Yes you want to eat here! Halfway from Houston to Dallas, TX Burger has an amazing burger and shakes. The shakes are all made with Blue Bell ice cream too. This is now my must stop whenever I'm making that trip!

We started really early from Dallas with a plan to hit Houston in 4 hours straight but the gods of sleep were against us so we stopped for a nap and when we woke up this Burger place with a Subway within its premises was before us. We actually went in to get to subway went but they didnt have a veggie patty and they suggested that TX burger had one- ultimately we ended up eating here - like it was meant to be! Tip: Vegetarian friendly even though the name does not suggest it. They carry all sorts breakfast items including pancakes, waffles etc. We got the garden veggie burger, fries and a soda. The burger bread was very fresh. So were the veggies which were lettuce and pickle for the most part. The soy patty was good too, generally when we used to eat it at burger king (when they used to carry a soy patty veggie burger) , it used to be slightly stringy, but not so here so am guessing this was fresh too. The fries were sooo good. Hot, crispy and the herbs on it made them really tasty. The cole was coke , but when you get one after almost 2 years of 'no soda' time then you appreciate it even more. The burger was slightly pricey compared to MacD kind of place though that is expected and worth every penny. The burger was 4.99 each, they do have a meal combo with comes with a side of fries and a pop. It definitely made our day to resume the rest of the journey feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. A great stopover.

I have traveled past this place for over a year .. finally today on my way home we stop. $25.00 for two burger combos , the meat looked like a smashed burger , the ends were burnt .. just awful. I will NEVER go back to this place

We had fire burgers and a western burger. They came sourdough bread and were okay. We had sweet potato fries, and seasoned fries. They also have a large blue bell ice cream selection.

The shakes were decent. The fries were all right. The bread well toasted. I thought it was going to be worth the stop with the name Texas Burger. Um no... The chicken was microwaved and gummy. Not good. Not worth the stop.

Brrrrrrrger. Actually it's never cold in TX

Had the patty melt which was very good. I enjoyed the sautéed onions. Highly recommend if you like patty melts.

Combo local burgers with Subway. Good fried food and milkshake. Wish there was something less heavy, but I guess that's what Subway was for.

Burger Pattie's we're almost paper thin, causing the meat to be very dry. Area was very clean and friendly staff.

The Western burger is great. The onion rings was sizzling. Good stuff. It was like the high plains drifter.

Good food and hardworking folk, the burgers and fries aren't filled with artificial junk and made with fresh patties and cut fries. YUM

We stopped by on our way back from Shreveport expecting some standard diner food. Lucky for us, the food was way better than expected and much higher quality as well. My son and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, while my wife ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken due to the recommendation of our waitress. Unfortunately, they brought out three orders of Chicken Fried Steak. We didn't say anything and accepted the food as it was. The Chicken Fried Steak was humongous and packed with flavor. It was a tad on the salty side and the meat was a little tough. But for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, it was still better than expected. All of the sides tasted great, including the Mac n cheese, baked potato, coleslaw, fries, and onion rings. I would recommend stopping by here to support them and avoid the fast food chains.

The Pharm is in downtown Buffalo. A lot of locals eat here. If you are a hunter, you are going to love this place. On the front wall is one of the most impressive collections of deer trophies I have ever seen. Lots of restaurants with hunters for owners or workers put deer heads up on the wall. Few have as an impressive a collection of top score trophies as you will see at the Pharm. The antler widths are absolutely positively enormous. I didn't think they made deer with antlers that big. * * * What goes for the antlers goes for the food. Pharm takes pride in its steaks. This seemed like a good reason to order a rib eye sandwich. That rib eye was about as wide at the biggest trophy on the wall. It extended half a foot out of my bun on one side and half a foot out of my bun on the other side. The bun was merely a handle for picking the sandwich up. The rib eye was thin but absolutely tender. It was not the $150 steak you would get at an oil magnate's private dining club. But for an everyday steak sandwich, it was just great. I was happy to have it. I was also happy to have the onion rings that went with it. * * * I would say the crowd was 100% local. I was the only highway passer-through. There were a lot of people taking a break from work for lunch. Many of these guys had the name of their company embroidered on their baseball cap. There were retirees in camouflage having lunch with friends. There was one young Christian couple having a long friendly conversation with a lady who was probably the manager. The manager was holding a hammer and waving her hammer over the place. My guess is that they were talking about some kind of repair or remodel job going on in the restaurant. But then who knows? Altogether, it seemed like a comfortable neighborhood hangout. * * * I suppose you "could" do well by eating at the Subway right at the highway junction. I recommend you do better by going into Buffalo itself.
