The team was incredibly professional, efficient, and organized from the moment they arrived. They carefully wrapped our valuable and fragile items to protect them during the move and packed everything with great attention to detail. We were amazed that they were able to fit all of our belongings into the truck while keeping everything secure and well-organized. Because we had more items than expected and were working with a smaller U-Haul, they even sent a third mover to help speed up the process. That extra effort made a huge difference and showed how committed they were to providing great service. The entire team was friendly, considerate of our belongings, and went above and beyond our expectations. I would absolutely recommend Good Deeds Movers and wouldn't hesitate to book them again for a future move!

I have very high standards when it comes to handling a move, and they exceeded every expectation. I don't usually leave reviews, but they were so exceptional that I had to share our experience. From start to finish, communication was excellent, pricing was competitive, and the entire team was friendly, professional, and incredibly careful with our belongings. We actually used them twice. The first time was to help move items into a POD when we listed our home for sale. Fernando was so great to work with that we hired them again for our full cross-country move from California to New York once our home sold. What really stood out was how different they were from other moving companies -- our belongings were never combined with another shipment, they carefully packed and protected our large fragile items, and everything was wrapped and handled with incredible care. They made the cross-country move feel effortless, and our belongings arrived the day after we flew in. The entire process was seamless. Joel's team are truly moving rockstars, and we can't thank them enough. Selling a home and relocating across the country is stressful, but they made their part of the process completely stress-free for us. My husband and I are beyond impressed with their work and highly recommend them. We will absolutely use them again for any future moves or even if we just need an extra set of hands. Notably, I found out they also will haul away items too - we never thought to ask them about those services but would have used them for that as we had some large items we paid another company to haul away the day before our full move, but could've just had them handle that too. Save yourself the hassle of shopping around for any moving needs -- just call Jaye and Joel!

The coordinator/administrative staff and movers are all very polite and pleasant to talk to and I…read moredo very much appreciate their hard work. But I must say there is a concerning lack of professionalism in both communication regarding the logistics and handling of the furniture. They did not wrap/pad most of the furniture, did not disassemble the dining table until we asked, and during drop-off there did not seem to be much careful organization or consideration of which furniture to move in first. For example, they moved the TV in before the TV unit and thus had to put the TV on the floor in a way that could have damaged the TV screen when they later moved the TV unit into the room. On top of this we were never informed of the fact that if the move exceeds 10 minutes into the next hour we would be charged for the full hour. The original quote did not include all the fees that were later disclosed when we paid the full balance. When I expressed my concerns regarding their failure to communicate these fees beforehand, I was not given a sincere apology. Overall, the movers seem like very nice people and I sincerely appreciate their hard work, especially considering that one of the furniture (a rocking chair) was quite sizable and required some maneuvering to fit through the door and limited space at the drop-off location. However, I personally would not be using their service again and hope they can improve their workflow for other future customers.

This review is provided after my fiancé and I utilized Konstantin and Orange Coast Movers twice,…read moreonce in July 2024 in a move from Downtown Los Angeles to Orange County and most recently in local move occurring in July 2026. Their competitive rates were explained in a straightforward fashion with no surprises and/or hidden fees. In both moves Konstantin was easily accessible and detail oriented in his explanations about the process, expectations as to the scope of their services, and even provided tips for us to assist in our moves. Their team was top notch akin to watching a Formula one/NASCAR pit crew perform complex repairs during a race as they packed and unpacked items. However, they maintained a respect for all of our items, even the more fragile ones and thus balancing skill and speed all at once. I am truly grateful to Konstantin and the Orange Coast team as they alleviated a monumental amount of stress that moving typically creates. This peace of mind allowed us to focus on other things typically involved in moving to a new apartment and/or escrow process and make informed decisions in other avenues. Thank you so much!

I hired this company to move a two-bedroom apartment. Before the move, I spoke directly with the…read moreowner, who told me that based on what I described, it would probably be about a half-day job. Only one bedroom had a bed, and the second bedroom just had a futon, so that seemed like a reasonable estimate. When the movers arrived, one of them worked at a normal pace, but the other moved incredibly slowly. What should have been a half-day move turned into a 13-hour job, and I was billed for every hour. To be fair, they did hit some traffic on the drive to the next city, but the final bill still ended up being more than double what the owner had led me to expect. If you're considering hiring this company, I strongly recommend getting a fixed, upfront price instead of paying by the hour. Based on my experience, the crew worked very slowly, took frequent breaks, and even went to lunch while still on the clock. Paying by the hour ended up costing far more than it should have.
