This location has probably been open a month now. I have not used the salon. This place definitely has things it needs to work on. I went in for two items from the benefit counter and they were out of both items. There wasn't even an offer to check the inventory or anything. Then she suggests I just get the nyx version and I ask if she thinks there would be a different in quality and she laughed! Then said "no I don't" The I go to check out and the line was so long, with only two cashiers. This seems to be a problem at all ulta locations. Then the cashier didn't even say "thanks for checking us out! Or come back and visit us!" It just all in all bummed me out. read more

I come here probably once a week with my sisters. The employees are friendly and know how to help you if you need something or have a question about a product. Its clean and the testers aren't messy. Probably one of the better organized Ultas I've been too. The lines can get a bit long depending on the time so if they had more employees working at the checkout it would help read more

I met Sarah about 9 months ago. I'd used the same hair stylist for years but had recently moved. My other stylist had damaged my hair so bad it was breaking close to my scalp. Sarah helped me with product purchases to strengthen my damaged hair. She even helped me choose a new blow dryer. When I asked for highlights she said "I don't feel comfortable doing highlights for you until your hair is healthy" Sarah has always been attentive, courteous, kind, and professional. Employees are always hanging out talking with each other or more concerned with their own makeup and hair, not customer service. Ridiculous! I went for a balayage and a cut, a few days ago. The person who did my hair did not know what she was doing. She started the balayage really high up, it looks like she was giving me highlights. The first go around my hair came out brassy and there was bleach spots in different parts of my hair. When I asked her about it, she tried to talk me out of it. I asked for her to consult a another style because my hair didn't look like the picture I showed her at all. The senior stylist told her we needed to bring the highlights down and dye the upper part of my hair to match my roots. When she proceed with the color, she didn't blended it in, so it looks like a straight line from the darker portion to the highlights. She tried to comb my hair a different way to hide the line, I was so upset because not only I been here for 6 hours but now my hair have been over processed. I engaged the senior stylist and advised him I was really unhappy with my hair. He made an appointment for me to come back and fix it, which I was ok with. On the day of the appointment, I called in to confirm and was told he called in sick. Really???!! I'm never going back there again!!!! read more

so. I came here looking for a nice translucent powder. I was standing in the store looking around with no help for about 5 minutes. Finally I found someone who I thought could help me, but instead of walking me to where the product was that I was looking for, she told me " look on this aisle or this aisle on the end in the bins. if you do not see it there try this aisle" I would have appreciated it if she would have taken the time to show me where the item was then maybe color match me. This is my typical place for a haircut and style, and I've always been happy with their prices and services. Recently I had an appointment for a haircut with Alison, and I showed up right at my appointment time, but there was nobody there. I waited for 15 minutes past my appointment time before seeking out someone (who happened to be the store manager) to ask about where my stylist was. He confirmed I did have the correct time and date for my appointment in their system, and went to call the stylist. She was still at home, and I was told she was on her way. At this point it was 25 min past my appointment time, so I gave up and left. I've never had a stylist no show on the customer before. The manager was very friendly and apologetic. He offered to discount my services for the day, but it just wasn't worth it at that point. I didn't want a rushed, late stylist cutting my hair. Lady who helped me was nice. Very tall slender blonde at checkout was not nice. I did not give her my number so she proceeded to ask another customer for their number to earn points off my money. I had no clue why she was asking and politely declined. I never shop here. The right action would have been to explain to me that I'd be missing out on points and then let me offer my number up after that and ask if I minded if she offered it to another customer. Which I wouldn't have minded. She stopped in the middle of my transaction to make a scene, involve another customer and use a condescending voice while doing so. Not sure where she got her training from but that is not the right course of action to take when a customer declines to give their phone number. Had my amazing haircut and all over color with the gorgeous Nuvia today. She transformed my hair from blonde to a gorgeous rich chocolate with shimmers of red and it looks amazing. The cut was awesome!!!! I don't like to loose a lot of length, but she cuts it in such a way that the hair actually looks longer and way healthier. I could never imagine trusting my hair to anyone other than Nuvia. So glad that I have found her to put up with my constant hair needs and high maintenance. read more

