Tossed half of the first two out and took a sip of the 3rd and tossed it too. Tried to give away the rest of our tastings to a group of ladies on the way out and they laughed saying they didn't want their! Came here on a Sunday afternoon because Nana's Tamales was selling their tamales that day. With every tamale purchase (2 tamales for $10) you get a coupon for 2 for 1 tasting. Tastings ranged from $20-30, depending on what type you chose (sweet, red, mix, etc.) and were preselected. After paying, you are given a number and your tastings (and food if you order food) are served to you at your table. The weather and atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing, and the employees were awesome, very friendly. The baked brie was warm and delicious, more than enough for our party of 5. We also got the chicken poblano soup which was served in a bread bowl. My wine tastings, however, sadly was not as good as the food. The Groupon states to call or email to make reservations, called on a Friday, no one answers the due to the fact they are "really busy on weekends." Sent an email right after and I have yet to receive a response. The older lady who "helped" gave no other options to help fulfill the Groupon purchase aside to come back. Mind you she didn't even to help offer to book the Groupon for a future date. I am obsessed with this winery. I've been frequenting Temecula wineries for many many years and somehow just discovered Maurice Car'rie through a recommendation two years ago. Ever since I tried it for the first time, it has become a must visit on our wine tours everytime we head up there. Sure their wines are good, their sangria is refreshing and their grounds are gorgeous, but the only thing you really need to know is BRIE BREAD! Oh my gosh, it's to die for! It's basically a huge garlicky bread bowl filled with melted brie cheese. We always get it as an appetizer to eat while there, but it's huge and end up bringing some home to snack on. In the parking lot, they have Some little pop-up shops, selling jewelry, hats, clothing. The place is a whole vibe . It has a little patio deck where you can eat, but a huge big grassy area . The wine selections here were delightful! We started with the Cuvee which had the perfect balance of bubbles and sweetness and the sauvignon blanc here was my favorite of the five tastings we had. The winery also specializes in sourdough and they were kind enough to provide us with a sample of their cheese and sourdough which complimented the wines very well. We were surprised they do have some good bread bowls to order and their soup selections looked good. We didn't order any but we did try the Red Sangria which was pretty good. So disappointed, we've been coming to this winery for about 15 years. We came today asked about a sweet wine we always get "summers end" the young man said oh I'm new and I've never heard of it. We have new owners and they are getting all new wines he said. So we were kinda bummed. We ordered the sourdough bread and mango peach sparkling wine. The wine was pretty good. Then we ordered 2 tomato soups , $30 dollars for two small bowls served in plastic containers with lids and it took 30 mins to be delivered to our table. It's so sad but this isn't the same place we came to all those years ago. It didn't have that family feel, they would always go above and beyond and now it feel like you're a number. Awesome winery! The wine flights were good and the boozy pops were lit! Not a big fan of sweet wines but they were actually refreshing; the mango pop paired with pineapple wine was delicious. The World Famous Baked Brie is what we came here for and it definitely lived up to the hype. So much cheesy goodness in a big sourdough bread bowl! Good for sharing for sure but don't take too long to eat because the cheesy gets harder to dip when it gets cold. The paninis were bomb too. Did a self guided winery tour with my friend and after doing minimal research on TikTok we ended up here as our second stop. TikTok said you gotta try the Brie Bread in Temecula, the comments section said you can find it only at Maurice Car'rie Winery. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon, the day before a major rain storm was coming, and there were a few people outside eating and drinking but definitely not crowded. We walked in and two young guys were working the bar and I asked them, "How do we get free wine tastings?" and they began to talk about our lord and savior. Just kidding, they told us if we joined their wine club one of the benefits is free wine tastings. We just did a wine tasting down the road and also finished a bottle of wine so we weren't really interested in another wine tasting at the time, but they did offer a wine splash which was really nice of them. While they were doing that I asked to put in an order of Brie Bread. During the wine splash demo I didn't notice that they brought out the Brie Bread! It was wrapped in foil so I didn't recognize it but it was nice and hot and ready to go with little to no wait. We went out on the deck and opened the Brie Bread and it smelled and tasted great. I was actually a fan of the sourdough bowl it came in and