. Visited Saturday 1/26/19. Walked in - atmosphere seemed local and "old" feeling - not necessarily a bad thing. It's a smaller inside area with goodies, wines and a small bar and a very large outside area with tons of grass space, picnic benches and even a beautiful wrap around veranda. Once you walked in, you could smell the smell of STRONG garlic - ya know I LOVE garlic... (I double up on all recipes), but if you don't...this is not the place for you as they cook these sourdough brie garlic breads all day long. We went up to the BAR, and they had us to go to the register to pay for the wine tastings. They do wine tastings 7 days a week which is nice, but they did not inform us that were were ABLE TO KEEP THE LOGO GLASS!!!! So we paid $15 for a tasting. The register lady was not too friendly , but we went straight to the bar. There were two men working that night, and excuse my initial judgement here but these two men (one younger and one older) seemed like they hated their job. I waited a good 10 minutes before having to wave to them - and it wasn't that busy. The younger gentleman completely ignored us and the older gentleman after he got our attention poured our first tasting to which it splashed out of the glass. He said it was the second time he did that that day. He also almost dropped a whole bottle on the ground...my heart just about collapsed. I am not sure what is going on, but they were just off. We also paid for the Sourdough baked garlic bread filled with brie at the register. We were at the bar , 15 minutes had passed and I was wondering if I'd get my bread. Well finally I heard the lady said "is jen here" and I raised my hand. She gave me the bread and off I went outside. The start of the show and most likely the foundation to their business...is the sourdough bread was marinated with garlic and butter and baked with LOTS of brie right inside - it was amazingly delicious, scrumptious, delicious and such a great snack. Its HUGE, so its great to share with 4 people or more! Expect to take it home if sharing for two. However, biting into it...the lady that brought me the bread asked if I had paid. I said I did and showed my receipt. Apparently I took another "Jen's" bread.... and the process was..I was supposed to show the receipt outside for them to add me to the list of people waiting for the bread. WELL dog gone it..no one told me that. I felt so bad... but again here is their flawed organizational skills... I completely recommend happy smiles, explanation of how things work, and better service... those things alone will make everyone's day and their business bloom. read more

Such an amazing experience!!! We did the Groupon tour and tasting and were able to sample six wines. Our guide, Marcus, was so knowledgeable and friendly. It made it such an unforgettable experience. We learned so much and had some great wine along the way definitely coming back. read more

Visiting from Houston TX this past weekend and was not disappointed. Service given by Jesse was exceptional and he was so knowledgeable on his suggestions. My friends the Durans & the Mendoza's are both members and they knew the perfect spot. I highly recommend. read more

So this was our 2nd time at this establishment. I was really excited to try their famous brie bread. The first time we came, we saw it was baked fresh and took a 15-20 min bake time..... Welp, we ordered this at the bar, they had a warmer behind the bar with several aluminum wrapped already made bread bowls.... What a disappointment. Waste of $20. We came here for some Brie Cheese and Bread and some wine! We found a table outside and went in to order the Brie (which was about $20) and to taste and buy a few bottles of wine. Tried the Riesling and it was great! Got a bottle of that and the Sauvignon Blanc, which were both about $20+. Brie came out and it was amazingly gooey and cheesy and the garlic bread that it was baked in was very tasty! I had a glass of the Sauvignon Blanc before switching over to Riesling, since it was sweeter. Overall a very cool place. Sad to have missed the wine slushies by one week, but I guess we gotta come back earlier next season! read more

Every trip to Temecula has to have a stop here because of their baked brie bread! I've been here about 20 times and all 20 times I've had to get this bread! Just to tell you how good this bread is, my wife does not like cheese, but she will eat this damn loaf on her own! I hope they keep this around for many years to come. read more

Peach mango wine and all the other wines we tried were delish. They have our group of 15 complementary wine glasses. We also received a bread bowl stuffed with Bree cheese- the Bree was a little overpowering with all the wine tastings. However the bread was essential in helping with all the drinking we were doing. Inside you can order bottles and try a popsicle that's infused with wine - they will also put wine into a to go cup and place popsicle inside of that cup-CLUTCH! truly a great experience. They have a wall upon entering that makes for a great photo opportunity. Easy to social distance at this winery given the massive outdoor space for seating. read more

I'm a member at this winery, for a few years now... If not for the fact I "love" their wines I'd leave... Employees not always friendly and nothing on membership perks is ever the same every time we come back. I love the wines, wish they would get a restaurant.. Bread cheese bowl is amazing when available but sometimes need more food then that.. Or at least employee could be friendlier.. When I bring friends here to show off our winery we what to share a good experience but every experience is different. And I miss the members room. read more

Can I bring my own picnic/charcuterie board to enjoy with a wine flight?
We just became Wine Club members (July 2026) here and there is a sign at the entrance from the main parking lot that indicates No Outside Food or Beverages are allowed.
Can you order the baked Brie bread by phone so it's ready when you get there?
I don't think i saw a phone or heard one in that room but they have tons of them and the line moves really fast.
There used to be a great dj on Saturdays. Do they still have music?Dancing?
We were just there on Saturday Nov 6th and they had a band playing. People were dancing but during the bands break they also played music we requested. It was a lot of fun we danced as well as a lot of others.
Can I make a reservation for a table on the lawn?
If you have a large party, I believe you may call in advance. Otherwise- tables usually first come first serve. You may also bring your own chairs for the lawn. I also carry a mini table too. Depending on live music -- those times of the day- the…
Are reservations required during the weekdays?
No. Reservations are encouraged for parties of 8 or more only.
I plan to be out this way over the weekend and wondered Is the winery open if we wanted to drop by to pick up some sourdough?
Order about an hour in advance for there bread.
Is the winery dog friendly?
I've seen them outside the winery but I'm not sure if they can go inside the tasting room.
What time do they stop selling the cheese bread?
they usually stop serving bread right before closing. If they close @ 5 PM then she may take the last order @ 4 or no later than 4:30 P M
