Julz was the blue haired bomb. Food was decent. Quick so we made our flight.

The Club lounge was on a bit of a wait and I only had a little over an hour in between flights, so I was very excited to find a Tex-Mex spot right nearby! However, I was instantly disappointed by the greeting from the bartender. I ordered a drink and was going to get some food, just because I was so hungry, but again, with the overall lackluster attitude of the staff, it wasn't worth dropping $20 on tacos. I asked what was in their picadillo and received a look from the tender, so I clarified "how do y'all make it?" She replied "they buy it, we don't make it." I then followed up, "okay, is there anything in it other than the meat, bc traditionally picadillo has items mixed in." She told me she didn't know but reluctantly went back into the kitchen to ask the kitchen crew. They also did not know what was in it. Was stuck in the Dallas airport with an unexpected layover and decided to try this spot. Was crowded so it must be good, right? Nope. My colleague and I both got taco salads, his with chicken, mine with shrimp. When we got our salads, it was just lettuce, salsa and the protein on chips. No beans, no tomatoes, no sour cream. As we waited to be seated the hostess/server, Paris, was so nice and accommodating so we decided to try the food. My burrito was delicious, the street tacos my fiancé got were also great though my burrito was more food. It's in the Dallas airport so the scenery is always entertainment. Nice location to grab something to eat quickly while waiting for flights! Overall, nice atmosphere but just very loud music. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and thought they were very average. The rice was a little on the tougher side while the green sauce was not necessarily a sauce - more of a chunkier salsa. The service was great and timely. I wish someone would give me the phone number to report the TX/MX at DFW. I ordered two breakfast tacos to go yesterday morning at the airport. The girl there told me they would be right out, and she went into the kitchen. She left me both copies of the receipt, one to sign and one to take. Ten minutes later they started calling my flight, and still no sign of the girl or my tacos. I left and took the receipts with me. Today we see that TX/MX has posted that receipt to our VISA bill. The lady Mary Brooks I think her name was at the BNA airport in Nashville TN was absolutely awful. I've never been treated the way she treated my daughter and I. She refused to serve us AT ALL because I asked if I could get 3 tacos with different meat choices. I will never go back as long as she is there. And how could I after she determined to not serve us. Vegans/vegetarians - I came in for breakfast and asked the waitress to see if the chef could do a bean burrito, no meat or eggs. Chef said yes. After ten minutes and two cups of coffee, the waitress apologized and said that the chef refused to make the burrito after all because it didn't have eggs in it. "If it doesn't have eggs, it's not breakfast." There were accommodations that could be made. Too bad. Hopefully TX/MX will make changes to accommodate a growing population of plant-based eaters. I was on a flight delay and was on the phone trying to rebook my flight. I stopped here to get a beer while waiting. I waited for a couple of minutes and then a bartender came out. Because I was on the phone I did not greet her as I was in the phone. She did not like this and rudely said "Hello there" in an aggressive tone. I said "Sorry I was in the phone." We went to TX/MX (in the nashville C terminal) after the we sat at the bar of the other restaurant where the bartender/waiter proclaimed "he doesn't need this job." lol. So we went to this chipotle kinda place. The girl (longer hair) may have been the rudest person I've ever dealt with. If she was upset bc of her issues in a relationship, I would understand why he (or she) would not want anything to do with her awful personality. Nonetheless, she obviously chose to work this job. Perhaps she was mad bc she couldn't play on her phone (or wait for the person that she was likely so insufferable to that he/she wouldn't want to hear from her--which I'd TOTALLY understand). But I gave her the benefit of the doubt and left a decent tip. Proceed with caution. If she's rude, maybe give it back. She doesn't deserve the right to ruin someone's day just because the choices she made in life has made her a hate-filled young lady. read more

The manager Luis is very rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, condescending, and conducted himself in a very angry and strange manner. I complained about my tacos that tasted like they used spoiled meet, and he flipped out on me and my family. He appeared to be on some kind of mind altering drug. His demeanor was very frightening to my family and little baby. Do not eat at this place unless you want to get food that taste spoiled, and when you complain you are approached by Luis the manager who is very aggressive, unprofessional, angry, condescending, rude, and has a demeanor that is frightening to your family.
