We signed a paper contract when they dropped off the unit, although I don't really remember signing a contract. But then 3.5 years later, they sent us a digital contract and asked us to sign it. But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

One homeless lady has a storage unit there. AND she lives there. Management does not care I guess, as long as she pays her rent. There are mice, roaches, and some kind of gnat infestation as well. So you need to put down glue traps and roach paste in your unit. The new manager will spray if you report the problem. And they come collect the mice on their glue traps in the hallway if you let the office staff know about it. It is not a climate controlled building. So when it is hot outside, it will be hot in your unit. When it is cold outside, it will be freezing in your unit. There are other storage companies who provide better service. I encourage you to go with them.

Everything is COVERED in ran feces and urine. You NEED breathing equipment, gloves, and sanitary equipment to even go into the units. This was across MULTIPLE units with MULTIPLE friends on SEPERATE occasions. None of these friends were related in any way either... This is a problem with the property. What's even worse is that this isn't the only Public Storage property that I've been to like this. In fact, it's the 2nd one... It makes me absolutely sick. I actually say the last part literally. The last time I went to this exact location was on Sunday (4/21) and was exposed to these horrible, rancid conditions. I have SEVERE COPD, lung problems. I've been coughing, choking, having nose bleeds, etc since then. This place is so contaminated by rats, rat feces, and rat urine, that it's unsafe. It makes people SICK. My friends have made so many complaints that it's not even funny and the employees and managers just brush it off without a care. It's not a joke and it's not funny. It's dangerous. It's unsafe. It's hazardous. This facility needs to be investigated and shut down by the health department.

My friend and I live in the same complex and moving to another unit across the parking lot. So, we need her place and my place moved into one space. We have packed everyone up and though we were ready to go. They called me to confirm my move today and spoke with Chris. We went over the items and then the price. He even threw in a free kitchen packing kit and said the guys would help. Cool. He also gave me discount and I was happy. Kion calls me an hour later asking me to confirm the move. What? I spoke to Chris. We go over things and he tells me we are good to go. I am emailed a confirmation and then see a different price. I call back and speak to him again and he says, oh, that is an estimate but we would be done before that price. Then, I get a call from Mike. He wants to confirm my move and inventory. What the heck? He says his notes are confusing so he wants to check. We go over things, AGAIN. He then tells me that it sounds like more work so, he is going to send 5 guys instead of the original 2 guys and a truck because it's gonna be a big job and that it would take 9-12 hours and double the price that I was told. Umm, what? For a 2 bedroom apartment?? He tells me I can speak to his general manager, Kion. I literally confirmed with him before! I literally start crying because I am already stressed from preparing to move in a timely manner before the 31st. Kion and I speak again and he won't even let me get a word in and trying to say that the numbers Mike estimated are correct and that there is no way it wouldn't be a full day job. I booked my move a week in advance and paid a $100 deposit after being told it would guarantee my moving date and secure my spot. Then, only 3 days before my scheduled move, the manager -- I believe his name was David -- called to tell me they were fully booked for the entire week and that my move would either need to be rescheduled or canceled altogether. I made it very clear from the beginning that my apartment lease ends on the 31st and that I needed to move before then. Had this company been honest about the fact that paying a deposit did not actually guarantee service, I would have hired another moving company much earlier. Now I'm left scrambling at the last minute, despite having everything planned out. I also have to report to work in another state on the 1st, so this has created a major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, speaking with them on the phone was a complete disaster. The communication was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. They agreed to refund the $100 deposit, but that does not make up for the inconvenience, stress, and potential consequences this situation may cause me. If I receive penalties from my landlord for a late move-out or face any employment-related consequences because of this company's failure to honor their commitment, I will absolutely be exploring all possible legal and consumer protection options.