thought it reminded me of the Boudin's sourdough bowl (inside Disney's California Adventure). Cost was $26 so I took all unfinished parts home to re-purpose or use in another dish or eat later. The wine was splashes we tried were ok, but again we just came from another tasting and finished a bottle. The two guys working the counter were nice and fun and answered all of our questions. I asked about the 80's club they're going to host soon and they said it's $20 for non-members and comes with 2 glasses of wine and a food truck will be there. The vibe and look here is old country farm so it's definitely a lazy day, laid back, no real background music. Overall a good experience, but I straight up came here for the bread and would recommend it. They don't allow outside food or drinks on the property so leave your charcuterie in the car but it's not needed since the brie bread will fill you and your party up. read more

A few of my girlfriends and I came to this winery as part of our tour yesterday 8/23. We were greeted by an older woman who asked us for our food order. Once we received our charcuterie board we were never given or offered any plates (so we could share) or napkins. We noticed every other party that was there before and after us all received plates and utensils. The lady who greeted us never came back to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. We flagged down a gentleman by the name of Vicente who was very helpful and gave us excellent service. We made our tour guide aware of the service/experience we were given so hopefully they too reconsider bringing other people here. We had excellent experiences at the other wineries we went to. After researching places to check out in Temecula Maurice Car'rie came up and it mentioned going there for the Brie bread. My Airbnb host also said Brie as soon as I mentioned Maurice Car'rie. The winery is near the start of the wine trail so it was the first stop. While there were a few groups it didn't start getting crazy until about 30 minutes later when the tour groups came by. Fortunately, I was able to order when the line was short. Of course, the brie bread was ordered, and got the red wine flight. So the brie bread, it's like one of those bread bowls for soup but in place of soup it's filled with cheese. It briefs well and sounds interesting but oh man is it filling. They said it was a sourdough but it was slathered with a ton of garlic butter. There was so much of it left and I didn't eat anything for the rest of the day. I'm not an oenophile but what I know about red wines, I wasn't super impressed, I thought the wines were pretty light, especially for full-bodied wines that reds are known for. read more

I like how this winery had food and drink options in a order at the register format, not a sit down restaurant. I was super excited to try their World Famous Baked Brie, which is a huge, round garlic sourdough bread with Brie cheese baked inside of it. We ordered a bottle of wine, the baked Brie, and a mango & berry boozy pop. We got our number then walked around the property to look at the venue & fountain area. They have a large lawn that you can have picnics, or you can sit at tables. We decided to sit at a table with shading over it. There was also a private event going on in one of the buildings. The boozy pop was a cool treat, a fruity popsicle dunked in a glass filled with sparkling wine. The bottle of white wine was okay, not spectacular. The baked Brie came wrapped in tin foil. I was so stoked to dip the garlic bread inside the cheese. Next time, I would love to get soup in a garlic bread bowl, which sounds even better than Disneyland bread bowls with the bonus of it being garlic bread and a bigger size. There was plenty of parking and an easy walk to the main building. Roses were in bloom, adding to the charm of a perfect spring day. The place was bustling with activity during Saturday lunch, with tour buses and visitors creating a lively atmosphere, but the staff managed it well. I ordered a pesto chicken pizza and Brie baked in a sourdough loaf at the front of the bar. The bread was phenomenal, and the pizza boasted a very good, thin, crispy crust. As for drinks, we tried The Godfather II, Moscato, and both red and white Sangria. They were good enough for lunch and complemented the meal nicely, though not outstanding enough to take home or inspire us to join the club. The location is spacious, with plenty of tables on the porch and a covered patio, as well as a large lawn dotted with gazebos for shade. The atmosphere at Maurice Car'rie is a lot more hectic and lively than at other wineries. You cannot make a reservation and you pretty much have to fend for yourself with everything. We waited in a long line to order at the bar and there are multiple lines with the bartenders doing their best to move between them so some move slower than others. I wish it was more organized. There is a large grassy field out front where they have live music, a small area for dancing, picnic tables and some seating under canopies. A lot of people brought picnic blankets to sit on and their own food but I guess I'm new to the game because I didn't even think of that. We