Worst hair cut and customer service! Do NOT see Alexis at the Euless location to have your hair cut or styled. She claims to love a bob hairstyle. What started as a promising visit, turned out with me leaving very unhappy. Upon arrival we discussed what I wanted (and specifically did not want) with my hair cut. Even showed her multiple photos. She seemed to have a good understanding. In the end it was very clear she had no idea what she was doing and ended up asking for help from another stylist!!!! My hair is butchered, uneven and looks ridiculous. I am embarrassed to admit I paid any money for this service. While she did discount service $10, she never apologized, or said another word to me. She didn't care she just ruined my hair. After getting home, washing again, blow drying and using a flat iron (which she would not do) it became even more clear how UNEVEN this cut is and I will have to go have professionally fixed. read more

Do not waste your time at this location. I came here over the holidays because they had more in stock than the Southlake location and I was treated so poorly by one of the cashier ladies. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I came back to this location today and it was awful. There was no one to help me and when I was checking out the same lady rang up this NYX spray primer for $16 when it was really $8. She went and checked and said the product next to it was $8 and was very rude about it. I looked it up online and it was definitely $8. Sarah in the salon needs to go for lessons or something ... I'm a gal who has had regular highlights done for the majority of my adult life and not once have I ever walked away with a giant chunky line of dark root across the front of my hairline. Instead of putting the foil against my forehead and painting down, working front to back, she started in the back then had me lean my head back and missed major piece. I questioned this during the process and was told not to worry, she knew what she was doing. She didn't, it is terrible and now I need to go get it fixed. In voicing my displeasure, I was told 'um, I don't see it, it's fine' and then when the manager came out, there was little they could do, no discount offered, barely an apology (actually no, there wasn't an apology) and I left paying nearly $150 for hair that made me want to cry. read more

I got my hair cut here. When I went in I was excited as I'd never been there before. I then had to deal with an stylist, Sarah, who apparently just broke up with her boyfriend and was complaining to another guy stylist about it. She then kept mentioning how she was already supposed to be gone. Here I'm thinking "don't mess up my hair." Upon talking to the other stylist she would cut and not look at my hair while cutting. This made me cringe. I kept trying to get her attention back on me. After the guy left other associates in Ulta were asking about nails and again she would look away and cut. Another stylist came in around 6:00pm, whom Sarah said she did not like, and was working on someone elses hair. Sarah would then look away again and cut. She then left me to go do something while in the middle of a cut. My hair looks kind of choppy and I'm not satisfied. The experience was horrible. Not worth the $37 + the tip I felt obligated to pay. I am now going to have to go somewhere else to get my hair cut and that just isn't fair. I wasted my money at Ulta cause the stylist couldn't bother to pay attention and do her job, which was cut my hair. *Update:* The salon manager, Oscar, called me trying to rectify the situation. Instead he was condescending and rude. He started yelling at me over the phone and getting snarky. This place is a joke! read more

Ulta just irks me and this goes for the other 2 locations near me (Southlake & Hurst) No one is welcoming or speaks. There's no one to help you. The staff would rather talk amongst themselves. I came in at 10am as soon as they opened, I needed my usual Lancôme foundation. Two of the girls were just standing there talking to each other. I walked right by them 3 times and they didn't even acknowledge me. Seriously? I'm right here! I could hear their whole conversation (she was mad she argued with her boyfriend ) Anyways, I was irritated and left. I felt like yelling "girls get to work"! I ended up calling and speaking to the manager. He was nice, he asked me to come back and they would take care of me. I declined his offer. But time after time it's the same story. NO ONE IS HELPFUL!! I only come here mostly for their coupons and sales. Every now and then I get my brows done by Erica. She's super sweet and very helpful. But honestly don't go in expecting to be treated like you would be at Sephora. read more

I came in to pick up my regular Rimmel powder and a NYX lipstick. I was holding my phone and keys in my hand, so I put the makeup on a counter and put my phone and keys in my purse then picked up the makeup off the counter. I looked up and one of the workers, a man with pink hair i believe, made a gesture to another associate to look over at me. She stared at me as I walked away from the counter and then when I got closer she asked if I needed anything. No smile, no warmth...almost as if they assumed I had just stolen something or put something in my purse when I CLEARLY out the two pieces of makeup on the counter before putting my phone and keys away. Just ridiculous to feel so profiled and be made to feel so uncomfortable. I noticed the associates gathered together and were giggling and looking at me, as I could see them through a mirror on the wall. I'm appalled and will definitely NOT be returning to this location. Or probably any Ulta location since I've never had a particularly good experience anywhere else either. The associates are rude and I would NOT recommend anyone to shop here. Especially if you are a person of color or anything else the employees deems as morally suspect and/or suspicious. read more

