Don't even bother making an appointment they don't even honor it you could have one at 4:00 PM and they won't start working on you till 30 minutes after. I'm bitter sweet to write this review but I think it was past over due. I've been coming to u need nails for about 6+ years ever since they moved to the bigger location. Andy has always done my nails and diff ladies my pedi. The best person to do your acrylic with would be with Andy (the owner) who you will never find before 1pm or 2pm or 12:30pm. My review is regarding the customer service here. Regardless of my loyal business to them for so long, i feel like they are careless and don't take care of their customers. There's been numerous times I've had to wait from 30 mins up to 1 hour to get serviced WITH AN APPOINTMENT. I think today was my last straw. I made an appt w Andy himself and he didn't make it to the appt. I had no choice but to do my nails w Tony or whatever his name is, the old man who sits in the back. I've done my nails w him twice , today being the second and he does a really BAD job. I fly out of town in 2 hours so I had no choice but to stay here. The only person who apologized was Wendy who always takes care of my pedi and wax. I've mentioned this issue to Andy before and I've never gotten 1 apology from him. Horrible manicure by VICKI. I went in for a acrylic nail removal and manicure. She didn't want to "waste time" removing my acrilyc so she over filed them, cut my finger and tried to apply polish over the acrylic residue to hide it. RUDE OWNERS.... As you can see I called yesterday not today. I've been a loyal customer for many years and have never disrespected any one there. Brian is the only person that does my manicure so I would not agree to see someone else. Further I did not appreciate the condescending tone used by the owner and being called a liar. Don't bother trying to make an appointment as the owners don't care about keeping appointments. My wife showed up today for her appointment that was made the day before and the owners rudely told her that she didn't have an appointment with brian and would have to see someone other than her guy, Brian.... My wife has been going here for 5 or 6 years and has always been a loyal customer but today she was called a liar by the owners in that they told her she hadn't made an appointment with Brian but the very same lady owner who was telling her this was the very same lady who took the call the day before. They have a two stations outside and two inside. The place is large and spacious. They disinfect each station and tools after use. They use gloves and disposable liners as well has face shields and freestanding shields. read more

So...I love this place! The first time I went, I was looking for a place in hurry and wasn't expecting much. It's in a little strip mall and looks a lot nicer compared to most of the other nail salons I've been to in the area. I got acrylics for the first time here. I was kind of nervous getting acrylics for the first time and didn't want them shaved down a lot and the lady who did them listened and was very nice. I was with a friend and her and I decided to come back another day to get designs. I ended up getting black tip acrylics and I THINK it was like $16/20 for the set + $5 extra for gel on top. The second time I went, my friend and I got there just a little bit before they closed and they were still happy to serve us. (another thing I like about this place is NO attitude and very helpful) So my friend went in for a fill, brought her own special acrylic powder(which they were happy to use and knocked off a couple bucks i think), got a design on two nails, and she was happy with her results. They have a lot of nail design examples to choose from, but I couldn't make up my mind and made it up along the way. The guy who did mine was very nice and did EXACTLY what I wanted! They lasted beautifully for 7 days until I had them removed! (except for 1 rhinestone that only came off from me scrapping it pretty hard) i can't remember how much it was for the design something around $25 +$5 for gel on top. The third time I went, I had just had a bad experience the day before at another nail salon and had gotten a new set of acrylics+design(which I hated!) and wanted to change ASAP. I didn't want to go through getting a whole new set, so I had them remove what I had on my acrylics and then went from there. Not knowing what kind of design I wanted, even after I looked through their example selection and their books of past customer's nails pictures... I still couldn't decide. They were very patient with me and were very nice. Then I sat down with one of the technicians and she helped me settle on a design even though I changed my mind right before she started the design. She executed them perfectly! it was $19 + $5 for gel on top. All in all they are AWESOME! It's clean, nice looking, and the people are friendly and helpful. I am super picky about my nails and am very vocal about how I want them. They had no problem accommodating my picky perfectionist needs. I live in Silver Lake and nail salons out here are almost double what this place cost. I only come out to this part of town to visit a friend and I'm glad to have another reason to come out here every week! read more

***DO NOT COME HERE*** The last time I ever come to this place for a pedicure. The nail tech cut too deep into the the side of the toe to *remove* excess cuticle. Well, this lady cut so deep that I had to pull back in the moment from the pain, and eventually it lead to an INFECTED ingrown nail. I just finished getting a procedure done from my doctor to cut the side of my nail and she told me it was starting to get infected. It is NOT suppose to hurt for any reason when they do a pedicure. This isn't the first time I've been cut and blood flows from my nails/toes after the damage. These are words my doctor told me. Next time a nail tech causes any pain from pulling/cutting TELL THEM TO STOP they are cutting and pulling where they are not suppose to. These ladies need to get their training re-evaluated from the board, I don't want anyone going through the experience I went through from careless nail technicians who aren't doing their job properly. read more

I am very picky with who does my pedicures because of my ingrown nails and Helen does a great job at getting them out quickly and painlessly. I got my nails done yesterday (gel) and by the end of the day half of them had peeled off. I came in today to have them removed and get my money back and they refused. They wanted me to stay and get them redone; however, I don't have time because I have a flight to catch. I pleaded with them to just return my money so that I wouldn't miss my flight and they said they'd give me back $15!! This is completely unprofessional!! My sister and I have been clients for over a decade and this is how they treat me! They finally agreed to remove the gel and give me my money back ($30) but when I went to get my money they gave me $15!!! This is completely disgusting! After going off, cause honestly I couldn't take it anymore they gave me an additional $10. This place has no integrity, it's truly disgusting. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Loc did a great job on my nails. He took off my acrylics damaging my natural nails the least possible and then did a gel manicure in 20 minutes time which was all I had. Such a life saver.
