Also: there are several empty units next to ours, so it's not as though demand is especially high. They also sent the rate increase notice in a very small, plain, nondescript mailer; clearly hoping we wouldn't notice it until a few months into the new rate. Why not send a text or email with this info? Shady practices all around, very disappointed.

I insisted that it be removed today. It blocked access to the mailboxes which are serviced from a truck. It blocked visibility from my driveway. Particularly dangerous today to block visibility on the road as it is Halloween and children will be walking and cars will be on the road. The box lacked reflective indicators. The box was finally removed a few minutes ago and "Billy Martin", director of QC, says it will be dropped off somewhere and returned to somewhere (would not divulge) next week when it's needed. Today we arrived the power was turned off the working door. A man was trying to manually open the door with trouble. The facility has 24 hour surveillance, keypad and gate at entry and exit, lighting and climate control at the storage unit, and Space to unload and pickup. I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau, my insurance company, and to any and all business review agencies like Yelp. I must say that I am leaving now that the new management has created an atmosphere of distrust, dishonesty, and lies. When I first moved my trailer, I was very happy with Donna Strickland managing the property because she was very quick to notify someone if there ever was an issue, concern, or question about my property. Since the new management has taken over, we have experienced property damage that they refused to report. It was only found after we checked on the trailer. We were told that it had been that way for over a year, which is an outright lie. I had been to my property in January 2022 to retrieve items from the trailer and there was no problem at that time. We were then told that we did this, which again was an outright lie. Our property was hit by another vehicle and the management never informed us or took a report from the other vehicle involved. They are now claiming that cameras, which were in place are not working. They are refusing to take responsibility for the damage since they failed to report the incident. They have been dishonest in the handling of this matter and have lied every time I question them about this matter. We were told that a report would be sent to Corporate but that was over a month ago and still, no one has contacted us about this matter. I will be happy to inform anyone that has property at Fort Knox Storage in Columbia, Maryland to reconsider and move it as soon as possible.
