I have visited this business three times and every time I had to wait an excessive amount of time. The reason I came back was because this place is close to home and I had a last-minute event. When I arrived, I wasn't even acknowledged until it was my turn and they saw me over thirty minutes after my appointment. However, here is the reason I'm writing this review: The nail tech that did my gel manicure is extremely careless and aggressive when using cuticle cutters. Picture somebody hacking a block of ice with a sharp ice pick. She was doing it so fast that she ended up cutting me. I shouted because it was painful and it bled. She covered my finger with a cotton dipped in alcohol and acted as if nothing happened. She didn't even apologize or atleast try to compensate me by reducing the price of the nails which I would have appreciated because they were too expensive to begin with. My finger is red and swollen and I'm worried that it could be infected. On top of everything, the place did not seem very hygienic. I do not know the person's name, but she had long hair in a ponytail. I hope this business will see my review and be more careful in the future with other customers. Lastly, I am leaving two stars because the tech did a decent gel set, but I won't be coming back. read more

Update: I called and let a staff member know I wasn't happy with my nails so I was told to go in the next day. I went and Tony (the person who did my nails) fixed them and made them look pretty. They are now thin, shaped the same, and look nice. Besides that, tony was super nice about it, unlike other places I've been to where they don't take criticism nicely. I love to go to the nail salon to get pampered, to feel relaxed. I like to get extra massage, and love to seat on the massage chair. Walking in, the place looks nice, especially compared to it's outside. There are nice chandeliers, and looks bright, white and clean. The woman I got is Kathy. I loved how thorough she was with getting my toe nails cleaned up and shaped. As she was asking me about what type of pedicure I would like there was some confusion and misunderstanding. I let it go, and moved on. I chose deluxe I have gotten this type of pedicure before and usually enjoy it. But Kathy was way too harsh. I barely have any callus, and she scrubbed hard for extra long, till I said something. Then the sugar scrub smelled good, felt nice for a bit, but again way too harsh. Usually in all the places I have been to, they do the cooling clay and the hot towel or even the lotion massage right after the sugar scrub, to cool your skin or moisturize it. She went straight to polishing my nails without cooling my skin. I was uncomfortable the whole time. My skin was itchy. I kept scratching and wanting to put down my leggings. But I took deep breaths and tried to ignore it and wait for her to finish. After polishing she did put the lotion and hot towel on my feet. I feel a bit ripped off. No way did I get my 5 minute massage. I chose deluxe and did not get the cooling clay. All the times i have gotten a hot towel they wrap your whole leg, not just your toes for 2 seconds. A few people came in aftere, less than 4, and they felt rushed, and were rushing me. Worst thing you can to your clients at a nail place, is make them feel rushed. They wanted me to pay right away when I had not gotten my manicure yet. When I walked in I asked for a manicure and pedicure, and was being rushed out after my pedicure, just so they could get to everyone. I will try this place again with someone and see how it goes. read more

Horrible to say the least. Cheap price means cheap work. She filed my nails SO thin that it hurt under the heating lamp. I showed a picture of the design I wanted and NOTHING near what I showed. No communication skills whatsoever. The "design" she decided to do smeared. My nails broke after 3 days so I cut them all. And 2 of my nails have cracked right in the middle. To my surprise the tech said its under new mgmy YAY! Whether its true or not, idk but svce was a totally different. So i gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple ressons. 1. The tech although as sweet as pie, ended up cutting my finger a bit from filing my nail too fast ouch! 2. My fingers are dry from the bottom/inside from the glue he used to seal...too much glue! 3. He 4gor to clean the polish from a few fingers lol no biggie tho. All these have simple home remedies but im used to getting amazing service at my usual place. Came in with my sister earlier today. We both got pedis and loved the end results! They have a good selection of nail polishes to choose from and the place is kept very clean. I noticed that they have a washer and dryer in the salon, while we were there they were washing the used towels. Definitely good to know that they care about their customers and do not reuse the same dirty towels. My pedicure was done by Tina. She took her time and made sure my nails looked great! First timer but I will not give them a second try. I had never given such a low score. They took three, yes, 3 hours for a pedi and a mani. It is not my first time in the rodeo, I know it doesn't take that long. There was only two people when I got there and they took me in right away. Their customer service is horrible. People would come in (other customers) and felt completely ignore that they had to leave. I saw that twice! The whole process hurt, but I don't like to complaint, I really don't, so, I didn't say anything. The outcome was okay, but they didn't do what I asked them to do. They did what they wanted. Went in for a fill and a pedicure. The man who did my fill did such a horrible job. He made it look so unnatural..I get it they're fake nails but some people do a really good job at making them look nice and blending them in with the natural nail and where the nail begins. He didn't care for what I was saying and continued to do as he pleased. He didn't use the machine that files down the cuticle area and refused to file down that area to blend it in. My usual spot is closed on Sundays so I stopped by because I was in dire need to get my nails done. The experience was fine. There was barely any wait. I got a polish change which cost me $7, I've never paid more than $5, whatever and gel on my nails. It's been exactly one week and my nail polish is already falling apart. I have chips on my gel and it's began to lift on multiple nails and my toes had so much polish that I had to go home and remove the excess that was around my edges. Dip Powder not worth it. I decided to try the dip powder and it was the worst quality I've had. I've done dip powder many times at several salons and sadly, they were the least experienced with this method. The top coat lifted on almost every nail less than 24hrs later. I went back to get it fixed and they gracefully replaced the top coat on every nail, however I was left with uneven, thick nails. A week later the top coat lifted again and some cracked. In addition to this, they're (generalizing because I've experienced it with several technicians here) very rough with filing and on multiple occasions I've had to ask them to stop or remind them to be gentle. They've done ok work, but I wouldn't get the dip powder again and likely won't return. read more

I had to update my review after being a customer here for about 2 years. Let me start off by saying this place is decent and I was a satisfied customer about 70% of the time. I am not too picky with my nails. I don't get acrylics but I always get a simple gel manicure and pedicure. Nothing out of this world. There were times where I wasn't completely satisfied with my manicure and would ask them to clean up the edges. They always made minimal efforts to clean them up but I am not one to complain so I always left it at that. My last manicure with Tony was the last straw. Not only did he do an extremely sloppy job but the next day I had cuts all over my cuticles which stung every time I rubbed it against something and while I was cooking with lemon. There was gel stuck to my fingers and the edges were extremely sloppy. I asked him to clean up around the edges and all he did was unstick the gel off one of my fingers. I was still getting my pedicure at the time so I asked another person to help me clean up the edges of my manicure. She was nice about it and told me that another lady was 'better' at cleaning up gel manicures and would help me as soon as she was done with her customer. The lady that was supposed to help me had walked in a few moments earlier and was finishing up with her customer. I saw her finish up with her customer and then both ladies walked away and went inside of their lunch room where I saw them both eating lunch. I had just seen the lady walk in maybe 20 minutes prior and had only done one pedicure since she started, so there was no reason she couldn't have helped me before she ate her lunch. I waited about 10 minutes and neither one of them came to help me. I got up and went to Tony's table where I asked him once again to clean up the manicure. He scoffed at me and trimmed the edges with a buffer. I told him I still wasn't completely satisfied but that it was fine. Like I said, I am not one to complain or make a fuss out of anything but the way they handled it even though they recognized me as being a returning customer for years was honestly not cool at all.