luckily grabbed a table under a canopy right as a group was leaving. It looked like other groups at the canopies had been parked there all day, so keep in mind that spots don't turn over as quickly here because there's no time limit. It was super crowded on a Saturday and maybe I feel this way because of COVID but again, I wish there was more structure here. The music and dancing was really fun. They offer a red flight, a white flight, or mixed. I went with the mixed and they will find you and bring it to where you end up sitting. We enjoyed the wine! We almost purchased a bottle but we didn't want to go back inside and brave the crowds again. As you see in many reviews, the Baked Brie Bread Bowl is what people come here for. I was disappointed because I look at photos from years past and there's a huge wheel of melty Brie inside. I am guessing they changed the recipe because we received a small wheel that seemed as if it had been cut in half because it wasn't deep at all. Since we stopped by on a weekday, there was only about a handful of people so it wasn't overly crowded to be serviced. This was stop 3/3 for us on a recent Sunday Grapeline Wine Tours a few weeks ago. We loved it because it offers a different tasting experience than you'll get at most other wineries. For reference, this was my fiancé and I's third visit to Temecula in the last 2 years. We've visited 10+ Temecula wineries across those 3 tours. This one is the only one so far in the Temecula area that does tastings in this special way. Not sure if that's COVID-related or not, but we enjoyed it! Instead of an employee coming to your table and slowly going through your tasting, and instead of standing in front of a bar and doing your tasting, an employee will bring the fun to you ... all at once! Your tasting glasses are all brought at the same time in this apparatus that holds 5-6 glasses/person at once! They make for cute pics lol. The employee will briefly explain what you're getting, then leave you be. We lucked out and got to sit in the gazebo outside. There was tons of outdoor seats, both shaded and in the sun. They had music going and some yard games you could play if you wanted. The atmosphere was very upbeat ... much needed at the end of a tour when we were all beyond drunk and ready to sleep! One of my fav parts of this stop was actually the food. We had this AMAZING cheese bread with brie cheese that was melted, yet thick because there was so much. When I say cheese bread, I don't mean a few lousy slices. We got an entire circular loaf smothered in brie! It was so much that our group of 4 (+ sharing a few bites with the other 2 members of our group that we didn't personally know) couldn't even finish it all and had some to take home! read more

This was a very laid back Winery. You make your purchases inside and they bring them out to you. We had a nice little spot under a shaded tree. The soup and dip was really good and filling because of the bread. I caution you to not eat too much bread . The bathrooms were clean. We came at the perfect time (12pm) because as we were leaving (3pm) a few party busses parked and the crowds made their way inside. They also had a few vendors by the parking lot so on the way out we made a few purchases, sterling silver rings and bracelets, plants and home made perfumes. We came here after our horseback riding which was next door. Walking in I was impressed with how nice it was. The First Lady to great us was a tall older blonde, she was extremely rude and cold to us. We got our first 2 tasters from her then could not stand her attitude anymore and went to the other bar. I originally would of gave this place 2 or 3 stars if we stayed with the other lady, but thank goodness for Michele for saving our experience. She was very friendly and very easy to talk to. She was very knowledgeable about the winery which is always great to hear. Michelle even offered my boyfriend and I 2 additional tasters free of charge! We got a taster of Merlot and she offered us an older merlot to try as well. It was really good she did because my boyfriend and I bought that bottle of wine. She also gave us free desert wine because she wanted us to end the tasting with something sweet. It was awesome! Even though we used up our 5 tasters she wanted us to have a perfect tasting experience. If that's not 5 start customer service I don't know what is! My girlfriends and I had a blast at Maurice Car'rie winery during our weekend trip to Temecula! We went horseback riding right next door to start off the weekend, and the guides there recommended we try this place. It was our first winery experience there and it was a great start to our weekend! The wines may not be the best, but they are a lot of fun! They have a delicious Peach Mango sparkling wine which, let's be honest, tasted like a sweet juice. The boozy pops were a real hit with our group too! Such a fun and refreshing treat on a warm day, and it's something pretty unique to this winery. The real highlight was the Brie Bread though! The 5 of us shared one, and even debated getting a second one (even though we weren't really that hungry!). It was so crispy, ooey gooey and garlicky, yum!
