Very quick and easy experience for me to rent a truck for a day. Customer service was nice and accommodating. I overestimated the time needed but was still able to return it once I was done. They do charge quite a bit for not returning the tank on full so for those in the future, I suggest you do. read more

This started a little shaky but Damian and his team corrected the issue we had with getting the cargo trailer hooking up. In addition, they made sure we knew a close location to drop off the rental in the new state and called ahead to make sure we were taken car of at that location. The level of customer service I received from Damian (working from home sick) was above and beyond expectations. Thank you for taking car of us on our long move out of state. We really appreciate all that you and your team did for us. read more

Avoid this location and instead go to the location on W Northern Pkwy (or any other uhaul). I had made a one way reservation for the Falls Rd location weeks in advance. The day of the pickup, arrived on time to the location and was greeted by Amanda, who at first was attentive and cordial. At first she couldn't find our reservation and after a minutes she informed us that a voicemail had been left at 5:23pm the day before- less than 24hrs before our reservation pick up time. We had no record of a missed call or voicemail or email. She didn't have the details/reason of the voicemail in the computer so had to make a call to find out more. She then informed us that the voicemail was was to inform us of a change of location. Again, we checked our phones and had No record of a call or voicemail. Also, No email to notify of a change or update to online reservation. She informed that we had to go to a location 20minutes drive always. Because we didn't have a car to get there, we asked if there's was a ride or compensation since we would have to take an uber. At th is point she got defensive and combative. Accusing us of being sassy and loud, which we did not and quickly clarified that was not the intent of our inquiry. After an unsuccessful attempt to clarify the issue and get a reasonable accommodation, we left the location. At no Point was the agent apologetic or empathetic for the mixup and change in the reservation. We went to the new location in W Northern Pwky and the staff there was super friendly, accommodating, and courteous. read more

I came in on a rainy afternoon to buy some packing paper and get information on renting one of those PODS-like boxes. I'd never rented one from U-haul, but have rented trucks and trailers from U-haul many, many times. I have rented the (real) PODS before, so I am very familiar with their service and the charges I can expect (from that company, at least). When I entered this place, I see one young guy slumped back in his chair looking at his phone. I approached and told him what I was interested in and he began to ask questions and input stuff into his computer. He wasn't listening to me and I had to repeat what I wanted several times. He also could not give me any firm numbers. This is less than stellar service. I bought my packing papers and left. read more

This is the worst place to rent a truck from. I've rented a lot of truck to facilitate my moves over the years and this is by far the worst experience. I rented a truck for $29 plus mileage and, after the additional insurance and mileage estimate, around $100 was the estimated total. Once I got there and proceeded to check out it had gone up $30 for the "equipment rental" and there was no explanation for the additional cost. Also, you need to be dropped off becomes there is nowhere to park your vehicle, what a huge inconvenience. Not to mention David was sitting behind the desk with a half smoked ciggarette behind each ear and had no idea on how to talk to a customer. Worst experience ever with Uhaul and I'll never go back to any location read more

Really easy and pleasant experience. Walked in without a reservation and was driving a truck 10 minutes later. The manager, Melissa Perry, was really accommodating and friendly. I really felt like a valued customer, a.k.a. a human being, and I would definitely rent from this location again. read more

I can guarantee you that they will treat you very well here and that your reservation will be honored on time once you get past the long lines that appear to never move. The weekends are much better as they have more cashiers working or during the end of the month, when most people move. They also refills gas tank, but I will warn you, ,their prices are definitively higher than the good old supermarket. read more

I have used this location for all of my moves and storage, about 4 times in the past 3 years. Always friendly and always willing to help out. The staff is great. read more

Absolutely no complaints. I provided necessary info ahead of time via email, arrived Sunday morning just before 9 a.m., and was on the road by 9:15 (one customer ahead of me). Gas gauge was marked at 7/8 on contract, but was probably closer to 3/4. I returned it with 3/4, and was not charged for anything extra. All 3 employees I dealt with on both ends of the transaction were, if not overtly friendly, appropriately professional. Would definitely use again. read more

Extraordinary service!!!!! The gentlemen at this location were great. Very professional, pleasant and super helpful. The service they provided was quick and efficient. They made sure we were in and out in less than 10mins. In addition to the service they provided, they were also gracious enough to provide a battery charger so that my car could start as my car battery died in the their parking lot. They were very accommodating and patient. They offered all the help that they could provide to us, no questions asked and while attending to the incoming customers. We could not have experienced better service and just kind people going above and beyond. Those 2 gentlemen rocked!!! read more

I drove only about 5 miles around town and they charged me for 39!! Still waiting to hear back from their customer service. This should not happen. read more

Rented a truck from this location. Initially tried to do an online reservation using my credit card but their system was down. Went into the location to get a truck, paid cash, left with the truck on 1/4 tank. Returned the truck with 1/4 tank of fuel in it and dropped the keys in their dropbox. The next day I get a bill for an additional $86 for fuel and "service fees", stating the truck was left with 1/8 tank of gas in it. Now, I know where the gauge was, and I had my receipt for the gas. I called and spoke to the manager, Melissa, about the bill. She told me that she was the one that checked the gauges and that I was lying. When I told her that when I initially picked up the truck, all of the trucks were running with the AC blasting (probably something that they regularly do), which is possibly why the gauge was reading lower, she got rude and hung up on me. I called back and the rudeness continued, and she hung up on me again. I was speaking to the location MANAGER, who hangs up on customers that don't agree with her. Quality employee right there. Really glad I never gave them my credit card or I'm sure it would have just been charged. I worked it out with the corporate office and the additional charges have been waived. DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. If you do, take pictures of the gas gauge BEFORE and AFTER you return the truck. read more

Easy truck rental. They will return boxes you don't use.

Exemplary customer service- thoughtful and anticipatory. The U-Haul main call-line created some confusion for me around getting my hitch installed, but Melissa asked all the right questions and set me up with an installaton the next day-- and helped make sure I had the trailer I would need in a shorter than usual timeframe. Acknowledging that sometimes we don't/can't get exactly what we want, when we want, the 5 star review is for exemplay service (that in this case also ended with exactly what and when I'd hoped!) read more

Pick up went fine, was quick and friendly, and that's the reason there is 1 star on this review. Drop off was horrible. I was given a truck with exactly 1/4 of a tank of gas, drove it a total of 4 miles, and returned it with still 1/4 of a tank of gas. But I was told it was under 1/4 of a tank and I'd have to pay $5 per gallon plus a $30 service fee. Yes, this service fee is in the contract, but it was the representative who got to make the call, and when they give out all their trucks at a questionable gas level, they set up their customers. It is absolutely a scam, and the employees I dealt with at the end were delighted to be rude about almost everything. read more
