We signed a paper contract when they dropped off the unit, although I don't really remember signing a contract. But then 3.5 years later, they sent us a digital contract and asked us to sign it. But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

Utilized one of their largest units for 6 months while our house was remodeled. We wrapped our furniture in plastic as a precaution but it didn't seem to bother the mice that left droppings all over our furniture and there was a nest in one of our boxes. We were able to professionally clean most of it but a few chairs are a complete loss due to the smell of mouse urine that fills any room they are placed in. Additionally, we found a dead mouse in our TV stand. I do not have pictures as we wanted to clean the items as soon as possible but this had to have been a full blown infestation of mice in these units for how many droppings there were on our furniture. Called Extra Space Storage corporate and was told they was nothing they could do. After this I called this particular location and was told there was nothing they could do because we declined the protection plan. I think we assumed that there wouldn't be an infestation of mice due to the "regular pest control" as outlined on their website. DO NOT keep your stuff here for any length of time. There are plenty of other options in the area but I cannot believe the lack of cleanliness and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff.