I came to this Ulta location hoping to get the star treatment that I get from my Ulta at home. I went in for a blow out and makeup application for a wedding I'm going to tonight. I left looking like a clown complete with orange blush and leftover eyeshadow fallout all over my face! Instead of washing and styling my hair, the stylist curled it and attempted to tease it. We found 6 employees standing around talking to each other, averting their eyes as we walked by. I scanned the place for a manager and found her at a register, oblivious to the employees lack of attentiveness. I wish I could say this was an isolated incident, but it happened before. I am appalled at how I was treated tonight. Lizzette was putting some make up in a bag & I asked for her help. She looked at me & said we have people in line waiting. I asked if someone else could help me & she told me she would but had to get the line down. After two customers she called someone to help me in the Bare Minerals area. I waited 5 min for someone to come & help me. I was desperate to get make tonight. When the young lady came to help me she had very little knowledge on the product. Someone who came up behind her who I thought was a friend was there off hours. The young lady who tried to help me said to the girl next to her, " I know we are not suppose to do this but can you help her." After she walked away the other person don't me not to worry she works there. I was tested do some foundation when she was paged for the back. She told me she had to go. I was left there. So I asked Lizzette again for assistance. After 5 more minutes Lizzette told me that they were short staffed & she would attempt to help me for only for a moment. I can't believe how I was ignored, pawned off, & later dismissed. I am a single mom and work hard for my income & really as if that is the point it is nerve racking that when I came in the lady I needed help from went to a guy that came in later. The staff here are young and careless and they could care less about helping you find a product, the managers are rude and they don't thank you or welcome you when you walk into the store, every Ulta i've been at I have always had a wonderful experience and this one is by far the worst. If it were just a few associates that were rude I wouldn't have even made this review, but it is all of the associates that work there that have a major attitude and no consideration towards the customer. If you can avoid it here, please do. The Ulta in Arlington over by Collins is a far better store, the staff is amazing, kind and helpful, and the store is always well stocked! I was so excited for this Ulta location to open in Euless! I am an makeup enthusiast and is also a free-lance makeup artist. I came here a couple of times when they first opened and they were quiet friendly. However this recent experience changed my views on how I see this Ulta location. I have not felt so harassed in my life. My friends and I walked in and we weren't greeted at all. We strolled through the "high end" aisle and picked up some goodies. We grabbed our own shopping bag because our hands were full. We then tested out some products on our hands and then two workers came around. One of them greeted us with a "welcome back!" and the other one said absolutely nothing. The lady with the curly-blue hair followed us around through every aisle and she was NOT slick at all. Every where we walked she was in the corner of our eyes. This worker did not even act like she was arranging and cleaning up products to look like she was quote and quote "working", but she just stood there and stared at us. I understand keeping an eye on customers because I have worked retail myself and I don't believe on making my customers feel uncomfortable. Every product that we wanted to purchase we placed it in the "Ulta Shopping Bag". We had no intention to steal and we were definitely not raised that way. We then strolled through the other side of the store which has all of the drugstore products. She then followed us across the store again and of course stared at us with out being discreet. I couldn't even pick up a product because she made me feel so uncomfortable. I then separated from my friends to look at another brand and once again I saw her in the corner of my eye. I decided to do an experiment and went through every aisle and see if she would follow me and of course she was there but with another co-worker. There were now two workers staring and keeping an eye on us. I must say we did not look suspicious at all and dressed pretty well. Never did the blue haired girl ask us "do you guys need any help or have any questions" but instead she just "mugged" us through out the whole store. She then went and harassed my friend that was looking through NYX cosmetics and stood literally one foot away from him. We then went and checked out and she still had her eyes on us. Then we saw the worker greet a group of light skinned ladies and helped them with products. The manager checked us out and my friend told her about our frustration but she just replied with, "yeah, she's something else". No apology no nothing. They're really understaffed so I understand that they still need that worker to fill up the extra hours. I will now drive the extra 10 minutes to a different location to be given a better service.
