The paint application was uneven and looked poorly done, which was especially disappointing given that we made a separate trip back to the salon. I understand that things can happen, but the overall experience felt unprofessional and left us very disappointed especially because i've been coming here for over a year every two weeks, Cindy always asks about my mom and when my mom comes in she's not even acknowledged. When customers specifically request a technician and make the effort to return for that person, I believe they should be treated with more consideration and professionalism. I'm so happy I gave them a chance and that they were open and so accommodating. The service was great! Everyone is so nice and as someone who is very picky, I can happily say they did great on my French tip pedi & gel x nails. The salon is small but roomy and very clean. There is a parking lot in the plaza but it's shared with other businesses and small so it can be busy. However there was plenty of street parking nearby. I will definitely be back when I need a new set.

Reminder, I asked the guy for two pedicures for me and my daughter gel polish so my daughter getting a gel pedicure was very much known, but they waited until the very last minute 40 minutes later to tell me no. And they still expected me to get my service when they wasted 40 minutes of my time where I could've gone somewhere else. Do not waste your time. Do not waste your money.

This message is placed here for my wife .... I really really like getting my nails done here They are really good regardless who does the the nails . Now regarding the manager being rude yes I have seen it happen but she never tells me anything I go in get what I need to get done and I'm out. Reason why I put one star review is because they do not clean their tools between customers at all they put it in their little car or in a drawer and that's it . They need to clean their tools it's the law doesn't matter what they say . My mother in law came n did her eyebrows there one and they dipped the same stick in the wax warmer over and over again. I had such a great experience at U Need Nails in South Gate! The salon is super clean, organized, and has such a calm, welcoming vibe. Helen was incredibly sweet and professional, and her husband at the front desk was just as friendly and attentive. Helen did an amazing job on my nails and didn't even charge me to remove my previous set, which I truly appreciated. That kind gesture meant a lot! I got gel x & I love them so much. I also took my mom with me, and she was so happy with her nails and the overall service. Another big plus, the parking lot is huge and super convenient, which makes the whole experience even better. Wait time is horrible I was told 20 minute wait time and 20 turned into 45. They'll say anything to keep you ,after waiting for over 45 minutes I asked how much longer and now they have 2 people before me . And keep in mind those 2 people got there after me . NOT COMING BACK read more
